Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung daun mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia L.) terhadap eritrosit, hemoglobin dan hematokrit burung puyuh (Cortunix cortunix japonica). Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Terpadu Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Ternak percobaan yang digunakan adalah burung puyuh (Cortunix cortunix japonica) betina sebanyak 100 ekor, ternak tersebut ditempatkan dalam 20 petak kandang koloni, masing-masing petak kandang diisi sebanyak 5 ekor. Bahan yang digunakan adalah tepung daun mengkudu (TDM) dan pakan komersil (BP104B). Alat yang digunakan antara lain timbangan digital, blender, dan seperangkat alat untuk mengambil sampel darah. Perlakuan ransum yang diberikan pada puyuh adalah sebagai berikut; T0 (0% TDM), T2 (2% TDM), T4 (4% TDM), T6 (6% TDM) dan T8 (8% TDM). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan sehingga diperoleh 20 unit percobaan. Parameter yang diamati adalah eritrosit, hemoglobin dan hematokrit. Hasil suplementasi tepung daun mengkudu pada eritrosit tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05), pada hemoglobin berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) dan pada hematokrit tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Tepung daun mengkudu dapat mempengaruhi jumlah eritrosit, hematokrit dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap hemoglobin. Tepung daun mengkudu mempunyai potensi sebagai suplementasi pakan dilihat dari profil eritrosit, hemoglobin dan hematokrit. Kata kunci: Tepung Daun Mengkudu, Puyuh, Eritrosit, Hemoglobin, Hematokrit

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung daun mengkudu(Morinda citrofolia L.) terhadap leukosit, eosinofil dan neutrofil burung puyuh (Cortunix cortunix japonica). Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Terpadu Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo dan Laboratorium Pato Klinik BBVet Wates. Bahan yang digunakan 100 ekor puyuh betina umur 5 minggu, tepung daun mengkudu (TDM) dan pakan komersial (BP104B). Alat yang digunakan antara lain timbangan digital, blender dan seperangkat alat untuk pengambilan sampel darah. Rancangan yang dipakai adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Konsentrasi perlakuan T0 : 28g BP104B + 0% TDM; T2 :28g BP104B + 2% TDM; T4 : 28g BP104B + 4% TDM; T6 : 28g  BP104B + 6% TDM dan T8 : 28g BP104B + 8% TDM. Parameter yang diamati leukosit, eosinofil dan neutrophil. Penelitian dilakukan selama 120 hari. Data dianalisis ANOVA dan jika ada perbedaan dilanjut analisis Duncan.Hasil pemberian tepung daun mengkudu pada leukosit tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) dengan jumlah T0 : 120,00 ribu/mm3; T2 : 200,00 ribu/mm3; T4 : 134,00 ribu/mm3; T6 dan T8 : 174,00 ribu/mm3, Eosinofil berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) dengan persentase T2 : 2,00%; T8 : 0,25% ; T0, T4 dan T6 : 0,50%, neutrofil tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) dengan  persentase T0 : 36,25%; T2 : 39,00; T4 : 43,75%; T6 : 35,00% dan T8 :41,00%. Tepung daun mengkudu mampu meningkatkan jumlah leukosit, neutrofil dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05)    terhadap  eosinofil  sehingga dapat  meningkatkan ketahananburung puyuh. Tepung daun mengkudu dapat digunakan sebagai campuran atau tambahan dalam ransum puyuh.     Kata kunci: Burung Puyuh, Tepung Daun Mengkudu, Eosinofil, Leukosit, Neutrofil

Abstract

Graduates students mostly oriented into a job seeker, not the job creators. There is an assumption that the preparations become entrepreneurs during college, lead to failure in passing study on university. Science and technology-based entrepreneurship education can change those assumption, so it can affect a student's readiness for entrepreneurship on 3 aspect: affective (attitude), cognitive (knowledge), and psychomotor (skills). This research aimed to analyzed the effect of science and technology-based entrepreneurship programs to changes in student readiness.This research was quasy experimental by intervented 20 tenants, the participant of Ipteks bagi Kewirausahaan (Science and Technology for Entrepreneurship) at the Polytechnic of Health Bhakti Setya Indonesia. Students attended a series of science and technology-basedentrepreneurship education program especially by approaching of herbal saintification in various kinds of products that lead to supporting therapy. The intervention consist of a motivational training program, training on creating products, internships in industry partners, and comparative study. Data was collected by questionnaire test in pre and post treatment to determine the student’s readiness changing. Data was analyzed by paired T-test. The result showed that the intervention of science and technology-based entrepreneurship programs can improve student’s readiness in entrepreneurship.Keywords: entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship readiness, student, science and technology

