Application of Kirinyuh Extracts (Chromolaena odorata (L.) R.M. King and H.E. Rob.) to Germination and Growth of Jawan Grass Weed (Echinochloa cruss-galli) nurul kholifah

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to know: 1) the effect of allelopathy from leaf and kirinyuh root extracts (Chromolaena odorata L.) to suppress seed germination of jawan grass weed (Echinochloa cruss-galli);  2) the influence of allelopathy from leaf and kirinyuh root extracts (C. odorata L.) to suppress the growth of  jawan grass weed (E. cruss-galli). This research was conducted from August to October 2017. Sampling site was located in Bukit Raya Village, Samboja District.This study used a Completely Randomized Design consisted of two factors with five treatments and three replications. The first factor  was the source of the extracts, consisted of leaves and roots of kirinyuh, while the second factor was the concentration of extracts, namely 0; 50; 100; 150; and 200 gL-1  aquadest. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance with F-test and followed by LSD test of 5% level.The results showed that: 1) kirinyuh extractswas able to inhibit the time and percentage of seed germination of jawan grass weed. The longest  in  germination time, was  8.54%,obtained from kirinyuh root  extracts  200gL-1aquadest. , while  the lowest in germination percentage obtained from 50g kirinyuh root extractsL-1, was 40.28%;  2) Leaf and kirinyuh root extractsinhibit thegrowth (height and root length), and caused high percentage of deaths of jawan grass weed. The highest percentage of weed deaths due to kirinyuh leaf extracts of concentration 100 g L- l with the death percentage was 1.76%.

Abstract

The research was conducted at one of the existing Islamic bank in Sumenep district located on Jl. Trunojoyo No.137 Sumenep. Technological developments can be utilized to develop potential in all fields, one of which is financial technology in the field of Islamic banking. This financial technology has its own opportunities and challenges in achieving a goal both in terms of banks, customers and the government. This research aims to find out how the opportunities and challenges of implementing financial technology (fintech) in the BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Bank are related to improving financial inclusion in Sumenep. The sampling technique in this research uses purposive sampling and using data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that by utilizing technological developments especially financial technology can improve bank services for customers and reach the wider community. This convenience, it can attract the public to take advantage of services offered so that financial inclusion can increase.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze how teachers use the Quizizz application to assess grammar tests. Then this research also aims to identify the obstacles faced by students when using the Quizizz application. This research uses a case study method, using interviews and questionnaires with teachers and students. Researchers found that 100% of teachers agreed to use the Quizizz application with various advantages of the application, namely it is practical, effective, efficient and does not take a long time. Researchers found that there were four obstacles faced by students, 53.3% of students had difficulty accessing the internet due to inadequate facilities at school and the facilities that students had. Then 50% of students had problems with the language display in the Quizizz application, caused by the students' lack of vocabulary. Furthermore, 46.7% of the obstacles were the lack of question-and-answer activities between students and teachers, this had an impact on students' difficulty working on questions because they thought it was difficult to ask the teacher. Then 43.3% had problems using the Quizizz application, the cause was students' lack of technological knowledge.
