Abstract

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a telecommunications technology that is able to pass the communication service in Internet Protocol networks so as to allow communicating between users in an IP network. However VoIP technology still has weakness in the Quality of Service (QoS). VOPI weaknesses is affected by the selection of the physical servers used. In this research, VoIP is configured on Linux operating system with Asterisk as VoIP application server and integrated on a Raspberry Pi by using wired and wireless network as the transmission medium. Because of depletion of IPv4 capacity that can be used on the network, it needs to be applied to VoIP system using the IPv6 network protocol with supports devices. The test results by using a wired transmission medium that has obtained are the average delay is 117.851 ms, jitter is 5.796 ms, packet loss is 0.38%, throughput is 962.861 kbps, 8.33% of CPU usage and 59.33% of memory usage. The analysis shows that the wired transmission media is better than the wireless transmission media and wireless-wired.

Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar antara siswa dengan guru meliputi kegiatan tatap muka dan evaluasi dalam bentuk ujian. Pada kondisi tertentu seperti kejadian bencana alam kabut asap atau wabah penyakit, proses belajar mengajar tidak dapat dilakukan secara langsung. Salah satu alternatif pengganti kegiatan tatap muka dalam proses belajar mengajar adalah SPADA (Sistem Pembelajaran Daring), yang sudah diresmikan secara nasional pada tahun 2014. Sistem daring ini memungkinkan siswa dan guru berada ditempat yang berbeda namun dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran secara online. Selain pembelajaran online, ujian atau evaluasi juga dapat dilakukan secara daring. Terdapat banyak aplikasi gratis yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membuat sistem ujian online atau dikenal dengan nama CBT. Namun tidak semua guru memahami dan mengetahui cara menggunakan dan membuat aplikasi CBT tersebut. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat kali ini dosen di Program Studi Teknik Komputer memberikan pelatihan dan workshop cara menggunakan dan membuat aplikasi CBT dengan cara online melalui aplikasi streaming Zoom Cloud. Pada kegiatan workshop yang dilaksanakan selama dua hari ini diikuti oleh kurang lebih 225 peserta guru SMA dan sederajat yang berasal dari berbagai kota di Riau dan sebagian kecil dari luar Riau dan luar Sumatera.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan informasi yang selalu up-to-date dan bisa diakses dimana saja dan kapan saja semakin meningkat. Hal ini menyebabkan perlu adanya layanan cloud berupa data storage yang high availability. Dengan adanya high availability, dapat membantu mengurangi terjadinya kegagalan server. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan tersebut, yaitu mengimplementasikan multi server data storage. Implementasi yang dilakukan menerapkan beberapa teknik seperti data replication, load balancing dan failover. Data replication menggunakan GlusterFS, load balancing menggunakan HAProxy dan failover menggunakan Heartbeat. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa rata – rata data berhasil di unggah 84.5 % dan di unduh kembali 100% dari data storage. Hasil keberhasilan metode failover didapatkan rata – rata keberhasilan 66.67% dalam melakukan peralihan meskipun salah satu server mengalami kegagalan, lalu penyebaran request dibagi secara merata 50:50 oleh load balancing. Sementara itu, performansi server menunjukkan bahwa delay pada layanan dikategorikan dalam “Sangat Bagus” dan throughput dikategorikan dalam “Bagus”. Kata kunci: data storage, high availability, data replication, load balancing, failover.

Abstract

Uji Kompetensi Ners Indonesia (UKNI) yaitu merupakan suatu proses untuk mengukur pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap, sesuai dengan standar profesi guna memberikan jaminan bahwa perawat mampu melaksanakan peran profesinya secara aman dan efektif di masyarakat. Uji kompetensi ners Indonesia menggunakan komputer (Computer Based Test/CBT). Sebelum melaksanakan UKNI yang akan dilaksanakan nasional di perguruan tinggi program studi keperawatan, mahasiswa terlebih dahulu melakukan try out uji kompetensi ners sebagai langkah untuk mempersiapkan diri. Hal ini juga terjadi di Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Riau (FKp-UR). Selama ini kegiatan try out dilaksanakan secara konvensional yaitu menggunakan kertas sebagai media dalam melaksanakannya, sehingga menyebabkan mahasiswa menjadi tidak terbiasa dalam melaksanakan UKNI berbasis CBT. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dibangun sebuah sistem CBT try out di FKp-UR, diharapkan dengan dibangunnya sistem tersebut, mahasiswa mampu membiasakan diri dalam menggunakan CBT pada saat melaksanakan UKNI. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa pada tahap pembangunan sistem menggunakan metode prototyping sebanyak empat kali putaran, sehingga kebutuhan dari user terhadap sistem dapat terpenuhi dengan maksimal. Abstract

Maturation process of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) palm oil can see by the changes of the skin color. Only FFB’s worth to processed that will be carried by truck to the factory. However, for this time FFB’s raw still carried to the factory. The result of this research is a web base application that organize by admin to organize data training and an android based application that can predict which FFB’s worth carrying or not to factory. The farmer just needs to take a picture of FFB’s, then the application will predict the label. The prediction result obtained is FFB’s worth to carried or not. The feature extraction that used is RGB color, then the numeric value that gotten will processed using algorithm. The algorithm that is used is k-nearest neighbor. Based on the test performed, application has reach the accuration 85% with K value = 7.

