Abstract

This research examines the effectiviness of phonic method on reducing the level of speech delay in children aged 4-5 years at Integrated Islamic Kinderganten Al Ummah Gresik. Phonic method is a developed by optimizing all language skills, listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Speech delay occurs when the level of speech development of a child is below the level of quality of speech development of normal children in general according tho their age. This research uses description of quantitative action research type, one group pre-test and post-test design. This research uses a non-probability sampling technique whit a suturated sampling technique. The populations were 10 children and the sample were 6 children in the severe speech delay category and 4 children in the light speech delay category. The data analysis technique used the mann-whitney test analysis. The analysis show that there is an effect of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay in the severe speech delay group. Whereas in the light speech delay group stated that there was no effect of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay. Furthermore, the gain score calculation also shows tha there is no difference in the effectiveness of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay in both the severe speech delay category and the light speech delay category. This suggest tha further researchers provide treatment by experts or people who are experts in their fields, and it is advisable to choose other types of research, such as experimental research, so that the result are more comprehensive.

Abstract

The decrease in subject performance is characterized by error in writing reports, reporting of late analysis results, and lack of care in work. This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work family conflict on the performance of employees of the production laboratory I and III of PT Petrokimia Gresik. The type of research used is quantitative with a causal correlation type, validity and reliability testing using the validity of the content and the reliability of the consistency of the combined grains. The population used in this study was 85 people. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling of 85 people. The research measuring instruments are compiled based on theories from Koopmans for performance, Reid & Nygren for workloads, and Greenhaus & Beutell for work family conflict using a Likert scale with 5 answer choices. The data analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression test. The results of this study show that workload & work family conflict has a simultaneous influence on performance. The subjects in this study had the categories of medium performance, medium workload, and moderate level of work family conflict. Based on these results, it was found that there was a negative influence between workload and work family conflict on performance.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh Body Dissatisfaction dengan Kepercayaan Diri pada anggota senam. Penelitian ini menganalisis data yang didapat dari sebanyak 45 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Skala Body Dissatisfaction dan Skala Kepercayaan Diri. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil Uji menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh signifikan body dissatisfaction terhadap kepercayaan diri pada anggota senam di sanggar senam arnez. Hasil norma tingkat Body Dissatisfaction dan Kepercayaan Diri dari 45 subyek tersebut berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji F menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,460 yang artinya H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh dan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan dari variabel Body Dissatisfaction terhadap Kepercayaan Diri pada anggota senam di sanggar senam arnez. Hal tersebut mungkin karena terdapat variabel lain yang lebih memberi pengaruh terhadap variabel Body Dissatisfaction.

Abstract

Mahasiswa pecinta alam merupakan suatu organisasi intra kampus yang sebagian besar kegiatannya berorientasi di alam bebas dan termasuk olahraga yang ekstrim. Tak jarang para anggota selalu berada dalam tekanan saat berkegiatan, sehingga tiap individu anggota pecinta alam dituntut untuk memiliki keberanian serta ketangguhan mental yang tinggi. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara empirik pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap ketangguhan mental mahasiswa pecinta alam.Populasi merupakan mahasiswa pecinta alam di universitas yang berada di Gresik. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesionerketangguhan mental dan efikasi diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi dirimempengaruhi ketangguhan mental dengan nilai sig 0,000. Berdasrkan nilai R Square sebesar 0.815, yang berarti variabel efikasi diri memberikan sumbangan sebesar 81.5% terhadap variabel ketangguhan mental. Terdapat nilai koefisien regresi bernilai positif 1.207 yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dan ketangguhan mental.
