Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan peserta didik dan faktor-faktor penyebab dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep kelas V SD Negeri Ciberem. Jenis dan pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penilitian ini adalah tes, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada subyek penelitian kemampuan pemahaman konsep atas mengalami sedikit kesulitan mendefinisikan konsep dan menyelesaikan soal cerita. Pada tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep mengalami kesulitan dalam mendefinisikan konsep, menyelesaikan soal cerita, dan operasi hitung. Pada tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep bawah mengalami kesulitan mendefinisikan konsep, mengklasifikasikan objek, menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi, membuat contoh dan non contoh penyangkal, mengaplikasikan konsep atau algoritma pemecahan masalah, dan operasi hitung. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab yaitu faktor minat, motivasi, intelegensi, orang tua, dan guru. Kata Kunci: kesulitan menyelesaikan soal, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the influence of mathematical domino game against cognitive aspects of mathematics learning outcomes, 2) the influence of mathematical domino game against affective aspects of mathematics learning outcomes 3) the influence of mathematical domino game against psychomotor aspects of mathematics learning outcomes. The research method using experimental research methods to design randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The samples in this study using cluster random sampling. The population in this study is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 and 2 Kalikabong second semester of academic year 2014 / 2015. The experimental classes will be treated mathematics with math domino game material fractions, while grade control using conventional learning. Instruments cognitive aspects of learning outcomes research using test descriptions, research instruments affective aspects of learning outcomes using a questionnaire, and research instruments psychomotor aspects of learning outcomes using performance assessment sheet. Analysis of survey data using statistical analysis independent sample t test with SPSS program. The results showed: 1) a game of dominoes mathematical better effect on the results of the cognitive aspects of learning mathematics, 2) math domino game better effect on the results of the affective aspects of learning mathematics 3) math domino game better effect on psychomotor aspects of mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the attitude of curiosity and learning achievement of students in mathematics through realistic mathematics learning models. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles, one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of the study were students of grade V SD UMP. The stages of activities in each cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Curiosity data collection using the student's curiosity observation sheet while collecting students' learning achievement data using an evaluation sheet given at the end of each meeting. Based on the results of the study show a realistic mathematical learning model (PMR) can increase the attitude of curiosity and student achievement on the material around and flat area in grade IV SD UMP.
