Abstract

Abstrak. Nematoda parasit adalah hama dan penyakit yang dapat berdampak pada penurunan kuantitas dan kualitas tanaman.Kalimantan Timur telah mengendalikan nematoda parasit, tetapi tidak menjadi perhatian konselor pertanian dan petani hanyamenggunakan pestisida umum yang dapat mempengaruhi pengendalian nematoda parasit. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada deskriptifdan eksploratif untuk mengetahui keberadaan jamur nematoda pada pupuk kandang. Eksplorasi jamur nematoda menggunakan medialarutan pupuk kandang yang telah diencerkan 10-3 dan telah ditambahkan oleh ± 50 jamur nematoda. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukansembilan genera jamur. Delapan genus jamur dipastikan sebagai nematofag dan satu jamur (Circinella sp) belum diperoleh. Jamursebagai nematofag adalah Dactylella sp .; Arthrobotrys sp .; Gliocladium sp .; Trichoderma sp .; Verticillium sp .; Sarocladium sp.;Aspergillus sp. dan Monacrosporium sp.

Abstract

Water hyacinth weeds can cause disturbances in the form of silting and increase competition with other plants. On the other hand, water hyacinth has purple flowers, very beautiful when it blooms quite a lot, it can be used as an ornamental plant that refreshes the view and adds aesthetic value. This study aimed to assess the potential of water hyacinth (Monochorea vaginalis) as an ornamental plant and to see the response of water hyacinth to the application of Gandasil D. This study was designed in a t-test that was not given Gandasil D (P0) fertilizer and was given Gandasil D (P) fertilizer. Assessing the potential of rice water as an ornamental plant, a questionnaire was conducted on 20 respondents. Parameters observed for fertilization response were plant height, number of leaves, number of seeds and number of flowers. Data were analyzed using a t-test comparison at the 5% level. The results showed that the color of the rice water flower has a beauty value and has an aesthetic value, so this plant has the potential as an ornamental plant, and it is necessary to protect the rice water plant against plant pest organisms. The application of fertilizer to water hyacinth (Monochoria vaginalis) had no effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of seeds and number of flowers.

Abstract

The Malonan-1 variety is a pepper plant originating from East Kalimantan which has become a national superior pepper. This pepper contains around 2,35% essential oil, oleoserin 11,23% and piperine 3,82% and tolerance to stem rot disease. Preliminary survey results in the village of Batuah, Kutai Kartanegara District, East Kalimantan, it was found that the stem rot disease in Malonan-1 pepper, therefore it is necessary to conduct research to find out how much the intensity of the stem rot disease at this time and identify fungi that cause stem rot rot disease in pepper plants. This research was conducted for 5 months starting from January to May 2019. The research location was in Batuah Village, Loa Janan Subdistrict, Kutai Kartanegara District and in the Plant Disease Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University. Research includes activities in the field and in the laboratory. The activity in the field is a direct survey of eight pepper farmer groups and calculating the intensity of the disease. Also carried out samples of symptomatic stem rot disease to be brought to the laboratory. Activities in the laboratory are the preparation of tools and materials to isolate samples of pepper plants. The isolated fungal colonies were purified and then idenfied and continued with Koch's postulate. The average intensity of stem rot disease at the current Lada plant in Batuah village is 14,58% (mild), the highest intensity in the Young Lada farmer group is 26,52% and the lowest intensity in the Beringin Jaya Farmer group is 4.3%. Based on the results of isolation, the root disease of the pepper plant (Piper nigrum L) in Batuah Village, Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency is Phytophthora capsici L.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to observe the effect of duration of infection on the blast intensity and the presence of Pyricularia grisea (Cooke) Sacc. spores on lowland rice (Oryzae sativa). The experiment was conducted in North Samarinda and also in the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mulawarman, from January up to April 2013. Survey method was used in lowland rice fields, observations were made on rice crops in three different fields. Each fields sample was taken eight observations are averaged from eight samples. The results showed that the rice leaf spot because of blast, the intensity of the blast and the number of spores of P. grisea ( Cooke ) Sacc. around the rice crop canopy Inpari 7, Cibogo and Ciherang was affected by the duration of infection. The longer the time available, the higher the intensity of the blast and the greater number of spores were trapped on all varieties tested.

Abstract

Jamur entomopatogen merupakan jenis bioinsektisida yang dapat digunakan untuk mengendalikan hama pada tanaman. Pengendalian menggunakan bioinsektisida yang berbahan aktif jamur entomopatogen merupakan salah satu cara pengendalian yang ramah lingkungan serta tidak berdampak negatif bagi lingkungan dan tidak merusak ekosistem disekitarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jamur entomopatogen yang terdapat pada lahan tanaman pangan, hortikultura, dan perkebunan dan mengetahui tingkat patogenisitas jamur tersebut sebagai entomopatogen pada Spodoptera litura. Lokasi pengambilan sampel berada di Saloloang, Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Hama Penyakit Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Mulawarman, pada bulan Agustus 2020 hingga Maret 2021. Perlakuan  menggunakan isolat jamur entomopatogen yang berhasil di isolasi dengan insect bait method menggunakan larva Tenebrio molitor. Uji patogenisitas dirancang dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan uji lanjut menggunakan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 4 jenis jamur entomopatogen yang di isolasi di Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara yaitu Aspergillus sp.  isolat lahan tanaman perkebunan, Cunninghamella sp. isolat lahan tanaman hortikultura, Fusarium sp. isolat lahan tanaman pangan dan perkebunan, dan Metarhizium sp. isolat lahan tanaman pangan, hortikultura, dan perkebunan. Semua isolate jamur Metarhizium sp. efektif  mengendalikan ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura) in vitro dengan kerapatan spora 105/mL.
