Abstract

Overactive Bladder, hereinafter referred to as OAB, is a complaint of urgency accompanied by urgency incontinence or without urgency incontinence, which is usually followed by an increase in urinary frequency during the day and nocturia, without infection or other pathology of the bladder. OAB can affect the quality of life of sufferers. This study analyzes the relationship between OAB and quality of life based on databases such as Science Direct, Elsevier, Willey Library, Sage Journal, and Google Scholar, 2010-2020. The study results show that the prevalence of OAB in men and women increases with age and women are at greater risk major have OAB. The incidence of OAB is most experienced at the age of > 60 years. Based on 10 journals, 6 journals stated that there was a relationship between OAB and quality of life. The conclusion of this study is that OAB can reduce the quality of life in men and women

Abstract

Background: Health is the right of every human being as stated in the Law, so it is possible that every individual has the same rights in health services. The elderly are a group that is vulnerable to all diseases, physical weakness and living alone is one of the factors that causes the elderly to not be able to get good health services. The problems faced by the elderly in Blimbing Tarokan Village are the lack of knowledge of the elderly in managing the disease they are experiencing and the lack of awareness of the elderly to seek regular treatment. The purpose of this PkM activity is to carry out health checks and provide health education by making visits to the homes of elderly people who are targeted by Community Engagement. Method: The method of community service provided is to check blood pressure, pulse, breath and blood sugar checks and provide health education about diseases suffered by the elderly, the management of the diseases they suffer from, from understanding the disease to management both pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. Results: Based on the results found by the servant, the elderly seemed enthusiastic and active in asking questions about disease management, especially about medication and what to eat and what not to eat. Conclusion: Health services to the community through home care can increase the knowledge of the elderly about their illnesses and the management that must be carried out routinely.

Abstract

Background: New Normal is a change in habits in carrying out daily activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, it requires high discipline in implementing health protocols, one of which is wearing masks correctly. Children are a vulnerable group in disasters because children need special assistance in making decisions in every action taken. Method: Conducting Health Promotion by using Video as an effort to increase children's discipline in the use of masks to reduce the number of diseases caused by the coronavirus. Results: Based on direct observations in the field, there was a significant increase in the use of proper masks for Pelita Bangsa Elementary School students Conclusion: Health Promotion with Video can improve the discipline of Pelita Bangsa Elementary School students in using masks correctly

Abstract

The results showed that most respondents had good critical nursing competency scores including primary assessment: airway assessment (53.8%); breathing assessment (56.4%); Circulation assessment (61.5%); Disability assessment (56.4%); and Exposure assessment (59%), professionalism (56.4%), critical nursing care competencies (79.5%), Clinical reasoning process (71.8%), Patient safety (61.5%) and critical care exam score (46.2%). The result of statistical test with Pearson test obtained that the primary assessment: airway assessment (ρ = 0.038); circulation assessment (ρ = 0.029); Exposure assessment (ρ = 0.023), competence of critical nursing care (ρ = 0.049), clinical reasoning process (ρ = 0.028) and patient safety (ρ = 0.001) have a significant relationship to the critical care exam score. The implementation of learning methods for journal sharing of critical care has a positive impact on competencies and results in good student competencies.

Abstract

Indonesia is called a disaster laboratory for the whole world this is because all types of disasters have occurred. One of the natural disasters that often occurs in Indonesia is Mount erupting, this is because there are 127 active volcanoes, one of which is Mount Kelud which is in Kediri East Java. The purpose of this research was to find out how disaster management in the Kelud community in facing Mount Kelud erupting. The design of this research was a qualitative phenomenological study. The population was the Kelud community in Kepung and Puncu districts. The number of participants was 15 people. The data collection process was carried out with online Focus Discussion Group guidelines. Data analysis had identified two important themes in disaster management in the Kelud community. Abstract

Background: Society is an important element in a nation, especially in disaster management. Based on the law, one of the obligations of the community in disaster management is to carry out disaster management activities so that this requires every Indonesian citizen to play an active role in disaster management activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities carried out by the Kelud slope community in disaster management that had been carried out. Methods : design of this research is a qualitative phenomenological study, data collection is carried out using online Focus Group Discussion. The participants in this study were good community leaders consisting of government elements, disaster preparedness teams, and the general public. Data analysis was carried out based on a qualitative research design. Results: The results of this study show that community activities in disaster management are following the experiences that have been carried out in the pre-disaster, during, and post-disaster phases. Conclusion : Communities in the Kelud slope area are active in volcanic eruption disaster management activities that are resilient in dealing with volcanic eruptions.

Abstract

Children are one of the most vulnerable groups at risk of being affected by a disaster because they are triggered by a limited understanding of the risks around them, which results in a lack of preparedness in dealing with disasters. Disaster preparedness is needed within the scope of the education unit so that from an early age, the community, especially children. The design of educational media with games is an effective way of educating children learning about disasters. The aims to analyze the effect of the ludo disaster alert educational game as a disaster preparedness education strategy at Setonorejo 1 Kras Elementary School. The research design used was pre-experimental using the one group pre-test post-test design method. The population were 20 students of Setonorejo 1 Kras Elementary School who met the inclusion criteria using a total sampling technique. The inclusion criteria were children aged 8-9 years, children who came to school during data collection and children who were willing to be examined. Data analysis used Wilcoxon. Before being given the educational game of ludo disaster alert students were in the almost prepared category (40%), and after the educational game of ludo disaster alert there was an increase in preparedness with 55% of respondents having the very prepared category. There was a significant difference between before and after the educational game ludo disaster alert with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). Ludo disaster alert educational game has an effect on student disaster preparedness at Setonorejo 1 Kras Elementary School
