<![CDATA[Kesadaran cuci tangan (hand hygiene) pada petugas kesehatan merupakan perilaku yang mendasar dalam upaya mencegah infeksi silang. Cuci tangan mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap pencegahan terjadinya infeksi nosokomial di rumah sakit dan perawat mempunyai andil besar karena berinteraksi dengan pasien selama 24 jam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran perilaku cuci tangan perawat di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit X Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Metode yang digunakan dengan cara observasi hanya pada satu kali momen cuci tangan. Subjek penelitian adalah perawat pelaksana yang berada di lima ruang rawat inap. Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 43 perawat. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi langsung menggunakan tabel cek list berdasarkan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO) yang berlaku di rumah sakit X. Â Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku hand hygiene perawat sesuai dengan SPO yang berlaku di rumah sakit tersebut secara keseluruhan sebesar 36% dengan kepatuhan tertinggi pada unit stroke. Tahapan dalam SPO dengan kepatuhan rendah terutama pada detail teknik melakukan cuci tangan.Kata Kunci: Hand hygiene, kepatuhan, perawat, standar prosedur operasional]]>

<![CDATA[Pemasangan infus adalah salah satu cara atau bagian dari pengobatan untuk memasukkan obat atau vitamin ke dalam tubuh pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengkaji tentang Tingkat Kepatuhan Perawat Dalam Melaksanakan Standar Operasional Prosedur Pemasangan Infus; Studi Kasus Di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) Rumah Sakit X Kabupaten Pidie. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan Case Study Research. Informan dari penelitian ini sebanyak 4 orang, instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu panduan wawancara dan panduan observasi. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan mulai 15-16 Mei 2019. Hasil penelitian didapatkankan bahwa sikap perawat sudah mulai ramah terhadap pasien, sebelum memasang infus perawat terlebih dahulu mempersiapkan alat, dan perawat sudah melakukan tindakan sesuai Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP). Hasil observasi peneliti didapatkan perawat melakukan tindakan tidak semuanya sesuai SOP, sebagian perawat tidak mencuci tangan sebelum dan sesudah tindakan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi bagi perawat khususnya tentang Tingkat Kepatuhan Perawat Dalam Melaksanakan Standar Operasional Prosedur.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan hipertensi dan modifikasi gaya hidup lansia dengan hipertensi di Gampong Sagoe Kec. Simpang Tiga Kab. Pidie, secara umum bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan hipertensi dan modifikasi diet yang tepat bagi penderita hipertensi dan secara khusus untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemauan dan kemampuan tentang hipertensi dan modifikasi diet yang tepat untuk penderita hipertensi pada lansia di Gampong Sagoe Kec. Simpang Tiga kab. Pidie. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui penyuluhan hipertensi dan modifikasi gaya hidup lansia dengan hipertensi di Gampong Sagoe Kec. Simpang Tiga Kab. Pidie dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Januari 2020. Adapun lokasi kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah di Meunasah Gampong Sagoe Kec. Simpang Tiga Kab. Pidie. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM berupa penyuluhan hipertensi dan modifikasi gaya hidup lansia dengan hipertensi di Gampong Sagoe Kec. Simpang Tiga Kab. Pidie, melalui tahapan survei kelompok sasaran, persiapan saran dan prasarana, pelaksanaan kegiatan aksi, dan evaluasi. Adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM berupa penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan hipertensi dan modifikasi gaya hidup lansia dengan hipertensi di Gampong Sagoe Kec. Simpang Tiga Kab. Pidie disimpulkan bahwa tekanan darah tinggi merupakan salah satu faktor resiko penyakit jantung. Adapun dengan menurunkan tekanan darah tinggi, angka morbiditas dan mortalitas dapat diturunkan. Modifikasi gaya hidup seperti penurunan berat badan, penerapan diet kombinasi DASH, aktivitas fisik yang teratur, dan tidak merokok adalah langkah pertama penanganan hipertensi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan]]>

