Abstract

Production the Gracilaria. gigas Harv. is cultivation is influenced by cultivation methods and net systems used as well as environment factor. This research aim to know the growth and production of the Gracilaria gigas using different cultivation methods and net systems and also to determimine the different cultivation method and net system which result in the highest growth and G. gigas production in Selok Adipala ocean in Cilacap. This research used an experimental method with Splitplot Design in 3 times replication for each treatment combination. Research result indicate that the different of cultivation methods and net systems yield different seaweed growth and production. The highest growth was yielded from G. gigas use the modification of floathing method with double nets system that is equal to 4.25,00 g/day. G. gigas using the floathing method with apit net system yield that was equal to 1.610,00 g/ m2 of cultivation sea weed on Selok Adipala ocean in Cilacap Keywords: cultivation methods and net systems, Gracilaria gigas, Selok Adipala ocean in Cilacap

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan penapisan profil senyawa, uji aktivitas sitotoksik, dan induksi apotosis dari ekstrak batang brotowali (Tinospora crispa L.). Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan maserasi menggunakan etanol 96% kemudian di fraksinasi dengan n-heksan, kloroform, etilasetat berdasarkan tingkat polaritas. Uji dilanjutkan kromatografi lapis tipis menggunakan fase diam silika gel GF 254 dan fase gerak campuran. Spot yang ada dilihat dibawah UV 254 nm dan 366 nm serta disemprot dengan reagen penampak noda. Ekstrak dan fraksi kemudian diuji aktivitas sitotosiknya dengan metode MTT, serta induksi apoptosis dengan metode double staining dan flowcytometri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanolik batang brotowali mengandung senyawa flavanoid, fenolik, dan terpenoid. Ekstrak mempunyai efek sitotoksik dengan IC50 sebesar 314 µg/ml dan fraksi F3 sebagai fraksi aktif mempunyai efek sitotoksik dengan IC50 sebesar 146 µg/ml. Pada konsentrasi 25 µg/ml, fraksi mampu menginduksi apoptosis sebesar 28,9 %, kontrol sel 17,90% dan doksorubisin 63,12%. Pemacuan apoptosis ditunjukkan dengan adanya warna orange dan terjadinya banyak badan apoptosis pada sel WiDr dengan perlakuan ekstrak yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan kontrol sel.

Abstract

Research on efforts to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics students class V SDN 021 Muara Langsat through the use of demonstration methods and props held in the even semester 2014/2015 with the aim to know the improvement of student learning outcomes through demonstrations and props on subjects mathematics class V SDN 021 Muara Langsat. The data collected in this research is teacher activity data and student activity data in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages: planning, action execution, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study are students of grade V SDN 021 Estuary Langsat which amounted to 19 students consisting of 10 men and 9 women. This study was conducted on the basic competence to describe the nature of the wake flat. The results obtained from this research is the use of demonstration methods and props can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an inquiry-based Science-Physics Practicum Module on Vibration and Waves material to improve students' science process skills. The design in this study uses the Borg Gall development model which is modified into six research stages, namely: 1) potential and problems 2) data and information collection 3) product design 4) Design validation 5) Design revision 6) Product trial. This research was conducted at MTs Al-Jihad Pontianak. The subjects in this study were the subject of development (Validator) and the subject of product testing (students) for class VIII A, amounting to 17 students. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that 1) Inquiry-based Science-Physics practicum module based on material expert assessment with an average score of 73% with appropriate criteria and based on media expert assessment with an average score of 75% with appropriate criteria, 2) Student responses to Inquiry-based Science-Physics practicum module with an average score of 79% with criteria strongly agree, 3) The value of students' science process skills after using the Inquiry-based Science-Physics practicum module increased from each aspect. The aspect of observing with an average score of 92% with very good criteria, aspects of predicting with an average score of 70% with good criteria, aspects of clarifying with an average score of 76% with very good criteria, aspects of communicating with an average score of 77% with very good criteria, measuring aspects with an average score of 94% with very good criteria.
