Abstract

Siswa sekolah dasar rata-rata berumur 7–12 tahun, berdasarkan teori Piaget termasuk dalam tahap operasional konkret. Siswa pada tahap tersebut lebih mudah memahami materi yang konkret, salah satunya menggunakan gambar. Mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar sudah seharusnya menguasai materi sekolah dasar berdasarkan tahap perkembangan siswanya. Salah satu materi sekolah dasar yang sering dianggap sulit adalah pecahan. Sehingga pembelajaran pecahan membutuhkan bantuan berupa gambar untuk memudahkan siswanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi piktorial mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan representasi mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar sangat beragam. Tidak semua mampu merepresentasikan operasi hitung pecahan dengan tepat

Abstract

Problem solving is one of the objectives of learning mathematics. Not only for school students but also college student, especially PGSD students. The level of students' ability to solve problems can be seen using SOLO taxonomy. Using the SOLO taxonomy, the quality of students' answers to a problem can be analyzed based on the complexity of understanding. SOLO's taxonomy consists of 5 levels, namely (1) Pre-Structural Level, (2) Uni-Structural Level, (3) Multi-Structural Level, (4) Relational Level, (5) Expanded Abstract Level. This study uses qualitative research that describes the ability to solve the problem solving linear inequality system of two variables in PGSD students using SOLO taxonomy. The results of this study indicate that the ability of PGSD students to solve problem solving problems varies. From the five SOLO taxonomic levels, there are PGSD students who meet levels 2 to 5, namely the Uni-Structural Level, Multi-Structural Level, Relational Level, Expanded Abstract Level. There are no students who meet level 1 in the SOLO taxonomy namely Pre-Structural Level.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made major changes in the teaching and learning process in Indonesia. Online learning that is suddenly implemented, makes the teacher have to work hard to make learning that does not burden students and does not reduce the essence of learning itself. Various applications are used, one of which is google forms. This study uses a descriptive approach with the aim of describing the level of student interest in online learning using google forms. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri Turi 1 in the 2019/2020 academic year consisting of 12 male students and 15 female students. The data collection technique used in this study used a questionnaire. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be seen that 19 students or 70% of students showed a very good predicate on their interest in learning in learning using Google Forms. As many as 8 students or 30% of students showed a good predicate on their interest in learning in learning using Google Forms. There are no students who have sufficient or less interest in learning using Google Forms.

Abstract

Perkalian adalah salah satu konsep matematika yang penting dikuasai oleh siswa sekolah dasar. Konsep perkalian juga tidak terlepas dari konsep nilai tenpat. Keduanya saling berkaitan sehimgga bisa diajarkan secara bersama. Salah satu usaha untuk menanamkan konsep perkalian dan nilai tempat adalah dengan menggunakan media manipulatif. Media manipulatif merupakan sarana pembelajaran yang dapat dibalik, dipotong, digeser, dipindahkan, digambar, dipilah atau dikelompokkan. Media manipulatif digunakan karena sesuai dengan tugas perkembangan siswa sekolah dasar. Tahap perkembangan kognitif siswa sekolah dasar menurut Piaget berada pada operasional konkret. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran sudah seharusnya melibatkan siswa untuk melakukan kegiatan untuk memahamkan suatu konsep. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan yang betujuan untuk menghasilkan media manipulatif ramah lingkungan pada perkalian bilangan bulat dan nilai tempat. Pengembangan ini menggunakan langkah-langkah pengembangan Plomp. Langkah pengembangan Plomp terdiri dari 4 tahap, diantaranya (1) Tahap Investigasi, yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan (2) Tahap Perencanaan, (3) Tahap Realisasi dan (4) Tahap Tes, Evaluasi, dan Revisi. Namun, karena adanya keterbatasan waktu dan tempat, penelitian ini di batasi sampai tahap ketiga, yaitu tahap realiasi. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini berupa media manipulatif perkalian dan nilai tempat. Media ini terbuat dari bahan ramah lingkungan yang banyak dibuang begitu saja yaitu tutup botol. Tutup botol berisi angka dan memiliki warna yang berbeda-beda untuk setiap nilai tempatnya. Hal ini dilakukan agar siswa meyadari bahwa pembelajaran tentang nilai tempat berkaitan dengan pembelajaran perkalian sehingga membentuk konsep bahwa keduanya adalah dua hal yang saling berkaitan.

