Abstract

Background : Anemia is an unresolved nutritional problem in Indonesia. Data from the Babakan Health Center reported that 19.1% of adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram had anemia, while according to WHO the acceptable threshold was <5%. One of the causes is the lack of knowledge about anemia, low adherence to taking blood booster supplements and there is no media to monitor the intake and adherence. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to analyze "The effect of nutrition education using anti-anemia logbooks on the knowledge and nutritional intake of anemic adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram". Methods : Type of research is an analytical experiment with a quasi-experimental design using a non equivalent and non rendomized control group pretest posttest design. Population: all grade VIII anemia adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram totaling 30 people and a sample of 28 people who were divided into experimental and control groups. Results : In the knowledge variable, there was a significant effect on the group using the logbook and the group without the logbook and the increase was significantly different between the two groups with p = 0.034. In the intake variable, providing education with the Anti Anemia Logbook (Go Mia) had a significant effect on energy and protein consumption with a p value of <0.05, however, the group that did not use the logbook (control group) did not show a significant effect, as did intake. Fe did not show a significant effect in either the experimental group or the control group. Conclusion : Nutrition education using logbook is effective to increase knowledge, energy and protein intake but not effective to increase iron intake.

Abstract

Nutrition less in infants is a health problem around the world especially the countries develop. In Indonesia nutritional problems less in toddlers about 19.6%. Nutritional problems have little effect on the low quality of human resources, especially the impact of toddlers who are malnourished by poor brain development, unoptimal physical growth, and metabolic developments (the Kemenkes RI, 2014). The current state of nutrition especially in children is still ematitiate. Given the impact of the nutrient less widespread, it is necessary to do a handling of PMT in the form of sausages using local food that is effective in increasing the weight of children with less nutritional nutrition.Metodelogi. In this study used experimental research Desan with a complete random draft (RAL) One treatment comparison of cork fish with composite flour 75%: 25% 80%: 20% 85%: 15%. Data processing. Processing of data obtained from observations presented in the form of tables, to find out the nature of organoleptic (aroma, flavor, texture and color) in each addition of the sausage making materials processed and analyzed using a statistical analysis of One Way Anova at a trust level of 95% (A = 0.05). If there is a significant impact, the data is analyzed further using the Tukey test to see which treatment is causing the difference. Research results. The comparison of cork fish and composite flour is significant effect on the taste color of texture and aroma. The PMT of Gasuhiru sausage contains 262KKL and 16.72 gr of protein in 100gr. Gasuhiru sausage receiving 83.3% well received. Conclusion: The most liked sausage is a comparison of 85%: 15%. The administration of PMT provides a significant effect on children's weight loss and is 3 times greater than the Conntrol group.

Abstract

Background. Children with autism are more often reported to have digestive problems. Gluten and casein are difficult to digest so autistic children must avoid preparations made from these two proteins. Maknan is quite popular with children including autistic sufferers, namely snacks such as cookies. But not many cookies are intended for autistic patients, cookies that do not contain gluten and casein. The goal is to determine the effect of a combination of flour (purple sweet potato, gude beans, pumpkin) on the organoleptic properties, nutritional content, and acceptance of udela cookies in autistic children                                     Research Methods. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 levels of treatment each of 4 repetitions, namely a combination of flour (gude beans, purple sweet potato and pumpkin) t1 (30%; 30%; 40%), t2 (40% ; 30%; 30%), t3 (50%; 30%; 20%) and t4 (60%; 30%; 10%). Research Result. Combination of flour (purple sweet potato, gude beans and pumpkin) in udela cookies had a significant effect on color (p <α 0.05) but did not have a significant effect on texture, smell and taste (p> α 0, 05). Water content test results (5.15%), ash content (2.29%), protein (6.18%), fat (17.31%) higher than the quality requirements in Indonesian national standards and carbohydrates (69.09 %) lower than the quality requirements in Indonesian national standards. Test of acceptance of 9 people (60%) in the good category and 6 people (40%) in the less category. Conclusion. Based on the results of the research conducted. Autism that gets udela cookies given for a day shows that the category of autistic acceptance is included in the good category of (60%) and the category is less than (40%). In the category of less due to several factors such as autism, given cookies must adapt to new foods given and due to the study of 2 sick autistic children.

Background. The organization of food is one form of hospital nutrition service. The success of the food system can be attributed to food scraps. The rest of the patient's food causes the missing costs and impacts on the budget used. Research Methods. The organization of food is one form of hospital nutrition service. The success of the food system can be attributed to food scraps. The rest of the patient's food causes the missing costs and impacts on the budget used. Research Result. The results of this study show the results of multiple regression logistic tests that have a significant value of 0.068 (p> 0.05). This means that there is no influence of age, sex, type of illness and taste of food against the cost of missing ordinary food scraps. Conclusion. Age, sex, disease type and food taste assessment contribute 13.2% to the lost cost of food scraps.

Abstract

The elderly groups to be infected with COVID-19 with a relatively high mortality rate, so they need attention. This study aims to determine the determinants of factors that affect the mortality of COVID-19 patients in the elderly in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The design of this study was cross-sectional with a purposive sampling technique, namely all elderly patients diagnosed with COVID-19 with PCR swab (+) who were treated in hospitals throughout NTB Province during the period March to December 2020. the total sample is 569 people. The variables of this study were age, gender, cluster, treatment status and, history of comorbidities. Data were analyzed using bivariate analysis using Chi-Square and multivariate with Logistic Regression. The results of the study were that most of the elderly COVID-19 patients were in the early 60-70 years (81.7%), the sex was primarily male 339 people (59.6%), without cluster 484 people (85.5%), history of comorbidities with comorbid 470 people (82.6%) and recovered after treatment 454 people (79.8%). COVID-19 patients in the elderly mainly died aged 60-70 years 85 people (73.9%), male sex, namely 71 people (61.7%), without cluster 107 people (94.7%), and 62% died without comorbidities as many as 72 people due to COVID-19. There is a significant relationship between clusters and comorbidities on the death of the elderly infected with COVID-19. Comorbidities (with comorbidities) are the most dominant influencing mortality in the elderly by 60.9% based on logistic regression model analysis involving four variables affecting the mortality of COVID-19 in the elderly,  and other factors influence the rest.
