Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to find out the interests and intentions of young people in entrepreneurship in 3T areas in creating an ecology-based business by processing household organic waste into organic fertilizer as a product of the sale value in implementing sustainable development goals. The problem faced is how to foster interest and intentions of entrepreneurship among young people in border areas, household organic waste that is thrown away in vain, and high use of chemical fertilizers. The target of this research is young people in border areas with farmer family backgrounds not as entrepreneurs. This study uses participatory qualitative methods and project-based learning methods. The object of the research is purposefully selected using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) data collection techniques, unstructured open-ended interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Factors that influence entrepreneurial interest are personality factors, sociological factors, and environmental factors as well as the processing of household waste into products of the sale value. The results of this study are that entrepreneurial interests and intentions are determined by freedom, self-efficacy, and more benefits if we are just employees, creativity. Ecologically-based business development has interesting potential to be developed, but in the production process, there is a tendency for these young people to be impatient (instant culture) in carrying it out and still lacking knowledge about how to package and market their products properly.

Abstract

Special and continuous attention need to be paid to the phenomenon of underground economic activities, especially in deciding the determination of this economic activities to decrease, monitor, and prevent phenomena that are adverse to national/regional income. The aims of this study are to analyze the activities and the potential for corrupt behavior of the underground economic agents, looking to avoid the tax revenues and implications on interest prices from underground economic activities. The method used for this research is a Explanatory Sequential Mix Methods, first analyzed quantitatively by formulating an equation model and applied using the purposefully selected method. The findings of the study showed that corruptive behavior in the underground economic activities has a positive influence on the amount of money supplied in narrow terms (M1-currency) from the regional levels in the 3T (foremost-outermost-underdeveloped) region. Increased corruption levels can boost the amount of money circulating in society. During most of the higher tax collection, the supply of money will increase (M1). It is necessary to implement pentahelix elements to build a synergy between actors and to begin implementing and mastering electronic/digital systems with E-Government systems in every financial transaction.   Keywords: Underground economy; narrow money; tax on revenue; sequential explanatory methods; corruption

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to provide training and assistance in the circular economy 3R (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle) model, focused on community empowerment, by transforming waste into usable products with a sale value, both organic and inorganic. Education and assistance in financial literacy are also offered in the form of financial literacy. The approach used is Participatory Learning Action (PLA) through participatory observation, discussion, training and interviewing. The benefit of this community service initiative is that the community has an understanding of the proper disposal of waste, both organic and inorganic, which is reprocessed into organic and ecobrix liquid fertilizers as an effect of the recycling of plastic waste into basic furniture and can allow easy-to - understand notes on household finances.
