Abstract

The application of centrosymmetric matrix on engineering take their part, particulary about determinat rule. This basic rule needs computational process for determining appropiate algorithm. Therefore, by the algorithm of determinant kind of Hessenberg matrix, this is used for computing determinant of centrosymmetric matrix more efficiently. This paper shows the algorithm of lower Hessenberg and sparse Hessenberg matrix to construct the efficient alforithm of determinant of centrosymmetric matrix. By using the special structure of centrosymmetric matrix, the algorithm of these determinant are usefull for their own characterstics.

Abstract

The algorithm for computing determinant of centrosymmetric matrix has been evaluated before. This algorithm shows the efficient computational determinant process on centrosymmetric matrix by working on block matrix only. One of block matrix at centrosymmetric matrix appearing on this algorithm is lower Hessenberg form. However, the other block matrices may possibly appear as block matrix for centrosymmetric matrix’s determinant. Therefore, this study is aimed to show the possible block matrices at centrosymmetric matrix and how the algorithm solve the centrosymmetric matrix’s determinant. Some numerical examples for different cases of block matrices on determinant of centrosymmetric matrix are given also. These examples are useful for more understanding for applying the algorithm with different cases.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThe learning activities is a process of discovery and experience so that the knowledge can improve students' understanding and the character. Science is often identified with the West. The Islamic education is often oriented to the future life tend to be defensive. Approach of Science and Religion (SR) is a combination of approaches concepts, process skills, inquiry, and discovery and approaches to religious values. The philosophy underlying the approach is a constructivist approach behavioristik SR, learners formulate their own concepts in cognitive structure based on their knowledge then implement the values that exist in the community surrounding and religious values. Subject of this research was a 45 students of MAN 1 Semarang academic year 2015-2016 Research was conducted in odd semester of 2015, include: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation,   and4) evaluation. The results showed a good indicator of student activity in the learning lab and discussions has been reached on the completeness of classical study on lab activities amounted to 82.44% with an average value of 81.48 liveliness, and discussions 81.86% with an average value of 82, 10 (criteria very well). Indicators student's character visits of religious attitudes, responsibility, honesty, respect, discipline, and self-contained. The conclusion were a. SR approach seeks to provide an understanding of How teach science by providing a vision of Islam in the classroom. b. SR approach applied to the learning process Biology can apply knowledge and improve the character of the students.

Abstract

The transportation sector can facilitate and accelerate human activities. However, the development of the transportation sector has a negative impact that causes traffic jams and causes traffic accidents. Traffic accidents can cause fatalities which are divided into 3 categories, namely minor injuries, serious injuries, and death. This study aims to analyze the relationship between district or city variables in the province of Central Java with the status of the category of accident victims that occurred in 2019 – 2020. This study uses R Studio software as a tool to facilitate data analysis. The method used is correspondence analysis by representing the results obtained through the correspondence graph that is formed. In two consecutive years, accidents were dominated by victims of the minor injury status category in the city of Surakarta with a percentage of 94,7% in 2019 and 94,6% in 2020.

Abstract

The existence of scientific journals is fundamental as a place for the publication of scientific articles for academics to show the results of their research work. Along with the development of technology and information, it demands the management of online-based journals for the convenience and transparency of the articles in them. Management of journals with an online system is still not fully understood by academics in several institutions. As one of the universities located not far from UIN Walisongo Semarang, Selamat Sri University (UNISS) Kendal has sufficient resources and according to needs to be a place for community service activities to be carried out with the theme of assisting in the management of online journals based on the Open Journal System (OJS). The purpose of this assistance is to introduce online scientific journal management using the OJS system at UNISS. The method used is lectures and hands-on practice regarding online journal management. The results of this community service activity are knowing information about the availability of infrastructure, articles, Human Resources (HR), and regulations that support the start of managing online journals using OJS. In addition, understanding and awareness of the need to have online journals for the benefit of scientific publications for researchers or academics are also obtained which is the requirement as stated in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
