Abstract

The purposes of this research were to know the influence of foot gymnastics toward skin moisture on the feet. The method of the research is “Quasy Experiment” with Pre-posttest design without control group each 13 sample was taken by simple random. Skin moisture feet before foot gymnastics = 27.91 % ± 6.28 and after foot gymnastics for six month = 36.04 % ± 8.70. The paired t test can be concluded that foot gymnastics can increase skin moisture on the feet of patients with diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

The aim is to know the description of stress level of hypertension patient at Tabanan III Public Health Center 2017. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling ie purposive sampling, with the number ofcrespondents is 59 people. Data collection tool used is DASS 42 (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) 42 a number of 14 statements. The results showed that most respondents were 22 people (37.3%) aged 65 years. The highest percentage by sex was 27 women (54.2%). Most respondents did not work 17 people (28.8%). Based on the classification of hypertension most of the respondents 32 people (54.2%) moderate to very severe hypertension. The picture of stress level that is 29 people (49,2%) have medium to very heavy stress, 20 people (33,9%) light stress and only 10 people (16,9%) normal.

Abstract

Purpose of research is to know about relation between knowledge levels about DM complications with depression level of DM sufferer in “Poliklinik Interna Sanglah” Hospital Denpasar. Type non-experimental studies correlation with consecutive sampling, large sample 65 and the analysis Kendal tau. Result of got, value of coefficient correlation is – 0,420. Negative value means the increase of one variable followed by decrease of the other variable significance (2-tailed) = 0,01 where this value are less small than 0,05. It’s means Ho pushed away and Ha accepted, so the conclusion there was a relationship between knowledge level about complication of DM and depression level of DM sufferer. Depression level of DM sufferer will be increasing if they have less knowledge and information about the disease.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of ROM exercise with rubber ball on hand muscle strength of non hemorrhagic stroke patient. Research with pre-test design post-test with control group. Selection of nonprobability samples of purposive sampling type, 46 samples in RSUD Klungkung and RSUD Bangli. Average hand muscle strength before ROM training with rubber ball 4.5130 after 8.1696, average hand muscle strength before ROM practice without rubber ball 5.7261 after 6.9609. The result of Paired T test of treatment group was obtained p = 0,000 α (α = 0,05) and control group result p = 0,000 α (α = 0,05). The result of analysis of Independent T test value p = 0,000 0,05, concluded that there is influence of ROM exercise with rubber ball to hand muscle strength of non hemorrhagic stroke patient.

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a condition in which a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above normal where the systolic pressure reaches 140 mmHg and the diastolic pressure reaches 90 mmHg. One of the factors that influence hypertension is physical activity. Physical activity can be done at home, at work, at school and can do activities to fill spare time. Lack of physical activity can increase the risk of suffering from hypertension. This study aims to determine the relationship of physical activity levels with blood pressure in workers who working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method was correlation analytics with cross sectional approach. The research sample numbered 68 people using sampling  probability sampling technique. Data was collected by instruments IPAQ questionnaires and blood pressure measurements using sphygmomanometer. The results showed that most respondents had moderate physical activity in 31 people (45.6%) and blood pressure of respondents in the normal category of 26 people (38.2%). The test results used  spearman rank with a value of 0.004 α (0.05) and a value of r = -0.348 The correlation is negative, which means that the higher the level of physical activity, the lower the blood pressure. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of physical activity and blood pressure in workers who work from home during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Seririt Village area in 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of legsexercise and HbA1c levels against the value of ABI, Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy and foot skin moisture in diabetes. The research was conducted with pre-test post-test design without control group. This study with a simple random method, the total  sample of 60 people with diabetes in Puskesmas Abiansemal III Badung. Before legs exercise and massage VCO, an average of 8.3 foot sensation and 22.5% skin moisture foot. After legs 0+exercise and massage VCO for 6 weeks, leg sensations average 8.8 and 30.7% skin moisture. MANOVA test showed award legs exercise combined with massage VCO provide the same results with only massage provide VCO or legs exercise, but unlike the humidity foot where leggs exercise combined with massage VCO more effectively.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease in form metabolic disorders characterized by an increase in blood sugar levels more than normal limit. According to data on people with diabetes mellitus at the UPTD Public Health Center, North Kuta District, in 2019 there were 66 cases of people with diabetes mellitus served. In 2020 there was an increase from previously only 66 cases diabetes were served, increasing to 328 cases of diabetics who were served at the puskesmas. Meanwhile, in 2021 number cases of people with diabetes being served was 497 cases. This study aim to determine relationship between self care and quality of life in patients with diabetes mellitus at the UPTD Puskesmas Kuta Utara in 2022. Study used a research design using an observational or non-experimental design using a cross-sectional approach. Results of study using the chi-square test obtained the asymmp.sig (2-sided) value of 0.002. Because the value of asymp.sig (2-sided) is 0.000 0.05. It can be concluded that relationship between self care and quality of life in patients with type II diabetes mellitus with a contingency coefficient (CC) of 0.513 indicates a moderate relationship between self care variables and quality of life. the researchers recommend that patients always pay attention to health conditions and food, routinely carry out medication and at the Puskesmas to continue the program and educate patients with diabetes mellitus.
