Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of workload, compensation, and satisfaction towards work discipline, the influence of workload, compensation, and satisfaction on employee performance, and the influence of workload, compensation, and job satisfaction on work performance through the discipline of employees of PT Indosawit Kecamatan Ukui Pelalawan District of Ukui Pelalawan. Target population in this study were 232 employees of PT. Indosawit Ukui Pelalawan District. Samples used were 147 people. Data was analized and interpreted using descriptive analysis method and verification analysis methods. Descriptive analysis method was used to describe the characteristics of respondents and the research variables, whereas the verification method was used to test the research hypotheses by using relevant statistical tests. While the verification method used in this study is the path Analyisis. Workload research results, Compensation and Satisfaction with work discipline employees of PT. Indosawit Ukui Pelalawan District of Riau Province. The workload of Employment, Compensation and Satisfaction influence on employee performance PT. Indosawit Ukui Pelalawan District of Riau Province. Workload affect the work performance through the discipline of work. Compensation effect on job performance through the discipline of employees and satisfaction effect on work performance through the discipline of employees of PT. Indosawit Ukui Pelalawan District of the Province. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh dari beban kerja, kompensasi, dan kepuasan terhadap disiplin kerja, menentukan pengaruh dari beban kerja, kompensasi, dan kepuasan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan menentukan pengaruh beban kerja, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kedisiplinan karyawan PT. Indosawit Kecamatan Ukui Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau. Target populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 232 karyawan PT. Indosawit Kecamatan Ukui Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau. Sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 147 orang. Data dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan metode analisis verifikasi. Metode analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik responden dan variabel penelitian, sedangkan metode verifikasi digunakan adalah path analysis untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian dengan uji statistik yang bersangkutan. Beban kerja, kompensasi, dan kepuasan mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan PT. Indosawit Kecamatan Ukui Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau. Beban kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan melalui disiplin kerja. Kompensasi mempengaruhi kinerja melalui kedisiplinan karyawan dan kepuasan berpengaruhi pada kinerja melalui displin karyawan PT. Indosawit Kecamatan Ukui Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau.

Abstract

The online learning in English language has been going along with the rapid development and diffusion of the information and communication techologies and shifted from being merely marginal trend to become popular, where the number of higher education institutions has dramatically increased to offer and led to extremely changes many aspect in learning societies. This study explores the technical abilities, technology accessibility and self-directed learning that contribute to student attitudes towards online English learning in predicting the continuance intention of the online learning. This study employed quantitative approach. There were 10 tertiary students interviewed as preliminary study, then 36 students were surveyed through questionnaire in a pilot test. The validated questionaire were used in this study on the 102 students. Rasch measurement model was utilized to validate the 25 items of questionnaire, meanwhile the Smart PLS ver. 2.0 was used to assess the regression of exogen to endogen variables. The study concluded that self- directed learning contributed to the attitude towards online English language learning as mediator to continuance intention of online learning. The ability and positive attitude in using digital technology must be present to support English learning current and forthcoming. The next research can focus more on how students adapt to a variety of rapidly changing technologies to support their English skills.
