Abstract

Chitosan, a product of chitin deacetylation, has been used for various purposes in various fields of agriculture, food, biomedical, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. The use of chitosan in a pure state is limited by its poorly soluble in various solvents other than in aqueous weak acids. Moreover, chitosan films are brittle and fragile that it is difficult to use in the form of films for various applications. Long-term goal of this research is to obtain chitosan which is elastic by the addition of plasticizer. The specific target of this research is to obtain information about the effect of adding RBDPO and glycerol as plasticizer on the characteristics of the mechanical properties of chitosan. The research method was carried out in the laboratory experiments. Design research is conducted on a wide variety of compositions blending chitosan and plasticizer of RBDPO and glycerol on the mechanical properties including tensile strength and elongation. The relsulted blended sample is cast in the form of thin films and characterized by tensile strength test. The test results showed that the mechanical properties of tensile strength reaches optimum conditions where the plasticizer content of 30%, while the extension increases with increasing of plasticizer content.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kelayakan LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi fluida statis di MAN 2 Meulaboh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan jenis ADDIE. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar validitas pakar konten, penyajian dan bahasa. Data penelitian yang didapatkan dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase. Hasil uji kelayakan LKPD oleh pakar konten mencapai 84,10%, pakar penyajian mencapai 88,21%, dan pakar bahasa mencapai 89,17%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan LKPD berbasis PBL layak diterapkan untuk jenjang SMA/MA.

Abstract

Sistem Pendidikan nasional yang diselenggarakan di Aceh sesuai dengan Qanun berdasarkan pada nilai-nilai budaya islami membuat sekolah melaksanakan pengembangan potensi siswa dengan mengedepankan nilai-nilai islami. Hal tersebut dapat terwujud salah satunya dengan menggunakan bahan ajar atau modul yang terintegrasi. Berdasarkan dari hasil observasi pada salah satu sekolah di SMA di Banda Aceh menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan hanya buku paket fisika yang belum terintegrasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar modul berbasis integrasi islam dan sains yang valid, praktis dan efektif pada materi gerak lurus. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan menggunakan model Sugiyono. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar validasi, observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon peserta didik serta soal pre-tes dan pos-tes. Uji coba di lakukan pada kelas X MIPA 3 dengan jumlah 29 orang peserta didik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kevalidan dengan kategori sangat valid, untuk kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil observasi didapat dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, sedangkan untuk keefektifan dilihat dari uji N-gain pre-tes dan pos-tes mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 0,67 pada kategori sedang dan mendapat respon yang positif dari hasil analisis angket peserta didik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul materi gerak lurus yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan media buletin pada materi pencemaran lingkungan, (2) menguji kelayakan media buletin yang telah dikembangkan, dan (3) mengetahui tanggapan guru terhadap media buletin yang telah dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research And Development /RD) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik  pengumpulan data diperoleh dari angket validasi media buletin dan angket kelayakan media buletin oleh guru. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket validasi media buletin dan lembar angket kelayakan media buletin oleh guru. Teknik analisis data diperoleh dari lembar angket yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa persentase rata-rata validasi dari kedua validator ahli materi sebesar 91,07% termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak, dan nilai persentase rata-rata dari ahli media sebesar 75% (kategori layak). Persentase rata-rata kelayakan dari tanggapan guru terhadap media buletin adalah 96,43% termasuk kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah media buletin yang telah dikembangkan layak dan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi pencemaran lingkungan

Abstract

The activity of using mercury in gold mining in Alue Baro Village, Meukek District is carried out freely so that it has a negative impact on the environment and the health of the miners. This study aims to determine the level of mercury in the hair of artisanal gold miners in Alue Baro village by referring to the reference that has been set by WHO. The data sample collection was carried out by taking 6 hair samples from the Alue Baro village gold miners who were selected with various types of work, namely gold processing, waste processing and waste waste until the time of the interview with a minimum working period of 1 year with sample codes R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 as control samples. The six samples were analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry equipped with a Mercury Analyzer which showed results, respectively, 1.01; 2.38; 1.65; 1.35; 1.66; and 0.64 ppm. The results of this study indicate that all hair samples have mercury levels above the mercury threshold that has been set by WHO, namely 1 ppm. High levels of mercury in hair samples were analyzed on exposure to mercury. Further research was conducted to analyze other metals contained in the hair of gold miners in Alue Baro village

Abstract

Project Based Learning (PjBL) has many advantages but has not been widely implemented, let alone linked to entrepreneurial activities in schools. Entrepreneurship in schools, especially those taught by chemistry teachers, still has not produced crafts that link chemical knowledge therein. The aim of the research carried out was to analyze how much influence the application of the PjBL model has in improving students' creative thinking skills and entrepreneurial interest. The research method uses a one group pretest-posttest design approach. The research sample was selected using proportional sampling with data collection techniques, namely test techniques and distributing questionnaires which were then analyzed using the paired sample t test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is a positive significant difference between before and after treatment. This shows an increase in students' creative thinking abilities and entrepreneurial interest after implementing the PjBL learning model.
