Abstract

AbstractCovid-19 Pandemic has changed the teaching and learning processes of all education levels from offline classroom into online classroom. This situation forces all schools and universities to be familiar with blended learning. It is such an advantage for Universities that have already implemented blended learning in their teaching and learning processes. The full implementation of blended learning raises various perceptions from both lecturer and students. This study employed a qualitative research method to investigate the students’ perceptions on the implementation of blended learning in English for Mathematics. This study was conducted by using a qualitative method to investigate the students’ voices on the implementation of blended learning in English for Mathematics class. Six student participants who attended English for Mathematics in English Language Education Department of a state university were involved in this study. To gather the data, the researchers conducted an interview with the participants at the end of the semester. The interview was conducted in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) session. It is found that most students have positive perceptions toward the implementation of blended learning in their teaching and learning processes. The participants stated that the implementation of blended learning in their class facilitates students to deepen their understanding about the materials, blended learning promotes independent learning, and blended learning enables students to experience various kinds of learning media.

Abstract

This research explored the pronunciation errors produced by the students in their vlog projects and the linguistics factors that contributed to their errors. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected from the vlogs made by the students which were uploaded on Youtube channels. The participants were 30 students of the Air Transport Management study program in STTKD Yogyakarta. The data collection technique was done by observation and documentation. The data were analyzed by applying qualitative data analysis. The data were classified using the theory from Bonaventura, Herron, and Menzel (2000). The results showed that there were 67 pronunciation errors existed in the vlog projects. The mispronunciations could be categorized into three types of errors, namely: the problems of non-native sounds as many as 34%, the carry-over of pronunciation regularities from the mother tongue as many as 45%, and the over-generalization of target language (L2) regularities as many as 21%. It is expected that the findings can help students diagnose their errors and mistakes in English pronunciation and later can motivate them to improve their English proficiencies. Besides, it can help the teachers develop strategies to minimize students’ errors in pronunciation.

Abstract

AbstrakSumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan modal atau aset yang sangat berharga, sehingga menjadi faktor penting untuk mendukung perkembangan bandara. Banyak pegawai yang memiliki pendidikan yang tidak sesuai dengan keahlian atau kemampuannya di bawah tingkat profesional. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan studi pustaka. Wawancara dilakukan dengan tiga narasumber yaitu staf operasional Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta (YIA). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah minimisasi data, triangulasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa operator Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta (YIA) dari latar belakang yang berbeda akan menemukan lingkungan kerja di mana mereka dapat memaksimalkan efisiensi mereka dan memiliki kesempatan untuk bekerja dan mengembangkan pengembangan karir di industri penerbangan tanpa hambatan dari profesi yang berbeda. dari pekerjaan mereka saat ini di Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta. Selain itu, upaya perusahaan dalam memberikan peluang, kebijakan perusahaan terhadap operator Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta dinilai sangat baik dan adil tanpa memandang latar belakang pendidikan berbagai pendidikan staf operasional Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta.Kata Kunci: Latar Belakang Pendidikan, Karyawan Operasional, Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta AbstractHuman resources (HR) are extremely valuable capital or assets, they are becoming an important factor supporting the development of the airport. This study used qualitative research methods, data collection techniques by interview and literature review. Interviews were conducted with three sources, namely the operations staff of Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA). The data analysis techniques used in this study were data minimization, triangulation data analysis, and conclusion writing. Abstract

The addition of the capacity of the domestic departure terminal room greatly affects passengers in terms of the quality of services provided by the airport, which can be assessed by passengers, in terms of meeting the needs of passengers. Passengers will feel satisfied if their needs and desires have been met. The purpose of this study is 1) To determine the effect of increasing the capacity of the domestic departure terminal space on the quality of public services at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar. 2) To find out how big the effect of increasing the capacity of the domestic departure terminal space on the quality of public services at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar. This study employed a quantitative research method. The research approach used was inferential statistics. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The number of samples was taken using the Slovin technique. The number of research respondents was as many as 100 passengers. The analysis used to answer the problem formulation was a simple linear regression analysis assisted by using the SPSS v.24.0 computer statistical application program. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of increasing the capacity of the domestic departure terminal space on the quality of public services at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar. This is evidenced by the significant value of 0.00. Besides the addition of the domestic departure terminal room capacity contributes to the quality of public services at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar by 47.5%.

Abstract

Recently, china or what we know as the bamboo curtain country was shocked by the news that one of its 55-years-old citizens from Wuhan, Hubei Province, was infected with a new deadly virus on November 17, 2019. which then spread as a worldwide pandemic. A new type of coronavirus known as SARS-CoV-2 is the cause of this pandemic. In Indonesia, the first case of this virus was found in March 2020. This virus in Indonesia causes an increasing number of deaths, the government’s efforts to accelerate the handling of COVID-19, especially for the aviation sector, by published the circular of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 Number 4 of 2020 which limits the travel of people to or from an area in order to accelerate the handling of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. This is one of the triggers for the decreased in the number of passengers at Kupang El Tari International Airport. This type of research is a mixed type of research with a comparative descriptive method, which is to compare the period before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic. In this study, the author only wants to explain the existing data. The method used in this study is a mixed method because the variables studied used data in the form of numbers and verbal data obtained from interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that the number of passengers in 2019 and 2020 is different.The number of departing passengers at Kupang El Tari International Airport in 2020 are fluctuated. Sometimes up and sometimes down. So, the decrease in the number of passengers from 2019 - 2020 was 44% or 358,324 passengers. So the decrease is significant.

