Abstract

The study aims to describe the characteristics of unemployed workers in Central Java Province and to determine the model of educated unemployment duration. It uses the linear regression model of 1721 workforces that are sampled from National Labor Survey 2015. The model regress the unemployment duration on age, sex, education level, income during unemployment period and GRDP of the industrial, service and agricultural sectors. Findings and Originality: The results show that variables of age, sex, the income of job seekers, education level at junior and senior high school level and GRDP in the agricultural sector have a positive effect on the unemployment duration. The variables of the status of household head, the high school education level, as well as the GRDP service sector, negatively effect the unemployment duration. Thus, it is recommended for the Central Java province government to develop service sectors to shorten the duration of unemployment in Central Java Province.Keywords: Unemployment Duration, Search Theory

Abstract

The purpose of this research is determine the effect of tax knowledge and service quality on taxpayer compliance in KPP Pratama Semarang Gayamsari. The population used in this study is the individual taxpayer employees who are registered at the Pratama Semarang Gayamsari Tax Service Office with a total of 15,901 people. This study is conducted against 100 respondents using the Non-Probability Sampling method with the Incidental sampling technique. Data analysis used is the instrumental test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate, that the level of tax knowledge and service quality has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance. The results of the coefficient of determination show that the level of tax knowledge and service quality jointly contribute to taxpayer compliance by 32%. The remaining 68% of taxpayer compliance is influenced by other factors not examined in this study

Abstract

PT. Samudera Agencies Indonesia Semarang Branch’s company performance which can be explained by export volume, fluctuates every month from 2017-2020. Factors that could be the cause of these fluctuations are the container availability and exchange rates. The research aims to analyze the influence of Container Availability on export volume, and the influence of Container Availability on export volume with Exchange Rate as a moderator variable at PT. Samudera Agencies Indonesia Semarang Branch’s and to find out the contributions of all independent variables and moderator variable to dependent variable. This research is an explanatory research with quantitive approach. Simple Linear Regression Analysis and Moderator Regression Analysis method is used in this study equipped with the Descriptive Statistics Test, Classic Assumption Test, Coefficient of Determination, and T-Test. Data used in this study are secondary data which are obtained by collecting the data from Samudera Agencies Indonesia Semarang Branch and Bank of Indonesia from January 2017-February 2020. The output from this research shows that the independent variable has a significant effect on the company performance of Samudera Agencies Indonesia Semarang Branch, and exchange rate can moderate the influence between container availability and company performance. Suggestion that can be taken are paying attention to the number of container availability so they can meet exporters’ demand and export volume of the company will meet higher number at maximum, and an effective strategy to allow them to benefit from advantageous rates, as well as deal with the downside risk. Further study is needed to investigate the other factors that influence export volume/company performance

Abstract

This research examines the influenceKITEfacilities and Rupiah exchange rate to exportvalues in Central Java using the monthly datafrom January 2006 until December 2011usessecondary data from some governmentinstance in Central Java, and using themultiple linier regression analysis by SPSSversion 16.0.The objective of this research is to analysis ofinfluence KITE facilities and Rupiahexchange rate to export values in CentralJava.The results simultaneous by F-test indicatedthat the present KITE facilities and Rupiahexchange rate affected export values inCentral Java significantly. Abstract

Object of this article is the culinary industry in Semarang. This article was formulated based on the important fact is found in the field. Where the facts show competition in the culinary industry at this time spawned creativity in formulating the business name of culinary and culinary quality. This is a unique name on one side in an effort to build differentiation to competitors and at the same time aims to influence customer satisfaction. While in the culinary industry it remains an aspect of quality of other important things into superior value. This article attempts to explore further the factors that led to the better culinary value and how the value of culinary and business names into determinants of customer satisfaction. Formulation variables and indicators of the article refer to the previous article. A model has been developed and four hypotheses have been formulated to address the problem of this article. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and quota sampling. Respondents from this article numbered 100 respondents, of which the respondent is a culinary consumer around Semarang State Polytechnic. Data analysis tool used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in AMOS 18.0 program. The results of the data analysis this article shows the results of the model and the fourth hypothesis can be accepted article. Managerial implications of providing advice to focus on the indirect effect culinary quality on customer satisfaction around Semarang State Polytechnic through consumer value have the most dominant coefficient.

