Abstract

During the postpartum period mother needs counseling on the use of contraception methods. Contraceptives are needed before menstruation returns to prevent pregnancy. The purpose of this research was to know the influence postpartum counseling and mother's individual factors on use contraception methods in Kupang City. This study was quasi-experimental. 64 respondents were selected through purposive sampling and divided into 2 groups, 32 people were given counseling and 32 were not. Data collection used questionnaires. Data analysis was bivariate and multivariate. The result showed 22 respondents (68.75%) got counseling about postpartum contraception and 8 (25%) did not. The result of chi square test showed significant value of ρ = 0.000, indicating that there is influence of postpartum maternal counseling on the use of contraception methods. It is concluded that there is an influence of postpartum maternal counseling and knowledge on the use of contraception methods by mothers in Kupang City. Abstract

The rate of population growth in Indonesia which continues to increase is the reason for the creation of the family planning program. The community is given the freedom to choose the contraceptive method they want to control the number of children. In Kota Kupang, the number of NonMKJP acceptors was higher than that of MKJP acceptors. Non MKJP contraceptives affect hormonal, and if used for a long time will affect the health of the body. This study aims to analyze the effect of the level of education and family support on the choice of contraceptive methods for family planning acceptors in Kupang City. This research is an analytical study using cross sectional method. This research was conducted from May to June 2020. The data collected were primary data using a questionnaire. The number of samples in this study were 200 people, selected by random sampling technique The results obtained were that the level of education and family support were closely related to the choice of contraceptives for family planning acceptors in Kupang City

Abstract

Period of pregnancy is a period, that is very prone to health problem, both the health of the mother and thr fetus, so that during pregnancy it is neressary to check regularly in order to avoid distractions as early as possible, from anything that endangers the health of the mother an the fetus she is carrying.Antenatal Care (ANC) is a form of screening, health of problems in mother and fetus. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the utilization Pasir Panjang Puskesmas, Kupang. The study design used was a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. Sampel of 58 respondents of pregnant women who are in the Pasir Panjang Puskesmas, Kupang from January until August 2020. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Dara analysis using the chi square test at the level of significance a=0,05. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, husband’s support and the use of antenatal care and there is no relationship between age and distance. Researchers suggest that pregnant woman can play an active role in utilizing health service property so that they can reduce maternal and child mortality Key words: Antenatal Care, age, knowledge, distance, facilities husband’s support.

Abstract

The puerperium is a time when the female reproductive organs recover to their pre-pregnancy state. Anatomically the condition of the mother's body will experience changes after the birth process, one of which is the return of the uterus to its original size. This process is called uterine involution. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the process of uterine involution during the postpartum period in the working area of ​​the Sikumanan Health Center, Kupang City.This type of research used an analytic survey with a cohort approach. Univariate and bivariate data analysis. The research sample was 64 people. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling, namely 64 post partum mothers at the Sikumana Health Center in August - October 2022. This data analysis used the Chi-Square test with an α value of 0.005. Results: The results of the study showed that 90.6% of the respondents were of a healthy age. The parity of the respondents is mostly a little as much as 68.8%. Most of the education levels are low, 81.2%. The nutritional status of respondents is 64%)/Lila is not KEK. Respondents who did postpartum exercise by 50%.Conclusion: There is a relationship between nutritional status and postpartum exercise with uterine involution (p-value 0.004 , p-value 0.000). There is no relationship between age, parity and education with uterine involution (p-value 1,000, p-value 0.591 and P-value 0.199).Keywords: age, parity, education, nutritional status, uterine involution postpartum exercise.

Abstract

Acetate Manual Inspection is an examination of the presence of pre-cancerous lesions on the cervix by smearing it with a 3-5% vinegar solution IVA examination is the easiest way to detect cervical cancer early. The purpose of this literature review is to find out the factors that influence IVA examination. The literature review method used is the literature review study method from articles that have been selected and analyzed from several sources so that they become a new discussion. The results of this literature study found 12 articles on factors that influenced the IVA examination, consisting of age, education, knowledge, occupation, role of officers, health services, access to information, income, husband's support, and attitude. Conclusion Based on the results of the analysis of the 12 articles conducted, the factors that influence the IVA examination are husband's support, attitude, role of officers, knowledge, education, access to information, and there is 1 article which analyzes the husband's support factor which does not affect WUS in the IVA examination Keywords: WUS, IVA
