<![CDATA[Fenomena yang terjadi menunjukkan bahwa banyak individu difabel yang mampu meraih kesuksesan dan dapat berkarir ditengah keterbatasan dan hambatan yang mereka miliki. Hal ini didasarkan pada kemampuan mereka dalam mengubah kesulitan dan keyakinan bahwa sumber prilaku ditentukan oleh dirinya sendiri. Kemampuan individu dalam mengatasi hambatan dan mengubahnya menjadi peluang adalah adversity quotient sedangkan keyakinan individu terhadap sumber penentu prilakunya adalah locus of control. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan perbedaan tingkat adversity quotient ditinjau dari orientasi locus of control yang dimiliki individu. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan skala locus of control dan skala adversity quotient pada individu difabel berkategori tuna daksa sebanyak 29 orang. Hasil temuan didapatkantidak terdapat perbedaan adversity quotient ditinjau dari orientasi locus of control pada individu difabel. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai Zyang lebih kecil dari 1,93 untuk nilai kritis sebesar 0,05. (Z= 0,315; α = 0,05; Z < 1,93) Katakunci:Adversity quotient, locus of control, individu difabel Nowadays phenomenon were that many individuals with disabilities was able to achieve the goal of life and also they could live as a normal person in the middle of the limitations and disability that they had. It’s based on their ability to change the difficulty and belief that behavior is determined by the source itself. Individual's ability to overcome obstacles and turn into opportunities is adversity quotient while the individual beliefs of the source behavior is locus of control. This study aims to find differences in levels of adversity quotient in terms of locus of control orientation of the individual. The reasearch method that used in this study were adversity quotient scale and locus of control scale which is tested on 29 people with physical disabilities. This study found that there is no difference in the level of adversity quotient in terms of locus of control orientation on individuals with disabilities. Thus could be seen from Z value were lower than 1,93 wich is the requirement for 0,05 as critical value .
