<![CDATA[Abstrak -Â Teknologi informasi yang memiliki tiga unsur utama yaitu perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan pelaksana sebagai komponen utamanya ini sangat sulit dipisahkan dari banyak hal dalam kehidupan industri. PT. Indo Ocean Logistic adalah salah satu perusahaan PMD yang menyediakan jasa pengiriman eksport dan import untuk kargo peti kemas bermuatan penuh (Full Container Load / FCL) dan maupun kargo yang bermuatan sedikit (Less than Container Load / LCL) melalui laut (sea freight), darat (inland) maupun udara (air freight), dimana proses jasa pengiriman ekspor pada perusahaan ini masih berjalan sangat lambat, dan data yang dihasilkan kurang akurat. Untuk itu penulis mencoba membuat Sistem Informasi Jasa Pengiriman Ekspor Pada PT. Indo Ocean Logistic Jakarta yang terkomputerisasi. Sistem informasi berbasis komputerisasi merupakan solusi terbaik dalam pemecahan berbagai masalah kegiatan tersebut, dan dengan penerapan sistem diharapkan dapat tercapainya efektifitas dan efisiensi dalam menunjang aktifitas di PT.
