Abstract

This article ecxplores about isrâiliyyât in Tafsîr al-Qur'ân al-Adzim Ibn Kathir. According to the assessment of the scholarsnarrations contained in this book belong to the most valid.Nevertheless, it still raises a dilemma in this book, when the discoveryof some the history that is included in isrâiliyyât. Isrâiliyyât story isentered in round (without any selection) into a book of commentary,will be able to damage the face and purity of the interpretation of thetafsir Koran. This is, because the stories contain superstition andfalsehood that develops in the middle of the Jews and Christians, thenthey develop and distribute to the Muslims. In this book, there are atleast three categories isrâiliyyât, namely: first, history isrâiliyyât whichhe put but also criticized and commented upon truth, second, storyisrâiliyyât he put but without justified and also blamed, and the third,the story isrâiliyyât the inclusion in round without comment fromhim.

Abstract

The study of the translation of Qur'an in Indonesian is intended to map the translation of Qur'an in Indonesian. Based on the literature review, we found some problematic Indonesian translation of Qur'an. Translation of the Qur'an as a holy book should not be mistaken. If this happens, then the function of Qur'an as a guide turns into a heresy. The translation must be done with precision and accuracy. This paper intends to examine the problematic translation of the Qur'an into Indonesian in terms of context, culture, and conditions surrounding it. Any criticism of the translation in this study is based on original documents using rational, objective and argumentative thought. After a critical analysis of several translations in Basmalah, al-Ikhlas and al-Ma'un, it finds that the translation of the Indonesian Qur'an does not fully follow the rules and procedures of translation. In general, the translation process is done literally, not contextually. On the other hand, the subjective thinking in translation seems more dominant than rational, objective and argumentative thinking.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  menganalisis  faktor-faktor  yang berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal perbankan syariah di Indonesia selama periode 2011-2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan data time series triwulan yang dianalisis dengan regresi berganda. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  8  bank  syariah  di  Indonesia  dan  dipilih  secara  purposive  sampling. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah ukuran perusahaan, tingkat pertumbuhan  perusahaan,  stabilitas  pendapatan,  struktur  aktiva  dan  variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah struktur modal. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan, tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan, stabilitas penjualan dan struktur aset berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal, dan hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel ukuran perusahaan, tingkat perusahaan pertumbuhan, stabilitas pendapatan dan struktur aktiva secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi struktur modal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang dipertimbangkan oleh bank dalam menentukan struktur modal adalah komposisi  aktiva dan  pendapatan  yang  diperoleh.  Oleh  karena itu,  perbankan syariah di Indonesia perlu mengoptimalkan pendapatan dan total akiva yang dimiliki.