Abstract

Pekanbaru is the largest cities in Riau province with a very rapid rate of economic growth. This is affecting the business in the hotel sector developing rapidly in the city of Pekanbaru. Augmented Reality (AR) is an innovation that combines virtual and real objects. In this era, people tend to like applications with interactive visual displays. The application of AR technology in the form of LBS on hotels in the city of Pekanbaru based on android is expected to help immigrants or people who need hotel information when visiting the city of Pekanbaru. Users can search for hotels by tracking from the AR camera on the application and knowing the distance and route to get to the hotel. Testing of this application is done by Usability Testing through questionnaires and Blackbox Testing to test functional suitability. Based on the results of the questionnaire found that the application meets the criteria of usability testing where 78,67% of respondents agreed that the application is easy to understand. 71,3% of respondents agreed that the application has an efficient function. 76% of respondents agreed that the appearance of the application is easy to remember. 78,92% of respondents agreed that the application runs well without an error. 72,12% of respondents agreed that the application meets user satisfaction and 82,67% of users would suggest this application as a medium of hotel information in the city of Pekanbaru. Based on the results of Blackbox testing, the application can run smoothly according to existing functional needs.

Abstract

Toko XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan retail yang menyuplai perlengkapan kerja ke perusahaan minyak dan gas (migas). Selama ini proses penjualan di Toko XYZ berlangsung secara tatap muka. Hal ini dinilai oleh pemilik toko kurang efektif berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan Ibu Shanti, baik itu bagi penjual maupun pelanggan Toko Kre. Pencatatan data penjualan dan persediaan barang yang digunakan toko XYZ saat ini adalah pencatatan di microsoft excel. Dampak dari sistem ini adalah pemilik toko mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan barang yang menjadi prioritas, berapa jumlah optimum untuk melakukan pemesanan barang, dan kapan jumlah stok akan dilakukan pemesanan kembali. Berdasarkan masalah diatas maka akan dibuat sistem informasi penjualan dan pengendalian persediaan dengan menggunakan metode klasifikasi ABC. Klasifikasi ABC digunakan untuk mengelompokkan barang berdasarkan penjualannya, sedangkan untuk menentukan batas stok barang yang ada di toko digunakan metode reorder point.Setelah mengetahui jumlah stok maka dibutuhkanlah metode economic quantity order untuk mengetahui jumlah pemesanan optimum stok barang.Sistem ini juga memiliki fitur untuk mengingatkan pelanggan melakukan pembayaran berupa SMS gateway.Berdasarkan hasil pengujianUserAcceptanceTest(UAT) yang dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali, menyatakan bahwa seluruh kebutuhan pengguna telah terpenuhi dan diterima secara keseluruhan. Kemudian menurut pendapat customer dari performa sistem 80,21% sistem mudah digunakan, kualitas sistem baik dan menyediakan informasi yang akurat. Pihak toko juga dapat meminimalkan waktu untuk pencarian barang 40% - 50% lebih cepat.Kata kunci : sistem informasi penjualan, pengendalian persediaan, klasifikasi ABC, reorder point, economic quantity order, SMS gateway

Abstract

Currently, the whole world is struggling to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, many things were affected and changed the habits of all mankind in the world, including the field of Education which changed drastically. Previously, the teaching and learning process was mostly done face-to-face in the same place or location, but now it has to be done online. During the online learning process, many problems arise from both the teacher and student. One of them is that students get bored quickly, lack of student involvement and participation in the teaching and learning process. This is a challenge for teachers how to create an interesting and interactive learning atmosphere. However, the obstacle faced by teachers is that not all teachers understand and know what media can be used to make the learning process interesting and interactive. Based on these problems, in this Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat activity, training activities for making teaching devices using a Mentimeter have been carried out for teachers of SMK Taruna Persada Dumai which was held on September 25, 2021 with a total of 16 participants. The purpose of this activity is to prepare an interesting and interactive teaching and learning process to increase student involvement and participation when the teaching and learning process is carried out online and to help partners have basic understanding and skills in using interactive learning applications. The result of this activity is an evaluation of activities that have been carried out through a questionnaire, it is found that the material presented can add insight to the teacher, in accordance with the expected competencies so that later it can be applied to the teaching and learning process. In addition, participants felt comfortable following the training because of the positive interaction between participants and presenters and the way the material was presented in an interesting way. Based on the results of the questionnaire, recommendations were also obtained for the next activity in the form of training in making learning videos and using other learning media to support the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The use of servers that have to run continuously for 24 hours and running services generates a lot of logs. This requires that the system administrator in his checks still have something to do with the server. This research intends to design a Monitoring Log Server using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana) which can make it easier to read and analyze service logs on the server. The implementation in this research uses Ubuntu 18.04 Server, and a client server with SSH Putty service. From the results of the ELK Stack research, a solution in the form of Monitoring Log Server is obtained to make it easier for administrators to check every access log. Based on the results of the first and second scenario testing, the results obtained are successful in displaying data for each log that can be read by the administrator for a period of time based on data per day and per week. For the third scenario the administrator can see the level of accuracy of each access log. And the last scenario is the result to make it easier for administrators to audit or check every access log.
