Abstract

The government has always supported various uses of digital-based technology aimed at increasing the productivity of MSMEs. MSME actors can expand their product marketing through the digital world or online, this is expected to accelerate the change of MSMEs in Indonesia towards digital. However, not all products issued by MSMEs can be widely known, especially by the public. The main reason is that they have not maximized the use of social media as a means of promotion. The purpose of this study is to find out what benefits make social media used as a means of promotion for business, especially for SMEs. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, which is a method that tries to explain and analyze phenomena, events, social dynamics, behavior, and the perception of a person or group of something. Utilization of social media for business actors can provide advantages, among others as a means of promotion or marketing, can establish relationships with consumers through personal contacts, can be used as consumer data collection, can convey information or responses to consumers. Social media has many benefits for most MSME actors in promoting their products. If social media has become part of the daily life of MSME actors as a means of promotion, then MSME products will be widely known by the public.

Abstract

Traditional herbal medicine is one of the health drinks that exist and come from many enthusiasts. Herbal drink is an ancestral heritage recipe for the people of Indonesia which is still preserved and developed to this day. The ingredients used in making herbal medicine are herbal plants that can be found in the surrounding environment. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental design method. The results of the organoleptic test of traditional herbal medicine with the addition of 30 grams of palm sugar resulted in an average respondent's answer, namely having the aroma of turmeric, Javanese sugar, sweet taste, dark yellow color, and a liquid texture. Stevia Sugar The results of the organoleptic test of herbal medicine with the addition of traditional stevia sugar as much as 30gr have results with - the average respondent's answer is that it has a taste like tea leaves, sweet taste tends to be bitter, dark brown in color, and has a thick texture. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the addition of stevia sugar to the sour turmeric herbal medicine is considered ineffective. The addition of palm sugar to the traditional herbal medicine turmeric acid is considered more effective.

Abstract

The development of technology today has greatly improved, resulting in influential business efforts of both large and small. Activities in promoting products globally can increase sales volume and profit by using digital marketing. In the majesty of Turi, there are quite a few societies that do business. However, among the MSMEs that have developed, they are still hampered by a lack of knowledge about online marketing. The reason many business actors do not carry out E-commerce activities is because they are more comfortable selling offline (directly), not interested in selling online and lack of knowledge or skills in online marketing. Therefore, a digital marketing strategy activity was held to increase the marketing of MSMEs in Turi Village in Blitar City. The goal is a strategic effort to increase marketing potential through digital marketing for MSMEs in Turi Village, Sukorejo District, Blitar City. The methods used in this activity are socialization, discussion, training and mentoring. The digital marketing strategy to increase marketing for MSMEs in Turi Village, Sukorejo District, Blitar City is carried out in several stages, namely digital marketing socialization and digital marketing training and assistance. It is hoped that MSMEs can apply product photos to attract consumer interest, use a marketplace, create a website to promote MSME products in Turi Village to increase marketing through social media

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the sectors that are well-known for the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This impact makes people's purchasing power decrease, and many consumers switch to making online purchases. So it is necessary to provide assistance to MSMEs regarding digital marketing through market places and marketing content, the importance of legality in easy business development, as well as skills for MSME businessmen to manage finances. The target of this community service activity is the owner of MSMEs in Plosokerep Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City. The implementation method used in this community service is the training method and door to door assistance for each MSME actor. Evaluation of the activities used in this community service is an element of skills and knowledge. The training provided by the 141 Thematic KKN MBKM UPN “Veteran” East Java group regarding the digitization of MSMEs succeeded in changing MSMEs in Plosokerep which were initially still conventional to digital. The purpose of this activity is that business actors can use the internet and technology to support product marketing and expand the reach of the target market through digital marketing.

Abstract

Avocados contain high amounts of fat. The fatty acids in avocados 60-80% are monounsaturated fatty acids. The predominant fatty acids in avocado oil are oleic (67-72%), palmitic (13-10%), palmitoleic (3-5.1%), and linoleic (10.4-12%). And the rest is linolenic (1.5%). The high oleic acid content in avocados is good for adding to ice puter. This study aims to perform organoleptic tests on the sensory properties of es puter in the form of aroma, color, texture, and taste in each different treatment using hedonic tests so that the best es puter can be determined in terms of sensory properties. There were two experiments conducted, namely the characteristic experiment of avocado ice puter with vegetable fat sources and avocado ice puter with animal fat sources. The results showed that the addition of cow's milk to the ice puter had a more fragrant avocado aroma, while the addition of soy milk to the ice puter did not smell avocado. The addition of cow's milk to the ice puter is darker green in color, while the addition of soy milk to the ice puter is pale green. The addition of cow's milk to the ice puter has a smooth texture, while the addition of soy milk to the ice puter has a slightly coarse texture.
