Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of teaching materials such as books limited student handbook. In addition, the display of teaching materials what is available is less attractive, the language is difficult to understand, minimal pictures. To to overcome this, the researchers developed the Atlas of medicinal plants as ingredients teach students at SMK. This study aims to describe the process development of Atlas of medicinal plants as teaching materials in the material biodiversity for class X SMK and to produce an Atlas valid. This type of research is a development research using the 4-D Model which includes the stage of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject this study consisted of 7 validators. Based on the result of this study the resulting product is a medicinal plant Atlas. Atlas of medicinal plants produced declared very valid by the validator both from the aspects of content feasibility, language, presentation, and graphics with a validity value of 89%. It can be concluded that the Atlas of medicinal plants has been declared valid.

Abstract

Diktat sangat bermanfaat dalam proses perkuliahan. Sebagai salah satu bagian dari bahan ajar diktat merupakan bahan ajar dasar yang wajib dimiliki oleh dosen. Diktat dapat diartikan sebagai bahan ajar suatu mata pelajaran atau bidang studi yang dipersiapkan guru secara tertulis untuk mempermudah atau memperkaya materi pelajaran/bidang studi yang disampaikan guru dalam proses belajar mengajar dan masih diedarkan dalam lingkup terbatas (umumnya hanya digunakan oleh guru yang membuat), dalam bentuk yang lebih sederhana, cakupan isinya lebih sedikit. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan diktat mata kuliah strategi pembelajaran biologi prodi pendidikan biologi di STKIP YPM Bangko yang valid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian riset dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Research and Development (R&D). Pengembangan diktat ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D Models. Model ini terdiri dari 4 tahap pengembangan, yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh validator terhadap diktat mata kuliah strategi pembelajaran biologi diperoleh Hasil validasi pada kriteria sangat valid dan validasi tata bahasa juga pada kategori sangat valid. Dari hasil penelitian terhadap pengembangan Diktat mata kuliah strategi pembelajaran biologi diperoleh produk berupa diktat yang valid serta dapat digunakan dalam proses perkuliahan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of teaching materials used and the lack of attractive teaching materials used and not yet combined with attractive colors. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to develop supporting teaching materials, namely in the form of learning modules equipped with scaffolding on environmental pollution material. This study aims to describe the process of developing an Integrated Science learning module equipped with Scaffolding on environmental pollution material for grade VII SMP / MTS students, to produce an Integrated Science module equipped with Scaffolding on environmental pollution material for class VII SMP / MTS which is valid and practical. This type of research is a type of development research that uses a 4-D model which includes the stages of define (define), Design (Design), Develop (Development) and Desseminate (deployment). The subject of this study consisted of 6 validators. For practicality it was carried out by 2 teachers 31 students of class VII SMP / MTS. Sources of data from the results of this study are the results of the validity and practicality of the learning module, then this data is analyzed by descriptive analysis. Based on the results of this study, a product in the form of an integrated science learning module equipped with valid and practical scaffolding was produced. The resulting learning module was declared very valid by the validator both from the aspects of the feasibility of content, language, presentation and graphics with an achievement of a value of 96%. The resulting learning module was also stated to be very practical by the teacher both in terms of ease of use, learning time and aspects of attractiveness with an average score of 3.78. Based on the data analysis obtained, it can be concluded that the Integrated Science learning module which is equipped with Scaffolding on environmental pollution material for grade VII SMP / MTS students has been declared very valid and very practical.

Abstract

The bckground of this research is that Flashcard media has not been develop that describes the material on biodiversity. For learning, Biology teachers only use textbook media. The textbook used in Biology learning is still ineffective because Biology is related to nature, and there are only a few pictures. This makes learning less attractive, the language used is difficult to understand, and less effective so that student in learning are bored, sleepy. Saturated because the images presented are colorless of it can be said that student interest in learning is low. To overcome this, the researchers developed Flashcard media on Biodiversity material. This research aims to product valid Flashcard media on Biodiversity material in SMA/SMK and equivalent. This research is a development research using a 4-D model which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of this study consisted of 7 validators, to test the validity of 2 teachers of SMK N 9 Merangin and 5 lectures of STKIP YPM Bangko. The research instrument was a questionnaire for the validity of the Flashcard media, then the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of this study, a valid Flashcard media was produced. The resulting Flashcard media was declared very valid by the validator with a validity value of 91%. So it can be concluded that the resulting Flashcard media is valid.

Abstract

The research is motivated by there not any of development media for the snake games to explained the material for the phylum echinoderms at SMA N 13 Merangin, the media used were pictures and materials in textbooks. The learning process is still monotonous, the teacher has not developed interesting learning media such as the snake game media. This makes learning less enjoyable, thus pupils are bored and tired during the learning process, fur thermore, they have a low level of interestion learning. To get arownd this, the researchers designed a snake- themed game using material from the echinoderm phylum . This study aims to produce biology learning media in the form of snake games on material for the echinoderm phylum valid and practical in class X SMA. The study is a development study that use a four-stage paradigm that comprises define, design, develop, and disseminate. The purpose of this study is to test the validity of 1 SMA N teacher 13 Merangin and 4 STKIP YPM Bangko lecturers using 5 validators. A questionnaire on the validity of snake games media and a practical questionnaire for instructors were used as study instruments, and the data were then analyzed descriptively. The snake game media product was found to be both legitimate and pratical based on the finding of this analysis. The snake games learning media is declared valid based on validation with 5 validators with revisions and repair. With an average material validation score of 3.16 with a very valid category, language validation 3.66 including a valid intense category, presentation validation 3.70 including a very valid category, and media validation 3.80 including valid intense a category, then overall from each validation get average of 3.57 with a very valid category. The snake game learning media was declared practical based on the results of the practicality test using a teacher's practicality questionnaire. The average is 3.26 with the practical category.
