Abstract

Geological mapping is one of the methods to study the geological state of an area, in addition to studying it from existing literature. In geological mapping discussed about the condition of geomorphology, stratigraphy, geological structure so that the results of the overall geological conditions and recommendations in the form of potentials and disaster-prone areas in the research area. The research area located in Sungai Puar Village, Renah Mendaluh District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, Jambi Province is included in the South Sumatra Basin, where the basin was formed from extensional tectonics at the beginning of the Late Eocene. Stratigraphically in the research area there are Oligocece - Early Miocene Talangakar Formations and Early - Late Miocene-aged Gumai Formations. Regional stratigraphically the stratigraphic relationship of these two formations is in harmony with the deposition environment of the transitional Talangakar Formation – shallow sea, while for the Gumai Formation it belongs to the shallow marine deposition environment. The purpose of this research is to know the geological condition of the research area. In the method used for data analysis is the geological mapping method itself.

Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of the Effect of Education, Health, Sanitation and Average Number of Family Members per Household on Poverty in Indonesia in 2013-2020. The location used in this study is Indonesia and the population in this study is 34 provinces. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2013-2020 as well as journals related to this research. The method used is Multiple Linear Regression with Panel Data approach which is processed using Eviews-10 software. The results of this study indicate that the fixed effect model is the best model with results showing that partially education and sanitation variables have a negative and significant effect. The results of this study support the poverty circle theory and the theory of human capital. Education is one of the human capital to increase productivity, with good productivity it will affect work and income which can later be used as a reference to get out of poverty. The sanitation variable supports the theory of human capital and has a relationship with public health which will also affect the quality of community productivity. Meanwhile, health variables and the average number of family members per household have no effect on poverty in Indonesia in 2013-2020. The implication of this research is that the government is expected to provide adequate educational facilities and provide counseling about the importance of sanitation to health in reducing poverty. The limitations of this study are that it only uses four independent variables and the period of time used is only 8 years.

The object of this research is 35 districts/cities in Central Java Province. The technique in this research uses scalogram analysis and gravity model analysis. The results of this study are based on the analysis of the scalogram and centrality index in 2019 using 30 types of facilities, resulting in 6 regional hierarchies based on the availability of types of facilities in each district/city. Hierarchy I is the district/city with the most availability of facilities/has the highest centrality value, namely there are 11 districts/cities. In hierarchy II there are 5 districts/cities. Hierarchy III has 7 districts/cities. Hierarchy IV has 6 districts/cities. Hierarchy V and hierarchy VI have 4 and 2 districts/cities, respectively. While the results from the gravity analysis show that Semarang City as one of the growth centers in 2019 has a strong interaction with Semarang Regency, Demak Regency, Kendal Regency, and Grobogan Regency.
