Abstract

Healthy living culture is a concept of life by prioritizing various life activities based on a healthy lifestyle.  The purpose of this study was to determine canteen management based on a healthy living culture through the use of food vouchers as a transaction tool in elementary schools.  Food vouchers are a means of substituting money for students to buy food or drinks at the SD Muhammadiyah Simo Special Program canteen.  Thus, it is not possible for students to buy food outside the school environment. The data analysis technique of this research is carried out inductively which goes from fact to theory, with the intention of avoiding data manipulation. Then, to test the validity of the data, it was done using triangulation of data learning techniques. This research uses qualitative methods through interviews, documentation and observation.  The research found that there is a management of food vouchers in the canteen towards a culture of healthy living in an elementary school environment. Based on the results of interviews conducted at the SD Muhammadiyah Simo Special Program, the school implemented the use of food vouchers to minimize children buying food from outside of school.  That way, students' health will be more secure.  The parents also fully support the provision of food vouchers, they feel safer because the school canteen provides healthy food without harmful ingredients.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari masalah rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas II SD Negeri Trangsa 01. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui metode pembelajaran Index Card Match pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang melibatkan siswa kelas II SD Negeri Trangsan 01 berjumlah 16 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dilakukan dengan kolaborasi antara guru dan peneliti mulai dari perencanaan, persiapan hingga pembagian tugas pada saat pelaksanaan tindakan dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Index Card Match ditambah dengan PPT, video pembelajaran yang menarik dan pemberian reward kepada siswa. Hasil lainnya adalah penerapan metode pembelajaran Index Card Math dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan persentase rata-rata indikator aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I dan II. Pada pra-siklus rata-rata persentase indikator aktivitas belajar sebesar 49%, siklus 1 sebesar 68%, siklus II sebesar 89%, dengan demikian rata-rata persentase indikator aktivitas belajar siswa telah melampaui kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan yaitu 76% dan penelitian dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

The lack of appropriate use of models, methods, strategies and media applied by teachers is the background of this research. Based on field studies, this happened to fourth-grade students at Mentari Elementary School, which is an elementary school in Kartasura District. There are several learning media whose use is not maximized so that automatic learning will be more teacher-centered. This can result in low student learning outcomes and interest. This study aims to determine the effect of Powtoon interactive media with the Problem Based Learning model on the learning outcomes and interest of fourth grade students in elementary school plane figure material. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a Control Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The Cluster Random Sampling technique is used as a sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, tests, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used include normality test, homogeneity, t test and ANOVA test. From the research results it was found that the t-test showed the value of Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05 and the ANOVA test shows a Sig. 0.008 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, there is an influence of Powtoon interactive media with the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes and interest in plane figure material at Mentari Elementary School.
