Polite character is a person's attitude in acting that cannot be separated from self-control from negative actions. The research method of this study is the survey method with descriptive-analytical techniques and data analysis using One Way Anova. The research was carried out in Aceh Tamiang by involving several tribes including; Acehnese, Malay, Batak, Padang, Javanese, Sundanese, Gayo, and Bandar tribes. Data collection was carried out using google form by the Polite Behavior Scale instrument. The results of the research contribute theoretically and practically to developing a polite character that can be a reference in the scientific repertoire of guidance and counseling. It is hoped that teenagers in Aceh Tamiang can maintain their friendly attitude, believing that ethnic differences are not an obstacle to positive behavior
