Abstract

Computer laboratory is a means to support college pratikum. This equipment should always be in a ready-made state or suiTabel for use, whether computer or other means. In case of damage, it should be promptly resolved. To further accelerate the handling of damage, it is necessary a method to identify it. The Rought set method is a solution for this identification by means of several stages: Infomation System; Decision System; Equivalence Class; Descernibilty matrix and Descernibilty matrix of module D; Reduction; Generate Rules. The results of this study from 5 equipment in the computer laboratory STMIK Bina Nusantara Jaya Lubuklinggau after performing the steps of settlement by rough set method found 8 rules to get a new decision is whether the equipment is still worthy of use, repaired or replaced, then this method is very suiTabel applied in identifying the extent of damage.

Abstract

Abstract The application to various fields and even has a positive impact on the health sector. Utilization of information technology in the health sector can be used to improve better health services, one of which is to diagnose dental disease. The prevalence of dental and oral health problems in Indonesia is still very high. Of the 57.6% of the population who have dental and oral health problems, it turns out that only 10.2% access dental health services [1]. To overcome these limitations, it’s necessary to make a tool in the form of an expert system to assist the community in making an early diagnosis and preventing more severe diseases. This designed system is based on a website that is used by expert and users, built using the PHP programming language and using MySQL database storage. With the waterfall methodology used in system development, it produces more structured and clear stages. The expert system built results in the process of diagnosing dental and oral diseases using the Forward Chaining method. The research was conducted in the dental field at UPT Puskesmas Babat Toman using a qualitative descriptive method. Research produces a website to help people diagnose dental disease as soon as the symptoms are experienced. Keywords: website, expert system, dental disease, forward chaining Abstrak Penerapan ilmu komputer telah semakin meluas ke berbagai bidang bahkan memberikan dampak positif pula pada bidang kesehatan. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi pada bidang kesehatan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih baik, salah satunya adalah untuk melakukan diagnosa penyakit gigi. Prevalensi permasalahan kesehatan gigi dan mulut di Indonesia terbilang masih sangat tinggi. Dari 57,6 % penduduk bermasalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut ternyata yang mengakses pelayanan kesehatan gigi hanya 10,2 % [1]. Untuk mengatasi keterbatasan itu perlu dibuat alat bantu berupa sistem pakar untuk membantu kalangan masyarakat dalam mendiagnosa awal pencegahan penyakit yang lebih parah. Sistem yang dirancang ini berbasis website yang digunakan oleh pakar dan masyarakat, dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan menggunakan penyimpanan database MySQL. Dengan metodologi waterfall yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem, menghasilkan tahap-tahap yang lebih terstruktur dan jelas. Sistem Pakar yang dibangun menghasilkan proses diagnosis penyakit gigi dan mulut menggunakan metode Forward Chaining. Penelitian dilakukan di Bidang Poli Gigi pada UPT Puskesmas Babat Toman menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian menghasilkan suatu website untuk membantu masyarakat dalam mendiagnosa penyakit gigi secepat atas gejala yang dialami. Kata kunci: website, sistem pakar, penyakit gigi, forward chaining