Abstract

This study tries to article tries to discuss and mapping the dialectical models between text and reality in the daily human life. 'Limitations' of the text and the development of the time,requires Qur’an to be able to dialogue with the context of space and time. So that,the message of the Qur’an can be understood by human beings, in various dimensions of space and time. One of the Qur'anic communication models with the times is throughthe dialectical model. With the content analysis method, based on the Mushaf Utsmani as its reference, the results show, that there are at least Eleven dialectical models offered by the Qur'an, namely: Alsibr wa Altaqsim (breaking and showingthe opponents' opinions), Istifham Taqriri (questions that have one answer to the truth), Qiyas Mudhmar (Enthimeme), Qiyas Khalaf (Syllogism per Impossible), Qiyas Tamtsil (Reasoning by Analogy), Istidlal by using stories, Altaslim (Presupposition), Almunaqadhah (Refutation), Dalik Alikhtira' and Dalil Alhuduts (the argument which shows everything has its creator), and the continued Dalil. One of the philosophical functions that can be applied with these various dialectical models areto strengthen the argument for the truth of life in the hereafter.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the Sharia Non-Banking Financial Industry (henceforth INKB) performance in Indonesia based on the criterion of sharia maqashid and its inclusive contribution. This study's population is the Sharia IKNB, with the samples include sharia insurance companies, sharia finance companies, sharia pension funds, and pawnshop companies. The data in this study were analyzed using the Simple Additive Weighting method. The study results show the highest five ranks of Sharia Maqashid Index performance calculation, namely, in respective order, DPLK Muamalah, Reindo Syariah, Asuransi Takaful Indonesia, Sarana Multigriya Finansial, and lastly is Pegadaian Indonesia. To overcome the structural poverty that has been a prominent unfinished issue and often neglected by the state, it requires the ability and sensitivity to respond to the low class' turmoil by the sustainable economy, environment, and financial industry media. The Sharia IKNB must contribute to the public in becoming the frontline in improving the structural poverty system and leading industry in achieving the highest sharia objective, to maintain the life sustainability of humans, nature, economic resource, and other life aspects of the society.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja Industri Keuangan Non Perbankan Syariah (selanjutnya INKB) di Indonesia berdasarkan kriteria maqashid syariah dan kontribusinya yang inklusif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah IKNB Syariah, dengan sampel perusahaan asuransi syariah, perusahaan pembiayaan syariah, dana pensiun syariah, dan perusahaan pegadaian. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting. Hasil studi menunjukkan lima peringkat tertinggi penghitungan kinerja Indeks Maqashid Syariah, yaitu di masing-masing urutan, DPLK Muamalah, Reindo Syariah, Asuransi Takaful Indonesia, Sarana Multigriya Finansial, dan terakhir adalah Pegadaian Indonesia. Untuk mengatasi kemiskinan struktural yang selama ini menjadi isu menonjol yang belum terselesaikan dan sering diabaikan oleh negara, diperlukan kemampuan dan kepekaan dalam merespon gejolak kelas bawah oleh media ekonomi, lingkungan, dan industri keuangan yang berkelanjutan. IKNB Syariah harus berkontribusi kepada masyarakat menjadi garda terdepan dalam memperbaiki sistem kemiskinan struktural dan industri unggulan dalam mencapai tujuan syariah yang setinggi-tingginya, menjaga keberlanjutan kehidupan manusia, alam, sumber daya ekonomi, dan aspek kehidupan masyarakat lainnya.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the religious thought of an ulama in the face of the diverse social dynamics in the Javanese Islamic are reflected at an interpretation of the Quran. The tradition that developed in Javanese Islamic is one fairly complex dialectic space. This is because the existing of religious traditions in the midst of the Javanese Islamic has various expressions of rituals in religiosity, for example, tahlilan, haul, a pilgrimage to the tomb of trustees and others. The results showed that religious thought of Misbah Mustafa in Tafsir al-Iklil fi Ma'ani al-Tanzil typically displays a distinctive pattern. In this case, the Misbah’s thought not exactly congruent with the construction of traditional Javanese ulama were generally patterned Asy’ariyah (Sunnism), though in many ways still reflects a general pattern of Sunnism. In this case, although much influenced by medieval scholars and Java pesantren, it does not mean Misbah’s thought is replicative. Misbah managed to reconstruct their thinking and consider its relevance to the context of the existing religious social. This is certainly different to most scholars of his day. Thus, the construction of Misbah’s thought in Tafsir al-Iklil is either directly or indirectly has given a new color in the clerical Javanese Islam. In addition, the results of this study also provide the realization that the tradition that developed in Javanese Islamic has a fairly significant influence on the writing of the tafsir of the Quran.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan respon pemikiran ke­agama­an seorang ulama dalam menghadapi dinamika keberagamaan masyarakat islam jawa yang tercermin dalam penafsiran al-Qur’an. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah hermeneutika al-Qur’an Farid Esack. Dalam hal ini, terdapat proses eisegesis (memasukkan wacana asing ke dalam al-Qur’an) sebelum exegesis (mengeluarkan wacana dari al-Qur’an). Dengan de­mikian, tafsir al-Qur’an ditempatkan dalam ruang sosial di mana penafsir berada, dengan segala problematika kehidupannya. Sehingga sifatnya tidak lagi ke­araban, tetapi spesifik konteks sosial di mana tafsir ditulis. Hasil penelitian me­nunjukkan bahwa pemikiran keagamaan Misbah dalam Tafsīr al-Iklīl secara tipikal menampilkan corak yang khas. Dalam hal ini, pemikiran Misbah tidak sebangun persis dengan konstruksi pemikiran ulama tradisonal Jawa yang umumnya bercorak As’ariyah (Sunnism), meskipun dalam banyak hal tetap men­cerminkan pola umum Sunnisme. Dalam hal ini, meskipun banyak di­pengaruhi oleh ulama-ulama abad pertengahan dan pesantren Jawa, bukan berarti pemikiran Misbah bersifat replikatif. Misbah berhasil merekonstruksi pemikiran mereka dengan mempertimbangkan relevansinya terhadap konteks sosiol keagamaan yang ada. Hal ini tentu berbeda dengan kebanyakan ulama pada zamannya. Dengan demikian, konstruksi pemikiran Misbah dalam tafsir al-Iklīl ini baik secara langsung maupun tidak, telah memberikan warna baru di kalangan msyarakat Islam jawa. Selain itu, hasil studi ini juga memberikan bukti bahwa tradisi yang berkembang pada masyarakat Islam Jawa memiliki pengaruh yang cukup siknifikan dalam penulisan tafsir al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the harmonic modes between Islam dan Javanese culture in Javanese qur’anic commentary. The object material is Tafsir Al-Qur’an Suci Basa Jawi which studied using Gadamer’s hermeneutics. This is the book of tafsir which written based on the idea of Tafsir Anom V. The tafsir then was written, compiled, and publishd by KH. Raden Muhammad Adnan (1889-1969) and his descendants who lived in Keraton Surakarta.  The study shows that Tafsir Al-Qur’an Suci Basa Jawi is one of local qur’anic commentaries which strengthen harmonic modes between Islam and Javanese culture. There are three points of Javanese culture in harmony with Islam: the use of respectful language in Javanese, a harmony of Javanese Islamic mysticism and Javanese Islam as a way of wisdom. This is a local qur’anic commentary that harmonize the Javanese local culture with Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the substance of the material in the methodof learning the Quran tsaqifa. This method is specifically designed for adultswho have not been able to read the Quran or who never learned and stillverbatim read. In addition, the method also put a target on the learner inorder to quickly be able to read the Quran. Therefore, in this research, theauthor tries to re-examine whether the method is rapid, promising thecontent of what is taught is completely in accordance with the rules ofArabic writing is good and right. This study shows that the materialsubstance of this method known arabic (hijaiyah) approach Indonesiantranslation or Latin letters. However, the use of transliteration standardyet to implement them, like the letter “qo” written “ko” letter “sho” written“so”. In addition, there is also a writing error dot on the letter, such letter“ta” which should dot two above letter, written under the letter. It is perhapsworth noting because if wrong in awarding a point it will be wrong in thepronunciation. Nevertheless, the overall method is already making a positivecontribution to learning to read the Quran. Kedepanya expected to appearnew methods in reading the Koran rather comprehensive. Not merelyconcerned with the ability to read quickly, but also pay attention to thesubstance of the material well.