Abstract

Bagi mahasiswa calon guru (MCG), memiliki netiquette yang kuat di era digital merupakan keharusan karena ini akan menjadi kebiasaan yang baik. Apalagi bagi yang sudah lulus dari kampus dan berkarir menjadi guru, hal itu akan melekat menjadi karakter yang kokoh. Sesuai peran dan fungsi guru, segala hal yang dilakukan guru merupakan teladan bagi siswa, termasuk netiquette.  Netiquette merupakan adab dalam menggunakan internet yang diterima oleh umum atau kelompok. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan deskripsi secara rinci terkait netiquette bagi mahasiswa calon guru (MCG) agar menjadi panduan dalam menggunakan internet. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review yang mengkaji berbagai dokumen dari artikel jurnal, buku, majalah, website dan sejenisnya. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar analisis dokumen. Hasil data instrumen kemudian ditabulasi dan direduksi menjadi kesimpulan penting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menggunakan internet, mahasiswa calon guru (MCG) harus memperhatikan tujuan, waktu, jenis website, dan penggunaan informasi. Sedangkan, untuk berkomunikasi menggunakan media sosial dan email, mahasiswa calon guru (MCG) juga harus memperhatikan penerima, tujuan berkomunikasi, isi pesan, waktu mengirim pesan, dan cara menulis pesan

Abstract

As an effort by the Ministry of Education and Culture to improve the quality of human resources, an independent learning policy was made. The quality of Indonesian human resources is still a challenge to solve because the results of surveys from international institutions such as PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) and TIMSS (Trend in International Mathematics and Science Study) still show a protruding ranking. In independent learning there are four main policies, namely (1) freedom of student assessment, (2) national exams replaced by AKM (Minimum Competency Assessment) and character surveys, (3) RPP (Learning Implementation Plan) one sheet, and (4) PPDB system (New Student Admissions) zoning. Therefore, to increase the success of implementing independent learning, it is necessary to have the ability of teachers in the teaching process which results in an independent student learning process. This article uses the literature review method to assess the teacher's abilities. The data collection method uses analysis of data sources obtained from various forms such as journal articles, books, Ministry of Education and Culture policies, and statutory documents. The results of this study indicate that to implement independent learning teachers must master pedagogical skills, skills to adapt teaching styles to student learning styles, skills to master online learning, and skills to master learning strategies. In addition, teachers must also master the principles of independent learning, forms of independent learning, and student learning activities.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects studied by students from elementary school to university level. Therefore, mathematics becomes one of the scientific foundations at the basic level. There are some errors that are most often found in learning mathematics in the early grades of elementary school. One of them is related to understanding symbols, place values, process errors and mistakes in doing calculations. The problem is caused because the learning model provided by the teacher is still abstract. The purpose of this research is to provide alternatives learning option with to the design of realistic mathematics education learning or learning based on real life on multiplication material. This writing uses the study of literature from various scientific sources related to the problem. It is hoped that educators can apply mathematical learning models based on the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI) or RME (Realistic Mathematics Educatio) non multiplication material by using learning designs based on students' real lives or learning designs. The article shows that there is potential for PMRI design to be used to improve the multiplication ability of elementary school students.

Abstract

Geometry is one of the main materials for learning mathematics in elementary schools. So that students as prospective elementary school teachers should have mastered the concept of geometry. In addition, prospective elementary school teacher students should also know the level of students' geometric thinking. The goal, before the teacher knows the level of thinking of students, he should know the level of geometric thinking he has. The reference used in looking at the geometric thinking level is the Van Hiele thinking level. This study aims to identify the leveling of the geometric thinking stage of elementary school teacher students using the Van Hiele thinking level. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. A written test questionnaire from the Van Hiele Geometry Test (VHGT) was used as an instrument in this study. The results showed that the geometric thinking level of prospective elementary school teacher students only reached level 1 or the introduction level.
