Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of the main characters; Jack Frost, Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Pitch Black, and the Sandman’s internal and external conflicts in “Rise of the Guardians” Movie. The purpose of this study is to find out type of the internal and external conflicts based on the William Kenney’s theory. The study was conducted by using descriptive qualitative approach. The findings of this study; internal conflict: Jack Frost vs. Himself and the external conflict include Santa Claus vs. Yeti, Jack Frost vs. Easter Bunny, Pitch Black vs. Group of Guardians, Jack Frost vs. Group of Guardians, Jack Frost vs. Pitch Black. The problem solving of those conflict is competitive, because the Group of the Guardians pursues their own concerns at the Pitch Black’s expense. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi bermain game online dan dukungan sosial terhadap adiksi game online pada remaja. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non-probability sampling dan jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 270 remaja pemain game online MMORPG yang tersebar di Indonesia. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala adiksi game online yang disusun oleh Law dan Chang (2007) skala dukungan sosial yang disusun oleh Sarafino (1998), skala motivasi bermain game online yang disusun oleh Yee (2006). Uji validitas alat ukur menggunakan CFA dan analisis statistik menggunakan multiple regression. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa secara bersamaan motivasi bermain game online MMORPG dan dukungan sosial mempengaruhi adiksi game online. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian ini, disarankan untuk menambahkan variabel lain.

Abstract

PG. Jatibarang Brebes is the first company directly under the BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara)  company. this is company produces sugar of Central Java region which is under PTPN IX. There are six stages in the process of producing sugar, namely the milling stage, purification stage, evaporation stage, crystallization stage, the stage of rotation and finishing. The last activity is the packaging of sugar into the sack of 50 kg carried by the operator who sits on a sack with irregular heights. Seen from the aspect of ergonomic seating position is not very suitable because sugar packaging operators work in an uncomfortable position. Therefore, it is necessary to design seats for ergonomic sugar packaging operators. The method used to design this chair is with the concept of ergonomics. The required data include anthropometric data of operator body size, operator complaint during work, packaging process time during work. Then the data is processed to be applied to the design. The design is a prototype which will be measured and compared the output results in the conditions before and after the design was applied. The standard of production output was increased from 384,6 sacks/hour to 454.5 sacks/hour (18,17%) after the new design chair has been applied.

Abstract

As technology advances, equipment that previously operated analogue is now being developed using digital techniques, and equipment that was previously manual is starting to become automatic. Digital scales are measuring instruments for measuring the mass of an object or substance with a digital display. This simulation was created with the aim of producing an ESP32 based digital weighing device, using HX711 as a load sensor and displaying load values using a 16x2 type LCD. This makes measurement results easier to read and more accurate than analog scales.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the influence of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Persero East Bekasi Branch Office. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The number of samples used in this research was 50 respondents. The design used in this research is hypothesis testing using SPSS Versi 25. The results of this research show that (1) There is no correlation between Work Discipline and Employee Performance; (2) There is a correlation between work motivation and employee performance; (3) There is a correlation between Work Discipline and Work Motivation on Employee Performance.