Abstract

This paper aims to study the writing of the interpretation of the Qur’an around Islamic boarding school. The main topic of discussion is about the book written by a Moslem scholar from Pesantren al-Balagh, Bangilan, which is titled by Tafsîr al-Iklîl fî Ma’âni al-Tanzîl. It’s written by KH. Misbah Mustafa. This study proves that the tradition developed at Islamic boarding schools has significant influence in writing interpretation of the Qur’an. The book showed us the relation between Islamic traditions and the interpretation of the Qur’an. There are some values of Islamic boarding school tradition mentioned in this book like the use of script Java-Arab (Pegon) as the identity of the interpretation, language stratification in the interpretation, contextual interpretation based on the Islamic boarding school tradition, and many stories found as the media of the interpretation. In general, through his book, KH. Misbah Mustafa had contributed giving new variation of interpretation between Moslem scholars in Islamic boarding school, whether they were living in the same time or as succeeding generations. Through this work, we could see that the Moslem scholar who is living in Islamic boarding schools also has high level of academic wealth in the tradition of interpretation of the Qur’an. Therefore, KH. Misbah Mustafa has shown us that a Moslem scholar also has the ability to write a comprehensive interpretation book. Thus, this work should be equated with the works of interpretation of the Qur’an that had been written by other Moslem scholars of Nusantara.