<![CDATA[AbstrakKepatuhan hand hygiene perawat merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap pencegahan terjadinya infeksi nosokomial di rumah sakit. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan perawat dalam melaksanakan hand hygiene diantaranya faktor individu, organisasi dan perilaku perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor individu terhadap kepatuhan hand hygiene perawat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 71 perawat yang bertugas di ruang rawat inap. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa adanya pengaruh faktor individu terhadap kepatuhan perawat dalam melaksanakan hand hygiene. Faktor individu yang diteliti adalah pengetahuan, sikap, beban kerja dan motivasi.Kata Kunci: Individu, kepatuhan perawat, hand hygiene. AbstractCompliance of nurse hand hygiene is one of the factors that have a major influence on the prevention of nosocomial infections in hospitals. Many factors influence nurses' compliance in carrying out hand hygiene including individual, organizational and nurse behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of individual factors on adherence to hand hygiene nurses. Data collection techniques are carried out by questionnaire. This study uses a descriptive analytic research design with a cross sectional approach. A total of 71 nurses were assigned in the inpatient room. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis test. The results showed that there was an influence of individual factors on nurses' compliance in carrying out hand hygiene. <![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of individual, organization and behavior towards hand hygiene compliance of nurses. The research design used analytic descriptive study design with cross sectional approach on 71 respondents. Then, the researcher tested using descriptive statistical test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and test the dominant variable. Individuals, organizations and behaviors significantly influence hand hygiene compliance of nurses. <![CDATA[Therapeutic communication is one of the tools in carrying out the nursing process, where through communication carried out by nurses consciously, directed, and has a goal, namely to heal patients. Mental disorders are clinically significant syndromes or behavioral patterns associated with distress or suffering and may interfere with one or more functions of human life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of nurse therapeutic communication on cooperative behavior of mental patients in the mental room of RSUD Tgk. Chik at Tiro Sigli. The research design was a pre-experimental design, with a one group pre and post test design, to obtain cooperative behavior before and after the application of therapeutic communication. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test design with a sample of 52 respondents. Statistical test using Wilcoxon Signed Range Test. The results showed that there was an effect of therapeutic communication on patient cooperative behavior such as self-care abilities (eating, bathing and elimination) with a p value of 0.000. It is expected that nurses can pay more attention to the therapeutic communication process in patients, especially those who experience self-care deficits according to the nursing action plan and on an ongoing basis.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to explore the family’s support in activities daily living of elderly in Pidie District. A descriptive phenomenological method was used and in depth-interview which was carried out face to face was done in collecting the data of this qualitative research. There were six research samples which were chosen by employing random sampling technique. Thematic analysis was conducted in analyzing the data and deciding the themes and categories of the data. Research data collection was conducted from 16 to 31 March 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic period with due regard to health protocols. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the elderly with the treatment of families respect, love, attention to the elderly, the elderly feel happy, all informants say there is support from the family for the move because without the support of the elderly family will be lazy in the move, all the informants are disturbed activities caused by old age and often sick, and daily activities that need help, namely bathing, washing clothes and cooking. The results of this study are expected for families to be more active in encouraging the elderly to carry out daily activities and the family can help the activities daily living of the elderly that cannot be done independently.]]>

<![CDATA[Gangguan pada kesehatan gigi dan mulut dapat berdampak negatif pada kehidupan sehari-hari di antaranya menurunnya kesehatan secara umum, menurunkan tingkat kepercayaan diri, dan mengganggu performa dan kehadiran di sekolah, tempat kerja, atau aktifitas lainnya. Masalah kesehatan gigi yang pernah dialami oleh hampir semua orang. Bahayanya, jika dibiarkan hingga parah, akan terjadi infeksi yang berujung pada kematian. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan dan demonstrasi diharapkan semua Murid SD Negeri 2 Gigieng dapat memahami dan menerapkan cara menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar sehingga dapat menjaga Kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Luaran yang di harapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan kebersihan gigi dan mulut anak sekolah. Dari hasil pelaksanaan didapatkan bahwa lebih dari 55 % anak keadaan gigi dan mulutnya buruk. <![CDATA[Nurses as health workers can protect themselves from contact with infectious materials or exposure to infectious diseases by having knowledge of the infection process and proper barrier protection. The high number of work accident cases and the high prevalence of infectious diseases are indicators of the importance of nurses applying standard precautions. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of socializing the use of PPE on the behavior of ICU Nurses in the use of PPE (Handscoon, Mask, Gown). This study uses a pre-experimental design in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample of 35 respondents was taken using saturation sampling technique. There is a significant difference between before and after the socialization of PPE SOPs on the behavior of nurses in the use of PPE (Handscoons, Masks, Gowns) both on the 3rd and 6th day observations after the intervention was carried out with a p value of 0.000. Suggestions for hospital management to routinely hold PPE SOP socialization once a month so that the safety behavior of nurses, especially in the use of PPE can be maintained or increased as an effort to prevent nosocomial infections.Keywords: Use of PPE, Nurse Behavior, PPE SOP socialization]]>

<![CDATA[Gouty arthritis is the third most common type of arthritis after osteoarthritis and rheumatism outside the joints, this disease interferes with the quality of life of the sufferer. Health education is needed to increase the knowledge of the elderly with gout in dieting and living principles that are accustomed to consuming low-purine foods. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of health education on knowledge of a low-purine diet in the elderly with gouty arthritis in the working area of the Kembang Tanjong Public Health Center, Pidie Regency in 2022. This study was a quasi-experimental study (one group pretest posttest design). The population is the elderly who suffer from gouty arthritis as many as 120 people. Sampling using total sampling technique. The results of the study of knowledge in a low-purine diet in the elderly with gouty arthritis before being given health education were still lacking, namely 54.2% and after being given health education the majority had good knowledge, namely 45%. The results of the Paired Sample t-test obtained a significance of 0.000 = 0.05, so there is an effect of health education on knowledge in low-purine diets in the elderly with gouty arthritis. Suggestions for the elderly should be more obedient in a low-purine diet to prevent a decrease in uric acid levels in the body.Keyword : Health Education, Knowledge, low-purine diets, Gouty arthritis]]>
