Abstract

The function of kulintang music for the Komering tribe is as a supporting means to carry out the entire process of customary marriage of the Komering tribe. One of the marriage process in it there is a procession using milur dance accompanied by kulintang music. The concept of mat is a distinctive character as well as a guideline in the kulintang music game, so the writer is interested in studying the concept of mat in the komering kulintang music, especially in accompanying the milur dance. This study also analyzes the shape and structure of the kulintang music mat concept in the stages of the Komering marriage, especially in accompanying the milur dance. The analysis includes musical elements contained in the form and structure of the musical presentation such as phrases, figures and motifs. This study uses qualitative methods and data collection is done by observation, interviews, study of written data and documents. The results of this study conclude that the concept of mat in kulintang music to accompany the milur dance is a guideline for coordinating musical games so that each player can play his musical instruments correctly and appropriately. Whereas the form of kulintang music in accompanying the milur dance always begins with the concept of mat in each of its performances.

Abstract

This research tittle is the Form And Strucuture Of Presentation Of Music In Process Kulintang Procession Komering Interest In Traditional Wedding In Oku East. Kulintang music is means of a tribal society of komering in marriage. That staging in customery marriage are parade process, milur dance, giving the customery law, and sada sabai dance. But in its development nowadays the existence of kulintang music is declining in customery marriage.Based on the fact, this research aims to reveal the factors that affect the existence of kulintang music in East OKU. Besides, this research to do the description of analysis form and structure of kulintang music in every stage of the komering family marriage. Analysis includes the elements of musical the form and structure of the prersensation of kulintang music. The technique of collecting data to do with an observation, interviews, study says and documents. For analysis then used the method of analysis form and structure of music. In addition to the existence and the dynamics of the music kulintang not justbe descriptive, then this research will borrow the concepts of culture, music, and social community to have a perspective that is analytical. The study conclude that the cause of the decrease existence of the kulintang music in east OKU is because the disappearance of clan system in 1979. Clans system that change into district made there was no more loyality to the customery marriage process that use kulintang music. Internal and external factor are also influence thing to the existence of kulintang music. That internal and external factor consist of management, less of capability to play kulintang, motivation, finance, government role, and influence goreign culture. Keywords: kulintang; customery marriage; dynamics; form and structure music

Abstract

Reog Ponorogo Singomodo Guyub Rukun is one of several arts that exist in the Sumber Rahayu community. Reog Ponorogo is an art form that is still alive and developing in the Muara Enim district, one of which is in the village of Sumber Rahayu. The problem in this study is how the form of the Reog Ponorogo Art performance in Sumber Rahayu Village, Rembang District, Muara Enim Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out and describe the form of the Reog Ponorogo art performance in Sumber Rahayu Village, Rembang District, Muara Enim Regency. The research method used by the author is qualitative. Thesource of the data in this study is several artists in the arts of Reog Ponorogo, Singo, easy to get along with. By using data collection techniques namely observation interviews and documentation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the movements of the Pirdi dance at the Nusa Kirana Art Studio, Palembang. The method used by researchers is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques for this study used observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained in this study are that the Pirdi dance is a dance from the city of Palembang which is categorized as a creative dance created in 1972 and has been performed in more than 27 countries from 1994 to 2002, this dance functions as entertainment. This dance tells about the life of the people of Palembang city, the number of dancers can be even or odd, it can be danced by females and male dancers, and it can also be female dancers. songket spans, 2) the prayer movement assembling the plate and 3) theprayer movement assembling the jug. Middle/ core movement, consisting of 1) deer jumping motion, 2) begelut squirrel movement, 3) repetition 4) deer jumping motion, 5) squirrel twisting motion, 6) gazing motion, 7) repetition of deer jumping.

