Abstract

Penyelesaian Tugas Akhir (TA) studi merupakan proses penentu keberhasilan studi mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi (PT). Mahasiswa menginginkan proses penyelesaian studi tepat waktu dan mencapai nilai yang maksimal, namun keinginan ini agaknya sulit dicapai bila tidak didasarkan pada suatu mekanisme proses pembimbingan TA yang optimal. Pemikiran ini merujuk pada realitas bahwa banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami masalah, hambatan, atau kendala yang menyebabkan penyelesaian TA menjadi berlarut-larut. Bahkan tidak sedikit mahasiswa yang droup out atau tidak bisa menyelesaikan TA nya.Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah mengidentifikasi core values penggunaan Information Communication Technology (ICT) dalam proses pembimbingan TA (Skripsi) mahasiswa strata 1 (S1) di Perguruan Tinggi. Berdasarkan kajian literatur dan pengalaman empirik, core values penerapan ICT dalam proses pembimbingan TA studi mahasiswa sangat efektif dan efisien, yang memiliki nilai praktis, fleksibel, ekonomis, layanan, dan sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the deepening program of national exam materialsof vocational students in Bantul District. This research is evaluation research with CPRP (Context, Input, Process,and Product) evaluation model from Stufflebeam using quantitative approach supported by qualitative. Data werecollected using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the research are, first,the context is very useful, shown by organizational program organizers have been structured, and the program isvery relevant to the needs of students; Second, the input is quite effective, the readiness of the students to followthe program and management has been well managed, the program plan is very effective, the program strategy isquite effective, and the learning media is very useful; Third, the process is quite effective indicated by the level ofstudent participation in the implementation of the morning is lower than the daytime. Learning process accordingto program planning; Fourth, the product aspect is very effective with the benefits of the program.

Abstract

This classroom action research is motivated by the condition of the pre-research that shows students are lacking self-confidence and lack of enthusiasm in participating in educational learning with a teacher center approach. This study aims to introduce Problem-based learning with the Tri-Nga (Ngerti-Ngrasa-Nglakoni) approach to increase student passion to be ready to become vocational teachers. The study uses the Kemmis Taggart model with 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, and reflection. Study material for the first cycle of direct instruction and the second cycle of indirect instruction. The research subjects were 29 students of PKK study program in semester 3 of 2019-2020 academic class A in the FKIP UST. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews were analyzed descriptively. The results showed an increase in student passion shown by the aspects of understanding, feeling, and nglakoni which increased significantly. Students can understand the knowledge, attitudes, and skills that must be possessed by vocational teachers by analyzing learning problems in vocational schools, best practice, and reviewing instructional videos, students can appreciate the teaching profession through the study of various learning methods, and students practice learning through teaching simulations.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: 1) Understanding labor family against character education children in terms of discipline, the responsibility, and rectitude . 2) Described a pattern family foster workers in developing character education children in terms of discipline, the responsibility, and rectitude. Research approach used in this research is a qualitative approach.The method of collecting data on the observation are interviews, and documentation.Data analysis technique research was done with alir models is data collection, the reduction of data, presentation of data, verification and affirmation of conclusion .The results of research found that 1) the subject of study about educating the character of a child in this discipline , responsibility , and honesty is good that is the discipline is regulation , good governance that must be obeyed child at home , the school , and the environment .The responsibility is running all obligations ( particularly in worship ) and readiness to bear the risks in all his works.Honesty is actually the words and behavior in accordance or balanced with the words .2 ) foster pattern applied the subject of research in educating the character of a child in terms of discipline responsibilities and honesty are good that is a pattern foster discipline by means of exercising, accustom; and teach values religious.Foster pattern responsibility by means of accompanying and to familiarize child to learn timely not procrastinate a job, keep their neighborhood clean and educating children to can handle himself, so that a child to be more independent. Foster pattern honesty by means of train the being honest must always control the use of the allowance is given.

Abstract

The purpose of this study describes thelearning strategy of drilling pattern making in SMK,including:/ (1) planning; (2) implementation, (3)evaluation of learning outcomes and (4) obstaclesencountered in learning make draping patterns. Thedescriptive research used the qualitative method,with the subject of this research is teacher and student of class XI fashion at SMK MuhammadiyahImogiri Yogyakarta in academic year 2015/2016.Methods of data collection include:/ observation,interview, and documentation. Data validity usingtriangulation. Data analysis techniques include:/data reduction, data presentation, conclusion. andverification. The results showed: (1) Lesson planning is less effective, planning documents such asyearly and semester programs are incomplete, andless developed RPP. 2) Implementation of learningis good enough, shown the method of explaining,assignment, demonstration, and practice; Learningmedia using dummy equipped with job sheet andhandout to help students understand in making draping pattern. (3) Evaluation of learning outcomesmakes the draping pattern quite good, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessment with100% final grade students above the Maximum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM). (4) Obstacles or obstacles faced in learning make draping pattern thatis; Dense teacher work, lack of communication between teachers, and inadequate practice facilities sothat students use pass pop interchangeably