Abstract

The research aims at knowing how influence of exports value and the Indonesian rupiah exchange rate to the economic growth in Central Java. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis with annual data year 1984-2013 and uses secondary data from government institution in Central Java. The data collect used a literature review. Partially, the independent variable of the export value give a significant effect on economic growth in Central Java. Partial regression test (t test) showed that H0 accepted and Ha rejected contained in the export value variable (X1). While the variable currency exchange rates also has a significant impact on economic growth in Central Java. Partial regression test (t test) showed that H0 accepted and Ha rejected contained in the export value variable (X2) but the exchange rate have influence negatif to the economic growth in Central Java. Simultaneously, the two independent variables significantly influence the economic growth in the province of Central Java.For the coefficient of determination value R Square (R2) of 0.634, which means 63.4% economic growth in Central Java Province can be explained by two Independent variables export and currency exchange rate While the remaining 36.6% is explained by other causes.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Sugar Consumption and International Sugar Prices on the volume of Sugar Imports in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data from 2010 to 2019 obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the World Bank. To be able to solve the problem using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, F test for simultaneous influence and t-test for partial effect. The t-test result shows that the sugar consumption partially has no significant effect, while the international sugar price partially has a significant effect on the volume of Indonesia’s sugar import. Simultaneously sugar consumption and international sugar prices have a significant effect of 52,6% toward the volume of Indonesia’s sugar import and the rest of 47,4% are from other variables.

Abstract

The success of a business is influenced by internal and external factors of the company. This study aims to determine the influence of Technical Factors, HR Factors, Operational Factors, and Financial Factors on SME Performance either partially or simultaneously. The data collection method in this study used observation, questionnaires and interviews conducted in Magelang City. The population used in this study is export-based SMEs in Magelang, while the sample used is 30 export-based SMEs. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the influence of Technical Factors, HR Factors, Operational Factors, and Financial Factors had a positive relationship to UKM Performance, but only HR Factor variables had a significant influence on UKM Performance. The coefficient of determination in this study is 36.6 % which means that the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable studied in this study is only 36.6% and the remaining 63.4% is explained by other variables outside this study

Abstract

Human resources have a very important role to achieve the goals and success of the company. One of them is supported by the behavior of employee who have competent performance. This study aims to test and analyze the influence of work discipline, work motivation, and work motivation on employee performance. The object of research in this paper is employees of the Agriculture and Plantation Service of Central Java Province. The data collection method used a questionnaire that was distributed to 90 respondents using a random sampling technique. The results of this study resulted in findings that partially work discipline variables have a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, work motivation and work competence have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, simultaneously the variables of work discipline, work motivation and work competence affect together on employee performance. The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.762 which means that the contribution of independent variables to the dependent variables is 76.2% while the remaining 23.8% is influenced by other variables that were not studied in this study

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Job Insecurity and Job Stress on Employee Turnover Intention at PT Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang. This study uses quantitative approach, samples that used in this study is 30 employees of the EMKL division of PT Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang. Data collection methods that used in this study are questionnaires, interviews and literature study. The questionnaire scale uses a semantic difference scale with a 10-point scale. The data analysis technique that used is multiple linear regression analysis equipped with classical assumption test, t test, f test and coefficient of determination with SPSS 25 software. The results of multiple linear regression show that 1) Job Insecurity (X1) has no partial effect on Turnover Intention (Y), 2) Job Stress (X2) has partial positive and significant effect on Turnover Intention (Y), 3) Job Insecurity (X1) and Job Stress (X2) together have a positive and significant effect on Turnover Intention (Y). The coefficient of determination shows that the variables Job Insecurity and Job Stress contribute 74% to turnover intention while the remaining 26% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study
