Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk bahan ajar yang efektif untuk siswa kelas V SD tentang membaca cepat. Metode yang digunakan R&D dengan menggunakan pendekatan model pengembangan Jolly dan Bolitho. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 251 siswa dan 8 guru SDN OKU. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahan ajar hasil pengembangan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca cepat dan pemahaman siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa. SDN 1 OKU, nilai rata-rata pretest hanya mencapai 45,68 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 70,00. SDN 3 OKU, nilai rata-rata pretest hanya mencapai 50,26 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 70,26. SDN 4 OKU nilai rata-rata pretest hanya mencapai 54,17 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 73,33. SDN 5 OKU nilai rata-rata pretest hanya mencapai 40,45 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 68,18. SDN 11 OKU nilai rata-rata pretest hanya mencapai 50,33 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 72,33. SDN 12 OKU nilai rata-rata pretest hanya mencapai 47,59 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 65,52. SDN 18 OKU nilai rata-rata pretest hanya mencapai 51,54 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 70,38. SDN 24 OKU nilai rata-rata pretest hanya mencapai 43,94 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 69,39. Hal ini berarti bahan ajar hasil pengembangan Mari Membaca Cepat layak digunakan siswa SD Kabupaten OKU.

Abstract

Etiquette and manner of speaking reflected in the way of communicating by verbal or the way how to communicate. Etiquette of speaking is very important to pay attention by participants (communicator and communication) for fluency communication. Therefore, this language problem ettiquete should get the attention, especially the use of language in daily life. Speaking politeness describe politeness of the speaker. Ettiquete a child in speaking usually imitate the habit of his parents in speaking daily life. Sometimes parents inadvertently or accidentally often express the words or phrases that are not good to be heard by children. In this case the application needs to be civilized and polite language as an effort to build the character. Things that need to be done in building a child character are as follows. (1) Parents are accustomed to use polite language when communicating with children. (2) Parents should avoid taboo words. (3) Parents should seek to use fine words (euphemism). (4) Parents should try to choose the honorifics. (5) Parents should establish good relationship with teachers at the school to determine the personality development of their children.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find and to obtain a profound understanding of the moral values of the main character in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy as responded by the sixth semester students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department (PBSI) Baturaja University The students’ receptions include: (1) students’ responses to religious moral values, (2) students’ responses to the personal moral values, (3) responses responses to social moral values. The data of this qualitative research were obtained through closed questionnaires and interviews. The data collection procedure was done by determining the respondents who have read and understood the novel, spreading the questionnaire, and then conducting the interview, collecting the data, classifying the data, and eventually analyzing the data. The result of the research revealed that the religious moral value of the main character is considered good with the percentage of 9,3%. In addition, the personal and social moral values ??are also considered good with the percentage of 9,0%, and 9,6% respectively. The moral values of the main character may become good examples for the students to develop a strong character in religious, personal, and social moral values.

Abstract

: This study aims to describe the ability of second semester students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program to write regional language poems. The research method uses descriptive methods. The population is 35 people with a sample of 28 people. The data collection technique was in the form of a test, namely writing rhymes using local languages. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that: Semester II students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, FKIP Baturaja University, are generally in the category of being able to write rhymes in regional languages. This is because the percentage of test scores obtained by students shows as many as 10 students (35.7%) are included in the very capable category and as many as 10 students (35.7%) are in the capable category. Furthermore, as many as 3 students (10.7%) were included in the fairly capable category, while those included in the poor category were 5 students (17.9%), and none failed (0%), with an average score obtained of 72.57. These results indicate that students' abilities are included in the category of being able to write rhymes using regional languages.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesulitan butir soal Bahasa Indonesia buatan guru semester-II 2006 kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 OKU. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi yang berupa butir soal Bahasa Indonesia dan lembar jawaban siswa serta teknik wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kualitas butir soal Bahasa Indonesia buatan guru tersebut menunjukan tingkat kesulitan yang sedang dengan rata-rata 0,532. Oleh sebab itu, butir soal yang telah disusun memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang sedang dapat dipertahankan. Disarankan kepada guru penyusun butir soal agar lebih meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam menyusun butir soal agar tercipta alat tes hasil belajar yang lebih berkualitas yaitu sedang yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan butir soal yang tidak terlalu sulit dan tidak terlalu mudah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui kebiasaan membaca siswa, kemampuan membaca cepat dan pemahaman siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Keromongan, serta hubungan antara kebiasaan membaca dengan kemampuan membaca cepat dan pemahaman. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 29 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket, kebiasaan membaca siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Keromongan tergolong kategori baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh seluruh siswa yaitu 72,83. Sementara itu, kemampuan membaca cepat dan pemahaman siswa, secara keseluruhan tergolong baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh seluruh siswa yaitu 75,86. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui nilai rhitung adalah 0,46, sedangkan rtabel adalah 0,361 pada taraf signifikasi 5%. Dengan demikian, hipotesis nol (Ho) dinyatakan ditolak, sedangkan hipotesis penelitian (Ha) dinyatakan diterima, artinya bahwa terdapat korelasi yang positif antara kebiasaan membaca dengan kemampuan membaca cepat dan pemahaman pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Keromongan Kecamatan Martapura OKU Timur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa menganalisis nilai karakter puisi Malu (Aku) Jadi Orang IndonesiaKarya Taufik Ismail dan mendeskripsikan relevansinya terhadap penanaman pendidikan karakter siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel total yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis hasil data tes uraian dengan cara mengubah skor menjadi nilai, yaitu dengan membagi skor yang diperoleh dari jawaban benar dengan skor maksimal, kemudian dikalikan dengan 100. Data observasi yang diperoleh, dianalisis. Selanjutnya menghitung nilai yang diperoleh dengan rumus persentase dan melakukan perhitungan dengan menggunakan rumus statistik Korelasi Korelasi Pearson serta mendeskripsikan hasil perhitungan statistik dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian pada rumusan masalah penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kemampuan siswa menganalisis nilai karakter dalam puisi Malu (Aku) Jadi Orang Indonesia Karya Taufik Ismail termasuk kategori mampu. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa mencapai nilai 74.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the moral values ​​contained in the Novel Dilan (He Is My Dilan 1990) by Pidi Baiq. The method used is descriptive method. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques and note-taking techniques. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the novel has moral values, namely: (1) the relationship between humans and God in which there is an embodiment of the moral value of praying, there are 3 character quotes, and obedience to God is 3 character quotes. (2) The human relationship with oneself which contains honest moral values ​​is 13 character quotations, 13 character quotations are responsible, 7 character quotations are firm, self-control is 1 character quotation, and 3 character quotations are despicable. (3) Human relations with other humans in which there is a form of moral value caring for others totaling 18 character quotes, respecting others totaling 17 character quotes, please help totaling 3 character quotes, compassion totaling 13 character quotes, advising totaling 9 character quotes, and spread greetings totaling 2 character quotes. In addition, in the analysis of moral values ​​there is relevance to learning literature, namely the Prose Fiction Appreciation Theory course regarding moral elements in fiction in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program.
