Abstract

Adhan for newborns is one of the traditions of a people based on several hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad. After doing some research on the sanad of the hadith, it can be concluded that the hadith had of three lines: Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud. Hadiths are weak because of all `` As{im ibn Ubaidullah, according to scholars of jarh{ wa ta?di>l, is considered weak and munkar al-hadith. But, the hadith of can be practiced (ma?mu>l bih) and could rise to the level of hadith hasan li ghayrih. This means that echoes adhan in both ears newborns areamong the sunnah, even if these problems get in khilafiyah.Keywords: Adhan, Hadith, jarh wa ta?dil

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the history of standing Jam'iyyatul Washliyyah al ulama-ulamanya, as well as its role in the world of education. An editorial is not a Government which was established to unite the Muslims who have been dipecahbelah by the Netherlands colonizers. This study uses methodologi study historical documents where information – information relating to the history of the al Washliyah collected and later analysis and made a conclusion. The interview is also used to get the current information-information that concerned about education that are in al Washliyah. This study found that al Washliyah a lot of plays to educate the community through vocabulary-madrasa or school that they founded schools ranging from low to medium-sized school. While the curriculum which applies is stacked to approach mastery books the turath Al-Shaafa'i bermazhab. Washliyah also has a lot of bearing the scholars that now is given a significant role for the the advancement of Muslims and the State, not only in the territory of Indonesia, but also the territory formerly called Archipelago.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze fatwa ˜'Ali Jum'ah, a Grand Mufti of Egypt about 'Urfi Marriage in al-Kalim at-Thayyib Fatawa Ashriyyah. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, and the type of research literature (Library Research). This research was conducted by examining the writings to solve a problem with a critical and in-depth manner. The findings of this study are: First, 'Urfi Marriage is a marriage that all the pillars and conditions, just not recorded in the institution of marriage registration. Second, 'Urfi Marriage is complete terms and pillars, marriage is valid and has been validated by the fatwa institution Dar al-Ifta' Egypt, through a fatwa '˜Ali Jum'ah, The fatwa was issued due to rampant 'Urfi Marriage and the high cost of the wedding, with this fatwa 'Urfi Marriage be legal. Third, the scholars differ on this marriage law, the classical scholars allowing this marriage, because the problem does not exist at the time of registration before, while contemporary scholars there are disagreements, partly justified and partly forbidden to see the conditions that developed at this.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain about Muhammad Arsyad Thalib Lubis who is a scholar who raised Al Jam'iyatul Washliyah. Muhammad Arsyad Thalib Lubis made a big contribution in advancing Al Jam'iyatul Washliyah, namely maintaining the stability of society and improving education in North Sumatra is the desire of the people and coincides with the ideals of the nation in educating the people. His writing explains the activities of a major figure in Al Washliyah in Education, da'wah, social and politics.

Abstract

Al Jam'iyatul Washliyah an Islamic organization that was born and raised in North Sumatra at 1930. One of the activities of Al Washliyah in educating the public are with da’wah. So far Al Washliyah contribute for the development of Islamic da’wah in the region, it can be seen from the number of educational institutions Al Washliyah spread in North Sumatra from the lowest to the highest. So far the activities are still relevant in the community and his presence are still needed, especially the tradition of da’wah, with the arguments. First, Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah maintains its tradition in education consist with the ideals of its founders. Second, Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah provides educational institutions, dakwah, social and economic opportunity as a source of life for it’s members. Third, The existence of Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah able to raise the level of the religious understanding of the community.

Abstract

Takhrij Hadis adalah salah satu cabang ilmu hadis yang memiliki peranan penting dalam kajian hadis. Adapun tujuan takhrij hadis setidaknya ada tiga hal, pertama, menunjukkan hadis pada tempat sumber asli hadis, seperti kitab Sahi al-Bukhari dan Sahih Muslim. Kedua, mengeluarkan sanad secara lengkap juga matannya, dari kitab sumber asli tersebut. Kemudian menjelaskan kualitas hadi tersebut, apakah sahih, hasan atau da’if. Dengan demikian, dapatlah dikatakan bahwa dengan takhrij hadis kita dapat mengetahui hadis dari sumber kitab-kitab hadis yang asli, mengetahui kualitasnya, sehingga terhindar dari menggunakan hadis-hadis yang lemah (da’if). Dalam artikel ini akan dikemukakan hadis tentang kebahagiaan dan kesengsaraan Anak Adam (manusia) dengan menggunakan metode takhrij Hadis.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai seorang ulama kharismatik dari Deli bernama Hasanuddin bin Muhammad Maksum bin Abu Bakar gelar Imam Paduka Tuan atau lebih dikenal dengan nama Hasan Maksum (1884-1936) dan kontribusinya dalam dunia pendidikan Islam di Sumatera Utara. Keulamaan Hasan Maksum tidak bisa dipisahkan dari organisasi besar Islam seperti Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah dan juga kontribusinya yang sangat besar bagi perkembangan tradisi keulamaan di Sumatera Utara. Selama 20 tahun ia belajar ilmu-ilmu agama Islam di Makkah kepada ulama-ulama besar di sana, termasuk kepada Syaikh Ahmad Khatib al-Minangkabawi. Di Deli, ia aktif mengajar di sejumlah masjid dan langgar dan murid-muridnya kemudian menjadi ulama terkemuka di Sumatera Utara. Selain sebagai ulama dan guru yang dikenal sangat zuhud dan sederhana, ia juga pernah diangkat sebagai Mufti Kesultanan Deli hingga akhir hayatnya.Keywords: Hasan Maksum, Pendidikan Islam, Ulama Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

The research problem in this study is that there are only a few schools under the auspices of the Al-Washliyah organization, and there are almost no public schools in North Sumatra that integrate Al-Washliyah values into the learning process. However, Al-Washliyah values are highly aligned with the national education goals of developing an intelligent, characterful, morally upright, and independent society. This is because teachers do not yet have the appropriate strategies and learning models to integrate these values. Therefore, this research aims to develop a VCT (Values-Centered Teaching) learning model based on the ideas of Al-Washliyah figures. The research follows a research and development (R&D) approach. The research design follows the 4D model by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel. The research subjects consist of 135 Madrasah Aliyah students. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, open questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and practicality assessment sheets for the model. The collected data is then analyzed using SPSS version 25.0. The results of the study show that the developed model has high validity and reliability. Therefore, the developed model can be used as a learning model to integrate the values of Al-Washliyah figures into the learning process.
