Abstract

Da'wah is an effort that is carried out deliberately and consciously by inviting others to the right path, namely to do good and to prevent evil acts. The purpose of Da'wah is the goal of the initial stage to save mankind from the valley of darkness and lead them into light, from a misguided path to the straight path. Da'wah also guides mankind from the valley of polytheism with all forms of misery to monotheism that promises contentment, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic which continues to plague almost all corners of the world. Currently the utilization of information technology developments can be perceived everywhere and that it is undeniable that technology is required in most everyday life. For instance, in most socialization activities that covers various aspects of life, social media is ensured to have a role in making it public. Social media can also have a massive influence in someone's in the community, especially teenagers. Social media has become an addiction that makes its users can't get away for one second without being on social media. Then, because Islam is a religion that is "rahmatan lil alamin" (A mercy for all creation), it must be conveyed to all people.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that applies a democratic political system. One of the means of the democratic political system in Indonesia is the General Election. The implementation of a democratic election should be carried out in accordance with the election principles abided by Indonesia, namely Luber-Jurdil (Direct, General, Free, Confidential, Honest, Fair). In order for the principle of Luber-Jurdil to be carried out, supervisions are requireds. Supervision is not only carried out by Panwaslu (General Election Supervisory Agency), the public also have to play a role in that supervision. The public can monitor, either directly or indirectly, the process of running a democracy / elections. The results of the current study show that there were several causes of abstention in the last 2018 elections, namely: 1) Internal factors which include technical factor and occupational factor, 2). External factors which include administrative factor, and political factor. There are also solutions to reduce the number of abstentions for the next election by easing the rules for voters to be able to vote, improving the data collection and voter registration system so that it has fresher outlook (requires adequate personnel and budget support), changing the right to vote into an obligation to vote. The electoral system must be very easy for voters to understand (for example, easy voting procedures, simple ballot paper design). For those solutions, it is necessary to involve strategic groups, such as first-time voters, religious people, women, people with disabilities and marginalized groups.

Abstract

Technology and information is currently growing rapidly so that it can be used by anyone with creative work and to communicate without any limitations. Along with the development of the times, there is a new media with the type of social media Instagram. Instagram is in great demand by many people, so it is easier to convey any information in the form of writing, photos or videos. The purpose of this study is to find out how account managers can attract other Instagram users to participate in promoting tourism in Jember Regency and how to respond to tourist uploads on the @pesonajember Instagram account. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this study are Instagram can be used to convey information in the form of promoting tourism in Jember Regency. The communication process is appropriate in the mass communication process and there are several effects that are caused to other Instagram users who see travel posts. The existence of the @pesonajember account makes some tours more known by many people.

Abstract

Marketing communication is a means of informing, persuading, and reminding consumers directly or indirectly about the products and brands being sold. In the context of this research, marketing communication is carried out with regard to the service products offered by the Asy-Syarifiy Islamic boarding school. In particular, that is done through the Tik-Tok social media account. Because it is classified as an Islamic educational institution, in each stage of marketing communication, there are nuances of preaching that are delivered. Da'wah and marketing communications are the focus of research in this article. The Tik-Tok account analyzed is @Kingzadma which belongs to the boarding school caregiver. The purpose of this study is to describe the da'wah model and marketing communication strategy of the Asy-Syarifiy Islamic boarding school through social media Tik-Tok @Kingzadma. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the da'wah model and marketing communication strategy carried out by the Tik-Tok @Kingzadma account uses four elements, namely, entertainment, interaction, trendiness and customization. Da'wah and marketing communications are carried out through the exploration of these four elements. Entertainment is everything in the form of words, places, objects, behaviors that can be comfort or consolation for a difficult or sad heart. Interaction is a meeting between a person and another individual. Trendiness is the ability to browse trending content on Tik-Tok and adapt it to your own content. Customization is a presentation in a video or video display to make it more interesting.
