Abstract

The objective of this writing is to explore Iqbal’s thought about religion and politics as the basic concepts of religious freedom. This writing is done by doing research in library and running qualitative research based on philosophical approach. The study is analyzed through descriptive analysis to get accurate results from the objective of the study. The results of the research are: 1) Iqbal’s thought of religion is based on creed (belief), which reflects on rational thought. Iqbal’s effort on reconstruction of religion gives harmony between religion and politics which leads to the society too. 2) The religious freedom from Iqbal’s thought is based on the political ethics concept. His idea is started with the integration between Western thoughts and the Qur’an. Iqbal’s perspective of ego promotes self freedom, so every person can avoid his self from getting perfect spiritual (insane kamil). 3) Individual that lives in “reality as self conscious” concerns on the powers, which will create a harmony to society.

Abstract

Hobbes shows human as negative aspect, where human instinc tend to conflict, and war. So, sovereignty has to give state leader absolutely in order the state become strong and every state has to coperate with other in commonwealt paradigm. Hobbes discusses the concept of civil society starting with the concept of human being as human nature, particularly the concept of self, individu, and society. Hobbes looks at that human nature is a creature that affected by irrational, anachy, jelious, and hate, so the human become rude, and bad. This situations are called as primitive civil society. Meanwhile, Hobbes depicts modern civil society as a contradiction with human nature and natural law. Hobbes explains that state is created by individu who want create a piece from human nature, so human being has to make a social contract among individu.

Abstract

This writing discusses about integration between science and Islam. The main purpose of the writing is to introduce a new paradigm of integration between science and Islam through some models, namely Islamization of science who is introduced by Ismail al-Furuqi and construct a paradigm of Islamic science who is introduced by Ziauddin Sardar. This writing is done by doing research in library and running qualitative research based on philosophical approach. The data is collected from books, journals, and the internet. The study is analyzed through descriptive analysis to get accurate results from the objective of the study. The epistemological theory that is used in this study is “construct of paradigm” theory of Thomas Kuhn to analyze the dichotomy of science and Islam and how to integrate them. The results of the research are: there are two models of integration between science and Islam, viz. Islamization of science and establish of Islamic science paradigm. The paradigms are very important to anticipate the universal problem of science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang hubungan kekuasaan antara lembaga adat dan pemerintah desa dengan maksud untuk mempercepat terwujudnya kesejahteraan masyarakat dan tujuan mengoptimalkan pelayanan, pengelolaan, pembangunan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan teori kekuasaan,teori relasi sosial dan teori peran sosial untuk melihat relasi kekuasaan kedua entitas tersebut. Secara umum, penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat dua bentuk hubungan kekuasaan lembaga adat dan pemerintah di Desa Tubo yaitu; Pertama, hubungan simbiosis komensalisme yaitu dalam hal pembangunan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Kedua,hubungan konflik yaitu menginginkan adanya bantuan pemerintah dalam hal identitas adat (berupa baju adat).

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang gerakan sosial Islam Jamaah An-Nadzir dalam merawat aktivitas ekonomi politik di Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini secara umum berkesimpulan bahwa gerakan sosial yang dilakukan Jamaah An-Nadzir adalah gerakan kolektif untuk menerapkan syariat Islam, sebagai sebuah hukum untuk ditegakkan, karena kesempurnaan Islam harus diraih dengan totalitas dalam menegakkan syariatnya. Jamaah An-Nadzir membentuk komunitas dan perkampungan sebagai wadah untuk menerapkan hukum Islam dan menarik diri untuk tidak terlibat politik praktis karena dalam pandangan An-Nadzir mencederai aqidah Islam. An-Nadzir tidak termasuk komunitas anti Pancasila tetapi komunitas yang siap bela NKRI dan diberi perlindungan oleh LEMHANAS sebagai komunitas yang siap bela negara. Dalam ekonomi, Jamaah An-Nadzir menerapkan ekonomi berbasis syariah yaitu ekonomi Islam dan tidak terkontaminasi dengan riba. Sebagai penunjang perkembangan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan komunitas, jamaah membangun tujuh departemen yang saling bersinergi dan dinobatkan oleh pemerintah dengan ekonomi desa mandiri.
