Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi kelas XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Cawas dengan menerapkan pendekatan Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Cawas yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi dan triangulasi. Validitas isi digunakan untuk validitas tes dan triangulasi digunakan untuk validitas data yang telah diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif komparatif dan interactive model. Prosedur penelitian penelitian ini menggunakan model spiral yang saling berkaitan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan pendekatan SAVI dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa dari prasiklus ke siklus I dan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa ditunjukkan dengan tercapainya indikator kinerja penelitian pada siklus II. Keaktifan siswa pada siklus II mencapai 77,31% dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil belajar siswa pada ranah afektif siklus II mencapai 80,56% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil belajar siswa ranah psikomotorik siklus II mencapai 86,11% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif siklus II mencapai 83,33% dengan kategori sangat tinggi.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan pendekatan Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual (SAVI) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi kelas XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Cawas Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata kunci: Keaktifan, Hasil belajar, Pendekatan SAVI ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to improve the learning activeness and the learning results in Accounting of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 3 of State Senior Secondary School 1 of Cawas through the application of the SAVI learning approach.            This research used the classroom action research with 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were the students as many as 36 in Grade XI of Social Science Program 3 of State Senior Secondary School 1 of Cawas. The data sources of the research were the students and the Accounting teacher of the school. The data of the research were gathered through observation, in-depth interview, documentation, and test. They were validated by using the content validity and triangulation. The former was used to validate the test, and the latter was used to validate the data obtained through observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The data were then analyzed by using the descriptive comparative and interactive model of analysis. The procedure of the research used the interconnected spiral model.             The results of the research show that the application of the SAVI learning approach can improve the learning activeness and the learning results from pre-cycle to Cycle I and from Cycle I to Cycle II. The improvement of the learning activeness and the learning results in Accounting is indicated by the fulfillment of the performance indicators in Cycle II. The learning activeness in Cycle II reaches 77.31% and achieves the high category. The learning result of affective domain of the students in Cycle II reaches 80.56% and achieves the very high category. The learning result of psychomotor domain of the students in Cycle II reaches 86.11% and achieves the very high category. The learning result of cognitive domain of the students in Cycle II reaches 83.33% and achieves the very high category.             Based on the results of the research, a conclusion is drawn that the application of the SAVI learning approach can improve the learning activeness and the learning results in Accounting of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 3 of State Senior Secondary School 1 of Cawas in Academic Year 2013/2014.Keywords: Learning activeness, learning result, and SAVI learning approach.
