Abstract

The aim of these research was to get the data how Imaginative Technique Method can improve students’ writing ability on descriptive text at second grade MTs. Muhammadiyah Sidomulyo with target achieved 75% from number of students at second grade average 70. The research is class room research (CAR). Subject of this research is students’ second grade. The instruments of this research are test and observation sheet. The technique of analysis got by formula total students’ completeness divided total students’ multiplied one hundred percent. The result of this research point out Imaginative Technique method can improve students’ writing ability on descriptive text at second grade. This research carried out in two cycles where each cycle consists from two meeting. Cycle I grade average of students get 69.2 and cycle II grade average of student get 75.4. Keywords: Writing Ability, Descriptive Text, Imaginative Technique.

Abstract

The goal of the study is to increase students' writing skills in descriptive writings by incorporating realia media into the classroom. The study makes use of action research in the classroom (CAR). In this study, the tool of investigation is the Test and Observation Sheet. The outcome of the investigation. The study discovered that using realia media may help students enhance their writing skills while producing descriptive texts. It is possible to draw the conclusion that there has been an improvement based on the results of the study that was conducted in two cycles (cycle I and cycle II). After being educated via the use of realia media, the student's ability to write descriptive language improves significantly. The use of realia as a medium for improving students' ability to write descriptive texts proved to be quite beneficial. According to the significant result percentage of students score in the pre-test (14 percent), cycle I (43 percent), and cycle II (50 percent), it was supported (81 percent ).

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the effect of trading time on the income of street vendors in Gorontalo City, 2) the effect of business time on the income of street vendors in Gorontalo City and 3) the effect of business capital on the income of street vendors in Gorontalo City. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach involving 31 street vendors in Gorontalo City as respondents. The data used are primary data obtained from a questionnaire with Likert scale criteria. The analysis technique uses multiple regression followed by partial hypothesis testing (t test) and simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), while the data processing used is SPSS version 16. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of trading time, business time and business return as independent variables simultaneously (together) on the income of street vendors as the dependent variable. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peningkatan investor terhadap jumlah transaksi saham di galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Data dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peningkatan investor tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah transaksi saham di galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Hal ini berarti bahwa investor yang mengalami peningkatan tidak begitu besar dampaknya dalam meningkatkan jumlah transaksi saham di galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo karena adanya kecenderungan skeptis investor karena keuntungan (agio saham) dari transaksi saham yang kecil. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,199. Nilai ini berarti bahwa sebesar 19,90% jumlah transaksi saham di galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo dijelaskan oleh peningkatan investor. Sementara itu sebesar 80,10% menjadi pengaruh dari variabel lain terhadap jumlah transaksi saham seperti variabel keuntungan dari transaksi saham, waktu dalam melakukan aktivitas investasi saham, faktor teknikal yang mendukung, faktor fundamental saham yang mendukung dan faktor lainnya.