Abstract

Singing folk songs in unison or individually folk songs is still low, especially for subjects that lead to performance practices, this is seen from the minimum completeness criteria because there is still a lack of knowledge about tonic intonation and articulation. This research is to find out whether learning to sing folk songs using the drill method can improve the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMPN Muara Kulam. The method used in this study is a qualitative description of the data sources used areclass VII students and Mrs. Dian Permata Sari, S. Pd as a teacher of SMP Negeri Muara Kulam, themethod used in this learning is the drill method of data collection techniques in this study, namelyobservation, interviews and documentation based on the data analyzed which was carried out in theconclusion that learning to sing folk songs using the method drill on class VII students of SMP Negeri Muara Kulam can improve student learning outcomes can be seen from the value before using the drill method and after using the drill method before using the drill method subject the number of students in class VII is 29 "very good" 3 students, with the criteria " good' numbered 26 people. After using the subject drill method as many as 29 students of class VII with the criteria of "very good" totaling 22 students, with the criteria of "good" 7 students. In the implementation of the cultural arts teacher hasapplied the right method this can be seen from the learning outcomes of students who get an average score average 86 -100.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with descriptive research method. The data collectiontechniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of interviews from the Cultural Arts subject teacher at MTS Al-Ikhsan Betung, Mr. Slamet Riyadi, S.Pd., stated that the students' ability to learn the Sedulang Setudung dance offering was very good, as seen from the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of students in learning activities ranging from theory to practice. This is of course supported by the teacher's ability to choose the right learning model, namely Direct Instruction which plays an important role in achieving student learning outcomes. Based on the results of research on the learning of the Sedulang Setudung dance offering using the direct instruction model in the Class VIII Cultural Arts subject at MTS Al-Ikhsan Betung which wascarried out through 4 learning stages, which included Orientation, Presentation, Practice under the guidance of the teacher, and evaluation which was the final process to determine the level ofunderstanding of students, measuring the level of success of teachers who teach, and knowing theadvantages and disadvantages of the learning model used. 28 students managed to get a scoreabove the predetermined KKM. Of course, it is supported by appropriate learning tools and theselection of the right learning model.

Abstract

Folk songs have moral and ethical values that are very useful, to be used as a life guide for all children of the nation for an ideal stage in character building. Regional songs are often called traditional songs, each song in the archipelago has its uniqueness, be it in terms of beauty, the uniqueness of melodies, instruments, lyrics, and harmonies. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, which presents data using sentences in the form of narrative text. While the approach of this researchwith a direct approach using musicological science. The originator of the thousand songs is still unknown until now because the songwriter just sparked when doing the tembangan and according to information from the previous story the song ribu ribu the creator has died therefore the ribu ribu song has no patent owner but can be preserved. The ribu ribu song is well developed and very well received because this song includes tembangan or another word for tembangan according to the local language or Rambanglanguage is "Betembang" which means singing, until now the ribu ribu songs is still used in weddings. The use of ribu ribu songs at weddings in the Rambang Niru area is a tradition of the local community because ribu ribu songs are used to release the bride and groom because they are married and will live a new life, ribu ribu songs are a blend of between two families who feel happy because the child has found a soul mate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Adakah Efektivitas Penerapan Metode Out Door Terhadap Pembelajaran Tari Pada Kelas X di SMA PGRI Gelumbang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kategoripre-test and post-test one group yaitu sebuah eksperimen yang dilakukan sebelum eksperimen (pre-test) dan sesudah eksperimen (post-test) (Arikunto, 2013: 124). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teknik Tes. Teknik Analisis Data dalam peneltian ini menggunakan a) Analisis Data Tes, b) Uji Normalitas Data, c) Uji Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengujian normalitas didapatkan data terdistribusi normal, maka analisis data tes akhir yang telah diuraikan sebelumnya. Diketahui uji t hipotesis dengan    dengan  = 9,44 dan  dan dk = diperoleh  2,04. Sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima atau   atau 9,44  2,04. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan metode out door dalam hasil pembelajaran Tari tanggai pada siswa kelas X.2.D SMA PGRI Gelumbang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe the role of the Sighe Setangkai Art Studio in the development of dance arts in the Empat Lawang area, especially traditional dance and creative dance in Empat Lawang Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, while data collection is carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis in writing research results consists of three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that Sanggar Sighe Setangkai has a role in the development of dance in Empat Lawang Regency. The role of the Sighe Setangkai Studio in the development of dance in Empat Lawang Regency is carried out through studio activities related to dance production, training and performance activities. The role of Sanggar Sighe Setangkai in qualitative dance development can be seen from dance production activities. The role of Sanggar Sighe Setangkai in quantitative dance development can be seen from training activities and dance performances.
