Abstract

Population growth and Semarang’s development which outspread into urban area cause increasing of land requirement in urban area. Gunungpati District, one of urban areas around Semarang, becomes the area of Semarang’s development. How the land conversion in Gunungpati District occurs is because city development outspreads into urban area as well assupported by some facilities such as education and settlements. Hence, many agricultural lands convert for nonagricultural activity in Gunungpati District. Land conversion, mainly agricultural land conversion, causes the change of social and economic condition as well as the change of livelihood or employment of population. The purposes of this research are to discover the impact of land conversion from agricultural land into developed land, to know the change of social and economic condition of community, and also to know the available employment opportunity after land conversion occurs in Gunungpati. The research approach used is qualitative approach and method used is matrix Leopold. Designed to determine the impact on the region's natural environment. So that can know the value impact of the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural in District Gunungpati Semarang. The result of this research shows that agricultural land conversion into developed land in Gunungpati District has positive effect towards social and economic condition of society and has negative effect towards natural environment surround. According to Leopold matrix, the positive effects has values 25 are good value shown by improving quality of life and increasing the varieties of livelihood or employment, whereas the negative effects has values -13 are bad value shown by decreasing the amount of agricultural land and damaging the sanitation or water infiltration in Gunungpati District. The agricultural land conversion is suggested to divert less productive agricultural land so that it would not damage ecological function of Gunungpati District as infiltration water area.

Abstract

District of Batubara is one of the coastal region in North Sumatera with a huge economy potential. In 2012 regional income per capita District of Batubara at 55,13 million rupiah and the highest in NorthSumatraProvince. Yet District of Batubara has district health problem because the District of Batubara is the coastal area. This study using a qualitative research .Besides through interviews and official documents , in this study done technique to calculate the value of achievement between the target and the realization of the implementation of the field of health in-patients at The Disctrict of BatubaraGeneral Hospital after regional autonomy .By means of this kind of analysis , it will be known to the achievement of the results of the implementation of the field of health in-patients at The Disctrict of BatubaraGeneral Hospital. Two programs that have been conducted by in-patient installation The Disctrict of BatubaraGeneral received a value of the achievement of activities as much as 82 % and 87 %.With weights each 50 percent of the value of the achievement of then program in-patient installation is as much as 84,5 % and it is categorized successfully or good .

Abstract

Puskesmas Kedungmundu Semarang has fungtions and tasks to give good health services to public. So, it could bring satisfaction of people. To follow up the statement above, in order to give services level. Besides, it can be an indicator for knowing what kind of service which need to be improved. It will be the supporter for services unit to improve its service quality.The aim of this research is to calculate pulic’s satisfaction index in scheme of improving health service at Puskesmas Kedungmundu Semarang. In the calculation of IKM for 14 items examined of services, each item has the same weightd value of 0,017. In order to simplify the interpretation of IKM, that is 25-100, so these result be conversed to 25 then be put into Cartesian diagram after being processed in order to have clearly result and also to understand the balance of performance of services and the public’s importance of service at Puskesmas Kedungmundu.These results show that the overall quality of basic health services at Puskesmas Kedungmundu Semarang has been good it can be seen from the IKM after conversion of 69,85 which was the interval from 62,51 to 81,25 conversion so the quality of service B and good service unit performance, but in the Cartesian diagram of the 14 elements of services in community satisfaction index still under performing elements, namely speed of service and convenience services,so it is still necessary to improve performance in that section.
