Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu, kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar dari nilai rapor. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,417. Nilai rtabel = 0,297 untuk N = 44 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai rhitung (0,417) > rtabel (0,297) maka diputuskan menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1) dan menolak hipotesis awal (H0). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe MURDER untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika di kelas X TKJ A SMK Negeri 1 Poso Pesisir Utara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TKJ A yang berjumlah 20 siswa, terbagi atas 8 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempua serta di pilih 3 siswa sebagai informan. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus I banyaknya siswa yang tuntas yakni 14 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 70% dan pada siklus II banyak siswa yang tuntas yakni 17 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 85%. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe MURDER yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TKJ A SMK Negeri 1 Poso Pesisir Utara pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika, dengan enam komponen yaitu: 1) Mood, 2) Understand, 3) Recall, 4) Detect, 5) Expand, 6) Review. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif Tipe MURDER; Hasil Belajar; Barisan dan Deret Aritmatika Abstract: This study aims to obtain a description of the application of the MURDER type cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes in arithmetic sequence and sequence material in class X TKJ A of SMK Negeri 1 Poso North Coast. The subjects of this study were students of class X TKJ A, amounting to 20 students, divided into 8 male students and 12 female students and 3 students were selected as informants. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which refers to the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart namely (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle the number of students who completed were 14 students with a percentage of completeness of 70% and in the second cycle many students were completed ie 17 students with a percentage of completeness 85%. The results of the observation of teacher activities in the first cycle were in the good category and experienced an increase in the second cycle in the very good category. Abstract

Partners of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) are the SD Teachers Working Group (KKG) Cluster I Region. Problems faced by partner groups: 1). The mastery of the teachers / KKG members on the material and discussion of math and science Olympiad questions is still low. 2) The elementary school teachers in the cluster I areas were generally D2 and S1 PGSD alumni, where at the time they were studying only basic mathematics and science material, which had a low level of abstraction. This causes teachers / KKG members in the region to often misunderstand the basic concepts of mathematics and science. 3). In addition, references that can be used as enrichment materials are also lacking, and 4). Available sources to ask questions about the mathematics and science Olympiad material are also lacking, because the South Banawa sub-district is located in the border area of ​​the provinces of Central Sulawesi and West Sulawesi. The goal of PKM is to improve the ability of elementary school teachers to solve math and science Olympiad questions, so that later they can guide students who will take part in the district, provincial and national level Olympiad. The expected output target in PKM activities is that at least 5 KKG members in the cluster I region can work on the 2019 city level Olympic questions, so that they can guide their students to qualify for the provincial level selection. After this activity is completed, the participants are expected to be able to pass on their knowledge to other fellow teachers. The book is the result of discussion of Olympic questions at the city and provincial levels, the work of the regional KKG members to be used as one of the future references. To achieve this target, the method used in this PKM activity is to provide training on material and discussion of mathematics and science Olympiad questions, basic concepts of mathematics and science which are important and support for following mathematics and science materials which require higher analysis. Provide assistance to ensure the material presented to partners can be implemented properly so that the results obtained can reach the target.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang kolaborasi model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII A SMP Labschool UNTAD Palu pada materi luas permukaan dan volume limas. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus I banyaknya siswa yang tuntas yakni 14 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 66,67% dan pada siklus II banyak siswa yang tuntas yakni 16 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 76,19%. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I berada  pada kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 23 siswa dan dipilih tiga sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII A SMP Labschool UNTAD Palu pada materi luas permukaan dan volume limas, dengan enam komponen yaitu: 1) Stimulation dan Think, 2) Problem Statement dan Think, 3) Data Collection dan Pair, 4) Data Processing dan Share, 5) Verification dan Share, 6) Generalization. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS); Hasil Belajar; Luas Permukaan dan Volume Limas.
