Abstract

This paper discusses the economic feasibility study of the project of procuring computer and tablet devices to companies as one part of the business in the paperless office. The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of investment to increase productivity, reduce costs, improve site efficiency and reduce environmental impacts. Computer and tablet devices are used to reduce the cost of procuring documents which are usually carried out by the photocopy process and distributed to other departments. Measurement of investment feasibility using Cost and Benefit Ratio Analysis. The economic tools used in this investment feasibility study include Payback Period, Net Present Value (NPV), Return on Investment (ROI) dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The results of economic analysis using the cost benefit ratio method for the paperless office project are that the project deserves to be accepted.

Abstract

The availability of local rice needs to be predicted to meet the demand for rice supply in Indonesia. Central Java, as the third largest rice producer in Indonesia, is one of the pillars of national rice demand. The amount of food production in Indonesia is an important factor in determining the right food supply. Forecasting rice production in Central Java is necessary to determine future food conditions. The purpose of this research is to develop a forecast model for rice production in Central Java province and to find out the estimated rice production in Central Java Province in the next 5 years. The time series forecasting method was used in this study. The data used in this study are data on rice production from 1993 to 2020. From the results of the Auto Correlation Function (ACF) test, it is known that the production data has a trend data pattern. The method used in this study is the double exponential smoothing method with two parameters (Holt's Methods). The optimal forecasting model is obtained with the help of solver software in Microsoft Excel. By using the help of the Microsoft Excel solver, the optimal constant value α is 0,767 and β is 0,412 with a Mean Absolute Precentage Error value of 4,82%. Forecasting results from 2021 to 2025 are known to decline every year. The average decline in rice production in the next 5 years is estimated at 4,4% per year. Abstract

Program ini bertujuan untuk membantu UKM JJ Sport selaku mitra dalam peningkatan kapasitas produksi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah ketidakmampuan dalam memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Peluang program pengembangan yang dapat dilakukan adalah optimasi pemanfaatan sumberdaya yang dimiliki UKM JJ Sport. Metode yang digunakan adalah kegiatan pendampingan yang diawali dengan Focus Group Discussion untuk melakukan benchmarking sehingga dirumuskan strategi dan peluang peningkatan kapasitas produksi di UKM JJ Sport. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah materi benchmark sistem produksi pada industri garment serta rumusan peluang perbaikan yaitu : 1) Layout lantai produksi untuk mengurangi jarak dan waktu material handling 2) Perancangan rak penyimpanan material untuk mengurangi waktu mencari material 3) Menghitung waktu baku proses menjahit sebagai dasar dalam penentuan kapasitas produksi 4) Perancangan alat bantu menjahit untuk mengurangi waktu baku. Peluang perbaikan tersebut akan ditindaklanjuti dalam program penelitian dosen dan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Pendidikan kewirausahaan perlu diajarkan sejak dini kepada siswa-siswi sekolah dasar agar menjadi generasi yang mandiri. Melalui pendidikan kewirausahaan, akan terbentuk jiwa inovatif dan kreatif sehingga dapat memanfaatkan peluang secara maksimal untuk membuat usaha baru. Salah satu sekolah dasar yang telah menerapkan pendidikan kewirausahaan adalah MI Hidayatul Insan Karanganyar melalui pelajaran muatan lokal kewirausahaan yang berfokus pada studi tentang pemasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di MI Hidayatul Insan Karanganyar dilakukan melalui metode ceramah dan praktik secara langsung. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa-siswi MI Hidayatul Insan Karanganyar tentang pentingnya menerapkan strategi pemasaran khususnya produk nugget ayam untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan kemajuan bisnisnya, menentukan segmentasi pasar untuk mengetahui siapa yang menjadi target pasar untuk produk nugget ayam, membangun brand untuk menciptakan identitas diri yang menjadi pembeda dengan produk pesaing, serta menentukan lokasi penjualan.

Abstract

Garment industry often faces many problems such as low productivity, long lead time production, high product rework and rejection, improper line balancing, and inflexible style running changeover. The aim of this research is to implement one of the lean concept tools namely one piece flow. This study focuses on Sewing Department of Man Shirt Unit in a Garment Company in Central Java, Indonesia. The study of this paper includes the description of garment manufacturing process flow and comparison between the batch production system and one-piece flow system. The performance criteria used in this study is the total processing time, the basic pitch time, the production targets and the throughput time. The time study is used as the measurement method to determine the cycle time and throughput. From the analysis, one piece flow system performs better in term of total processing time, the basic pitch time and the throughput time and the target achievement than batch production system. The total processing time and pitch time reduced by 6.42 % and 0.385% respectively. The daily target quantity increased by 8.609% and tThe troughput time of 1 piece of good garment in assembly line reduced from 3.35 hour to 0.915 hour.
