Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan menguatnya sentimen keagamaan masyarakat terhadap Jamaah Tabligh di Bandung Barat yang berujung pada penolakan. Namun kasus tersebut berdampak positif bagi Jamaah Tabligh dengan meningkatnya jumlah pengikut mereka di Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, teori Peter Ludwig Berger dan Thomas Luckmann, Charles Young Glock dan Rodney William Stark, dan David G. Myers sebagai teori analisisnya. Temuan penelitian ini di antaranya pertama, pola keberagamaan Jamaah Tabligh secara mutualis saling mempengaruhi antara dimensi doktrin, ajaran, ritual, penghayatan dan pengamalan. Kedua, interaksi sosial yang terbentuk di antara keduanya terjalin secara dialektis dan asosiatif. Ketiga, perilaku meeka dipengaruhi oleh orientasi motivasional dan orientasi nilai, sehingga respon masyarakat Bandung Barat terbagi menjadi 3 (tiga) kategori, yaitu: 1) sub sistem budaya yang memunculkan penolakan dan prasangka sosial, 2) sub sistem sosial yang memunculkan penerimaan tanpa keterlibatan dan 3) sub sistem kepribadian yang memunculkan sikap penerimaan disertai keterlibatan.

Abstract

Multicultural education is the Indonesian education system that began even during the time of Ki Hajar Dewantara. This education system is able to end the view of differences between race, religion, ethnicity, culture, language and so on if it is implemented properly. In various cases in Indonesia, attitudes of intolerance often spice up the problem. Through this multicultural education, it is hoped that it will be able to provide a deep meaning to this attitude of tolerance. This research was conducted using the literary method obtained from library data, books, journals, websites, and all other library sources. The type of research the writer uses is qualitative research, where the research is carried out through a narrower but deeper scope. The author will describe tolerance as an attitude or nature of respect and respect for others and multicultural education that emphasizes the principles of equality. The author states four ways that can be taken in maintaining tolerance through multicultural education, namely deepening the meaning of tolerance in learning, providing discussions about various cultures, increasing awareness of the social sphere, and trying to open the thinking patterns of students so that echo chambers do not occur.

Abstract

There are so many attractiveness of advertising messages on why an advertisement is made. Generally, an advertisement was made to persuade the public or consumers candidates for buying and consuming a certain product. If previously, several advertisements for products mostly use the beautiful women with certain indicators such as white skin, long black hair, thin and sexy body; recently seems to show a trend by using the veiled woman (woman who wears hijab) as its models. There must be many interpretations regarding this symbol. For example about the dakwah messages on Muslim women's identity that are performed through their way of dressing up, religious commodification because the appearance of a Muslim woman will attract the attention of Muslim consumers, the deconstruction of the meaning of beauty, or a combination of several attractions of the advertising message that was represented by woman with the hijab. This article will analyze about those various symbol interpretations.
