Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) upaya peningkatan profesionalisme guru program keahlian akuntansi dalam proses pembelajaran. (2) kendala-kendala yang meng-hambat upaya peningkatan profesionalisme guru program keahlian akuntansi dalam proses pembelajaran. (3) upaya yang dilakukan guna mengatasi kendala yang menghambat upaya peningkatan profesionalisme guru program keahlian akuntansi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan untuk pengumpulan data digunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang di-gunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) upaya peningkatan profesionalisme guru program keahlian akuntansi dalam proses pembelajaran telah dilakukan oleh tiga pihak yaitu dinas Dikpora, kepala sekolah, dan guru program keahlian akuntansi. Dinas Dikpora telah mengadakan workshop dan seminar. Kepala sekolah mengadakan rapat sekolah, workshop, supervisi, memberikan reward, mendorong untuk membuat karya ilmiah dan studi lanjut, sedangkan guru program keahlian akuntansi mengikuti workshop dan seminar, aktif di MGMP, mengikuti sertifikasi, studi lanjut, dan belajar dari berbagai media. (2) kendala yang menghambat upaya peningkatkan profesionalisme guru program keahlian akuntansi ada dua macam yaitu kendala dari dalam berupa banyaknya pekerjaan guru dan kendala dari luar berupa kurangnya sarana prasarana, keterbatasan anggaran, dan MGMP akuntansi kurang aktif. (3) upaya untuk mengatasi kendala yang terjadi oleh guru program keahlian akuntansi yaitu membagi waktu sebaik mungkin, tidak menunda pekerjaan, mengajukan permohonan kepada sekolah, memanfaatkan sarana prasarana semaksimal mungkin, dan menyusun jadwal pertemuan MGMP. Kepala sekolah dan Dinas Dikpora dapat mengadakan kegiatan di waktu senggang, memenuhi sarana prasarana yang belum tersedia, meningkatkan anggaran, mengadakan workshop dan seminar melalui MGMP, dan memberikan uang stimulan.   Kata kunci: kompetensi guru, peningkatan profesionalisme guru, proses pembelajaran.   ABSTRACT The objectives of this study was (1) to investigate the effort of improving the accounting program teachers professionalism in learning process, (2) to investigate the problems that constraint the effort of improving the accounting program teachers professionalism in learning process, and (3) to investigate the solutions to overcome the problems occurring in the effort of improving the accounting program teachers professionalism in learning process. This study belonged to qualitative descriptive research and, for data collection, purposive sampling and snowball sampling was used. Data collection method used was interview, observation, and documentation. The result of the study showed that (1) the effort of improving the accounting program teachers professionalism in learning process have been done by three parties, such as education, youth, and sport department; headmasters, and the accounting program teachers. The department have been by conducting workshops and seminars. Headmasters are by conducting school meetings, workshops, supervisions; giving rewards; encouraging for the teachers conduct erudition and further education, while the accounting program teachers are by participating workshops and seminars, actively participating in MGMP, participating certification, further education, and learning through various medias. (2) Problems faced in the effort of improving the accounting program teachers professionalism in learning process were classified into two, which are the internal problems is the large number of tasks to do by the teachers and the eksternal problems are the lack of infrastructure, the lack of budget, and the low level of participation in the MGMP of Accounting (3) The efforts to overcome the problems occurring by the accounting program teachers were: managing the time as good as possible, not delaying the tasks to be done, file a repetition to headmasters, as maximally as possible use the available infrastructure, and arranging meeting schedule agreed. The headmasters and departement can create some activities in free time, provide infrastructure that was not available yet, increase the budget, conduct workshop as well as seminars through MGMP, and provide stimulant money.   Key words: teacher competence, teachers? professionalism improvement, learning process
