Abstract

Hermeneutic methods are a way to understand and interpret sentences or the contents of a sentence. Hermeneutics examines problems, methods and objectives of interpretation or interpretation. This science helps to determine the true meaning of the text accurately and includes factors such as history, culture, cultural diversity, language, and the distance between the formulation of the contents of the text, the interpreter, the context, and others. Hermeneutics is also seen as a science of aids in formulating rules, principles, and methodologies for interpreting religion, scripture and its relationship with society. The interpretation of the Qur‘an has been going on since the early era of Islam, that is, from the time of the Messenger of Allah, the Companions, tabi'in (followers), tabi 'al-tabi'in (followers of followers), and the ulama to the present. Qur‘anic science and the Qur'anic exegesis began to develop since the 2nd century oh hijri and so did the interpretation method of the Qur‘an. This study attempts to explain the use of hermeneutic methods as a form of philosophical interpretation in understanding the Qur‘an. This study also examines the use of hermeneutics in the West, for example in interpreting the Bible as a comparative analysis

Abstract

The study concluded that based on the results of testing by using multiple regression analysis, there are four variables that significantly affect the excess return variables, they are: BV,DER, ROE and SWBI. Besides, they are other variables such as PER, nflation, and exchange rate had no significant effect on the variable excess stock returns. Thus, it can be assumed that the JII firms during the study period was fulfilling aspects of sharia compliance. The indications are book value can represent the real value of the assets of the company itself and the highest ratio of debt to asset is 2.84%. meanwhile, the highest determination of Islamic National Council is 33%DOI: 10.15408/aiq.v3i1.2501

Abstract

On its arrival in Jambi, Islam had interacted with the indigenous culture. Through pacifique penetration, Islam influenced local society and socio-cultural institutions. Islam used the traditional poem of seloka which is a form of the Malay spoken literature as a medium to spread out the Islamic values and thoughts. Islam even became the main source in establishing the Jambi's local culture and wisdom. The study explains da’wah in local wisdom of traditional poem of seloka (seloko, Jambinese) Jambi Malay.  Using qualitative method by reading and learning the main research sources of descriptive data which were manuscripts of traditional poem of seloka. Interview with resource persons who were competent on content and value of the poems were also conducted to enhanche the  interpretation on data. The  conclusion of the study finds that the da’wah movement based on local wisdom brought about tightly bound relation between Islam and Jambi Malay Culture; Islamic value were modified into traditional law that commonly use seloka. The reality shows there is harmony between  the local culture and the Quran  and Sunnah.      Islam mempengaruhi masyarakat dan institusi sosial-budaya setempat. Dengan memanfaatkan seloko adat yang merupakan salah satu bentuk sastera lisan Melayu, bahasa sastera ini menjadi alat penyemai nilai dan ajaran Islam, sehingga pada akhirnya agama ini menjadi sumber utama bagi pembentukan adat dan kearifan lokal. Artikel ini menjelaskan dakwah dalam kearifan lokal seloko adat Melayu Jambi. Islam sejak awal kedatangannya telah berinteraksi dengan budaya setempat. Lewat penetrasi damai (pacifique penetration), Menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini berupaya mempelajari dan memahami naskah seloko adat dan kaitannya dengan kearifan lokal dan dakwah Islam. Wawancara ke beberapa tokoh penting dilakukan sebagai bagian dari pengayaan data untuk memahami  lebih lanjut mengenai isi dan nilai seloko. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa akibat adanya gerakan dakwah yang berkearifan lokal dalam budaya Melayu Jambi terdapat hubungan yang erat antara Islam dan budaya masyarakat melayu Jambi; seperti  adanya modifikasi nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam hukum adat yang umumnya menggunakan bahasa seloko. Realitas itu menunjukan adanya harmoni antara budaya lokal dengan Alquran dan Sunnah Rasul.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the media transformation carried out by Kompas TV using the concept of mediamorphosis, which Roger Fidler initiated. The question in this research is how is the process of coevolution, convergence, and complexity in Kompas TV. This type of research is qualitative and uses content analysis. The object of this research is Kompas TV communication media accessed through kompas.tv.com. This study indicates that Kompas TV has changed its image and brand and provides digital optimization and automation services with quality, fast and safe artificial intelligence technology. So that it is a virtual product provider connected to PPOB that a broad audience can access. Kompas TV carries out media convergence activities: co-optation by combining print information technology and electronic media with analog formats into digital. In business, this corporate merged between Kompas Gramedia and PT. Trans Corporation in share ownership of PT. Cipta Megaswara Television. There is a change in habits in today's society from the conventional way of reading newspapers and watching television broadcasts to an instant and fast way by utilizing the development of digital technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the dynamics and problems of Parmusi's preaching communication on the NTT-Timor Leste border, Parmusi's efforts to overcome the problems of da'wah communication at the NTT-Timor Leste border, and Islamic quality improvement after the Da'i overcome the problem of da'wah communication on the NTT-Timor Leste border. The research method used is a qualitative approach with an interpretive research paradigm. The sources of primary data were obtained from observation, Focuss Group Discussion (FGD), interview with the mandalam on 6 (six) da'i Parmusi and 9 (nine) worshipers. Secondary data sources were obtained from the Qur'an & Hadist, documents and literature studies on journals, e-books, books, web, and online media. Data analysis techniques use the Interactive Model Miles & Huberman. The results showed that the dynamics and problems of da'wah communication in the NTT-Timor Leste border area are the lack of quantity of preachers, the low level of education and the religious quality of Muslims, especially converts, the lack of mosques which hinders congregational/Friday prayers. The activities of the Parmusi Da'wah Caravan in Rote Island and Kera Island, as well as the Rainmanuk subdistrict Belu, in the context of the inauguration of the construction of the Islamic Center and the formation of the Parmusi Madani Village running smoothly. Parmusi's efforts to overcome the problems of da'wah communication on the NTT-Timor Leste border are by increasing the preaching schedule through lectures, recitations and Friday sermons. Islamic quality improvement after the Da'i overcame the problem of da'wah communication on the NTT-Timor Leste border significantly increased. Many muslims pray in mosques, the recitation assemblies are crowded with worshipers, and converts are increasing in number.