Abstract

An airport is a land and water area with certain boundaries that is used as a place for aircraft to land and take off, boarding and dropping passengers, loading and unloading goods, and places for intra and inter-mode transportation, which are equipped with aviation safety and security facilities, as well as other facilities. products and other supporting facilities. Lion Air is the largest private airline in Indonesia, where the airline controls most of the domestic market share. This study used qualitative research methods. Qualitative research methods are often called naturalistic research methods because the research is carried out in natural conditions (natural settings). The results of this study explain the marketing strategy at the Air Lion Airline which, the challenges of implementing MPR include HR implementing Marketing Public Relations must be able to develop and improve IT capabilities on the basis of intellectual capacity, must understand data from research results, must understand the flow of research base data analysis , and coordination with related parties so that there is no coordination gap, must be able to have good relations with management who is the decision maker, HR implementing Marketing Public Relations must have a team leader mindset, and provide input to superiors.

Abstract

Mopah Merauke Airport is one of the airports serving flights in Merauke, South Papua. The purpose of this study is to find out whether waiting room facilities affect passenger comfort, and how much waiting room facilities affect passenger comfort at Mopah Merauke Airport. This research uses quantitative methods. The research was conducted at Mopah Merauke Airport from 1 to 31 December 2022 where passengers at Mopah Merauke Airport were the objects of this study. The source of the data used in this study was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to passenger respondents at Mopah Merauke Airport. The results of the study concluded that the waiting room facilities had a significant effect on passenger comfort of 68.6%.

Abstract

Corona Virus Diasease (Covid-19) memberikan dampak bagi petugas pasasi yang harus memberikan pelayanan langsung kepada penumpang di bandar udara. Adanya peraturan-peraturan baru yang terkadang dapat berubah-ubah setiap waktunya, banyaknya petugas yang diharuskan mengusai pekerjaan yang bukan dibidangnya mengakibatkan bertambahnya beban kerja dan banyaknya petugas yang dirumahkan mengakibatkan munculnya perasaan khawatir dan cemas. Hal ini dapat berdampak pada stres kerja dan mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja petugas. Kinerja petugas menurun dapat memberikan dampak negatif pada sebuah organisasi. Adapun tujuan penelitian yaitu guna mendapati seberapa besar pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja petugas pasasi selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Bandar Udara Komodo Labuan Bajo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer didapatkan dari kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel yang diperoleh yaitu 30 petugas pasasi dan data sekunder didapatkan lewat buku, jurnal-jurnal, dan studi pustaka. Hasil yang didapatkan dari uji hipotesis dengan memakai metode analisis regresi linear sederhana, uji parsial (Uji T) serta uji determinasi yang mempunyai nilai signifikan 0,000<0,05 dan dilihat dari t hitung variabel stres kerja yaitu 16,533>0,361 (t tabel) sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka diketahui terdapat pengaruh stres kerja (X) terhadap kinerja (Y) petugas pasasi selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Bandar Udara Komodo Labuan Bajo. Nilai R square yaitu 0, 907 artinya variabel stres kerja (X) mempengaruhi variabel kinerja (Y) sebesar 90,7%. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian yaitu stres kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja petugas pasasi selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Bandar Udara Komodo Labuan Bajo, diketahui tingkat korelasi dinyatakan sangat kuat.

Abstract

Apron movement control personnel must have a license or competency certificate to prevent human error from occurring due to negligence of personnel at work. Drivers who drive GSE vehicles exceeding the maximum limit do not know the rules on the Air side, officers who do not wear vests when on the apron, and taxi way charie under repair. This study aims to determine the performance of Apron Movement Control (AMC) officers in supporting flight security and safety at Supadio Pontianak International Airport, to find out the obstacles encountered by Apron Movement Control (AMC) officers. In supporting flight safety and security at Supadio Pontianak Airport, and to find out the efforts made to improve the performance of AMC officers in supporting flight safety and security at Supadio Pontianak Airport. In conducting research, the author uses qualitative research methods, which aim to find, analyze and manage data obtained from direct events that occur in the field by understanding social interactions through interviews and observations. This research was conducted at PT. Angkasa Pura II (persero) Supadio Pontianak International Airport at the Apron Movement Control (AMC) Unit from 01 January 2023 to 30 January 2023. Data analysis techniques used in this study include: data reduction, data display and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the AMC unit at Supadio Pontianak International Airport has been very good at supporting flight safety and security as seen from the personnel. Actions to overcome safety and security risks that are implemented in the work environment of the AMC unit are implemented by plotting parking stands and coordination with towers and GH. The obstacles encountered by the AMC unit included the lack of Apron Movement Control unit personnel, as well as the condition of Charlie's taxiway which had a slight crack which could result in accidents and incidents. Efforts are being made to improve the performance of AMC unit officers in supporting flight security and safety, namely by minimizing existing human resources so that they can run well and stay focused on the duties of each AMC unit personnel.

Abstract

All organizations will definitely require all employees to always develop and optimize every effort so that the performance results achieved can be maximized. To maximize performance, it needs to be supported by a good work environment. The better the work environment in the company results in the better the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of employees which will improve performance. This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Region III Airport Authority employees. This study used a quantitative method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The population in this study is 150 Civil Servants of the Airport Authority Office Region III with a sample of 109 obtained using the slovin formula calculation. Data analysis techniques were performed using SPSS software version 15.0. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a significant influence between the work environment on OCB; (2) there is a significant influence between OCB on performance; (3) there is a significant effect of work environment on performance; and (4) there is no indirect effect of work environment on performance through OCB as an intervening variable.