Abstract

The prevalence of intestinal worms in Indonesia is still very high. Worming treatment can be performed using traditional medicine like papaya (Carica papaya). The purpose of this study to determine whether the ethanol extract of papaya (Carica papaya) concentration of 5% w / v, 10% w / v, 15% w / v has an influence on the time of death Ascaridia galli Schrank in vitro, knowing LC50 and LC90 , and knowing the chemical constituents in the ethanol extract of papaya (Carica papaya). Type of research is experimental because the use of treatment with the study design Posttest Only Control Groups Design. The sample used is Ascaridia galli Schrank females taken from chicken intestine. How it works in this research Ascaridia galli Schrank soak in a solution of NaCl 0.9% as negative control, a solution of piperazine citrate 0.9% as positive control, and a solution of ethanol extract of papaya (Carica papaya) with various concentrations. Each treatment group consisted of 15 worms were divided into five pots. Observations were made every 4 hours for 48 hours. Data were analyzed with the time of death worm SPSS 17 Kruskal Wallis method. Calculation LC50 and LC90 were analyzed by linear regression. Results of processing by Kruskal Wallis showed the ethanol extract of papaya (Carica papaya) concentration of 5% w / v, 10% w / v, and 15% w / v has an influence on the time of death Ascaridia galli Schrank in vitro. The results of calculations based on linear regression analysis showed LC50 ethanol extract of papaya (Carica papaya) at a concentration of 4.42% and LC90 at a concentration of 7.68%. Chemical identification results showed that ethanol extracts of leaves of papaya (Carica papaya) contain alkaloids, saponins, and tannins.Keywords: Carica papaya, Ascaridia galli Schrank.

Abstract

The more commercial flights now, will be result more the number of aircraft operated and the competition to become the airline can keep operating even more difficult. Some airline companies can not compete with other companies, has gone out of business. This is one of them caused by the inaccuracy of an airline's decision in the selection of aircraft types. Type of aircraft used for flight routes should be tailored to the needs so that it can provide benefits to the company. The selection of planes is determined based on market analysis with indicators of the number of passengers, aircraft, engineering aspects of the commercial aspects or the operational costs of aircraft and competitor analysis. Aircraft direct operating costs are costs directly related to the operator of the aircraft in flight routes. Direct operating cost is very influential in the selection of aircraft types that will be used. On certain conditions the determination of the decision must be taken quickly, in which one of the conditions is the availability of relevant information. Information is the output system that can be utilized by the parties in need. Decision support system to determine the type of aircraft is a computer application that provides output in the form of aircraft operating cost information that can support managers in making decisions determining the effective fleet at the new flight routes.

Abstract

Masker gel peel-off adalah salah satu masker wajah yang bersifat jelly yang penggunaannya direkomendasikan untuk kulit normal berminyak, dan kulit kombinasiManfaat masker gel peel-off diantaranya mampu merilekskan otot-otot wajah, membersihkan, menyegarkan, menyegarkan dan melembabkan kulit wajah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisik masker gel peel-off ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dengan matriks PVA dan HPMC serta variasi konsentrasi gliserin. Ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dengan metode remaserasi menggunakan etanol 96%. Konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun alpukat 15% dengan matriks PVA dan HPMC serta variasi konsentrasi gliserin yaitu 5%, 10%, dan 15%. Masker yang telah dihasilkan selanjutnya diuji karakteristik fisiknya meliputi uji organoleptis, homogenitas, uji pH, uji daya sebar, uji daya lekat, uji waktu mengering sediaan, serta uji cycling test Hasil uji karakteristik fisik dari data hasil uji organoleptis seperti warna, dan aroma, uji pH, dan uji homogenitas dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan hasil uji organoleptis warna hijau pekat dan aroma khas ekstrak daun alpukat. Data daya sebar, daya lekat dan waktu kering dianalisis secara One Way Anova, atau variasi konsentrasi gliserin mempengaruhi karakteristik dan stabilitas fisik sediaan selama dilakukan cycling test. Pada masker gel peel-off ekstrak daun alpukatpada FIII dengan konsentrasi gliserin sebesar 15%, semakin banyak gliserin maka hasil masker lebih lembut, dan lembab dibandingkan dengan F5% dan F10%.

Abstract

Lime peel (Citrus aurantifolia) contains flavonoid compounds and vitamin C which can be used as block to free radicals, so it has the potential to be formulated into sunscreen preparations in the form of emulgel. Emulgel consists of two systems namely the gel system and emulsion system. The physical stability of the emulgel is affected by the emulgator. This study aims to determine the effect of HLB emulgator tween 80 and span 80 variations in the physical stability of the emulgel. Therefore in this study used variations in the value of HLB emulgator tween 80 and span 80 with a comparison that is F1: HLB 10 (2,7 : 2,3); F2: HLB 11 (3,1 : 1,9); dan F3: HLB 12 (3,6 : 1,4).The physical stability test of the emulgel was carried out in two conditions namely before and after storage was accelerated by the freeze thaw period for 5 cycles with the test parameters including organoleptic, homogeneity, type emulsion, pH, adhesion, dispersion. The data obtained were then analysed statistically in a sensitivity level of 95 with One Way Anova test. Based on these results indicate that variations in the value of HLB emulgator tween 80 and span 80 affect the value of dispersion and adhesion with the value of p-value 0,000 < 0,05. Based on descriptive analysis shows that all formulas are homogeneously mixed, have emulsion type o/w and pH 6. The HLB 12 emulgator tween 80 and span 80 (3,6 : 1,4)values provide better physical stability, with a texture that is not too sticky when applied, feels cold skin, and has the most widespread distribution.