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe theapplication of hygiene and sanitation in thelaboratory of Boga, including understanding,implementation, and supporting factors and itsinhibitors. The research used descriptivequalitative with object hygiene and sanitationcatering laboratory at State Vocational HighSchool (SMKN) 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. Methods ofdata collection: observation, interview,documentation. Data validity using triangulationtechnique. Data analysis techniques include datareduction, data presentation, conclusions, andverification. The results show students'understanding of hygiene-sanitation is still low,teachers should always be reminded. Theapplication of hygiene and sanitation in thelaboratory is quite good, it is shown that studentsalways keep clean clothes, nails, hair, cleanenough room, good ventilation, well-groomedsinks, fluid ducts, well-groomed practiceequipment, and neatly arranged. Factorssupporting the implementation of hygiene andsanitation in the laboratory of Boga, namely: theavailability of facilities that are complete enoughto support the smoothness of students practices,cleanliness equipment, and adequate water.Inhibiting factors do not yet have laboratory staff,there are no standard operational procedures(SOP) that regulate hygiene-sanitation in thelaboratory and the sanctions are firm

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know: Internal Factors and External Factors that affect the basic learning outcomes of sewing technology. The population of the study were the students of X class of fashion in SMK Negeri 1 Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta, which numbered 128 students from 4 classes. This study included is quantitative descriptive research. Technique of sampling usingproportional random sampling with amount of sample 74 student. The data collection technique used questionnaire and tested to 30 students outside the sample but still in one population. Data tested the validity, reliability and data analysis techniques product moment correlation. The results showed that the factors that influence the basic learning outcomes of technology sewing X class students in fashion majors most of the respondents in the category enough. Based on these data, the factors that influence the basic learning result of sewing technology are internal factor with 52,6%.Keywords: the factors that influence the learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know (1) the intensityeffect of seeing fashion show from internet to learning result,(2) intensity of viewing fashion show from internet, and(3) learning result. The type of research used ex-post facto.The sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling,with Slovin formula. Data collection by questionnaires anddocumentation methods. Validity used Product Momentand reliability used Cronbach Alpha. Data analysistechnique used descriptiv analysis and hypothesis test usingProduct Moment and it was started by normality andlinearity test. The study shows that (1) there was a positiveand significant between intensity effect of viewing fashionshow from internet and learning result, gave a contributionfashion show from the internet to learning result of 44.5%,while the remaining 55.5% influenced by other factors; (2)the intensity of viewing fashion show from the internet infair categories; (3) learning result in fair category

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui implementasi manajemen teaching factory di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Kalasan Program Studi Kriya Kulit dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi industri yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi; (2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam implementasi manajemen teaching factory di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Kalasan Program Studi Kriya Kulit dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi industri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Waktu penelitian dilakukan bulan November – Desember 2017. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, interview (wawancara) dengan bentuk wawancara mendalam (in depth interview) dan studi pustaka (dokumen). Hasil peneltian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) implementasi manajemen teaching factory di SMK Negeri 4 sudah baik, perencanaan program kerja teaching factory di SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan sudah direncanakan dengan baik dan didasari landasan hukum yang telah kuat atau sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan RI. Pembuatan perencanaan didasarkan hasil evaluasi atas pelaksanaan sebelumnya yang dilakukan dengan analisis Program yang direncanakan tersebut merupakan usaha yang dilakukan sekolah guna mencapai tujuan sekolah yang telah ditetapkan. Pelaksanaan teaching factory di SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan sudah baik. Hal ini terlihat dari tersedianya sumber daya manusia yang kompeten, adanya kemitraan yang baik dengan perusahaan atau instansi di sekitar jogja, adanya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, dan adanya produk hasil karya siswa berupa kria kulit yang berkualitas. Evaluasi TEFA di SMK N 1 Kalasan telah dilakukan dengan melibatkan semua pihak pengelola TEFA, baik Kepala Sekolah, guru, maupun karyawan. Evaluasi digunakan untuk membuat perencanaan selanjutnya. (2) Faktor pendukung implementasi manajemen teaching factory di SMK Negeri 4 adalah: dari lingkup unit usaha, perkiraan jumlah atau volume pembeli potensia, proyeksi jumlah pembeli 5 tahun ke depan, dari segi produksi, dari segi bahan baku yang kesemuanya memadai. Selain itu memiliki kelebihan-kelebihan dibanding produk pabrikan. Faktor Penghambat implementasi manajemen teaching factory di SMK Negeri 4 adalah: keterbatasan dalam menerima order besar (masal), kelemahan modal usaha, dan kelemahan dalam hal ketepatan waktu.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Manajemen Teaching Factory, Program Studi Kriya Kulit, Upaya Peningkatan Kompetensi Industri

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kurikulum berbasis life skill, yang meliputi: (1) perencanaan, (2) pengorganisasian, (3) pelaksanaan, (4) evaluasi, dan (5) faktor penghambat di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Darma Putra Semin Gunungkidul Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Darma Putra Semin Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah urusan kurikulum, urusan sarana dan prasarana, urusan kesiswaan, tenaga ahli, serta guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan tiga langkah, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perencanaan kurikulum berbasis life skill di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Darma Putra Semin Gunungkidul adalah baik, dilakukan dengan menetapkan tujuan dan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan keterampilan hidup siswa dan menentukan kesesuaian program. (2) Pengorganisasian dilakukan melalui penunjukan guru yang mengajar, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, serta penyusunan materi pembelajaran. (3) Pelaksanaan kurikulum berbasis life skill di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Darma Putra Semin Gunungkidul dilaksanakan dengan baik, melalui kerjasama antara sekolah, komite dan pemerintah, (4) evaluasi implementasi manajemen kurikulum berbasis life skill untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus dapat dikembangkan dengan memberi bekal kecakapan hidup, (5) kendala dalam impementasi kurikulum berbasis life skill meliputi sarana prasarana yang belum memadai, terbatasnya sumber dana yang ada, dan jumlah pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan masih kurang. Kata kunci: manajemen, kurikulum, kurikulum berbasis life skill
