Abstract

ABSTRACT Development of education are very fast, as globalization and technology advance, so that teachers’ competency and skills must be improved. Bahasa Indonesia, is one of subjects that many people say it is easy, but that is not same as the fact. The national test’s result of Bahasa Indonesia was the worst than other subjects, and mostly students can use Bahasa Indonesia well. Bahasa Indonesia teachers have to solve this problem by doing some self evaluations, find a method or technique that suitable for the subject, and knowing the student’s characteristic. One important thing to do is reflection, evaluating the learning process. Advantages of this reflection are helping teacher to evaluate the learning process, include the media, method, material, students, and the teacher itself. The problems of the reflection are time management and variative reflection. Solution of the problems is making a reflective journal. KEYWORDS: reflection, problematic, reflective journal ABSTRAK Perkembangan dunia pendidikan semakin cepat, seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi dan globalisasi. Hal ini perlu diimbangi dengan peningkatan kemampuan profesional dan keterampilan pelaku utama pendidikan, yaitu guru. Mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang sering dianggap mudah, namun hasilnya sering mengecewakan. Nilai Ujian Nasional Bahasa Indonesia lebih rendah dari mata pelajaran lain, dan masih banyak siswa yang belum mampu menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia dengan baik dan benar.Upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru Bahasa Indonesia untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan mengevaluasi diri, menemukan metode dan teknik pembelajaran yang sesuai, dan mengenal karakteristik siswa. Salah satu tindakan pembelajaran yang penting untuk dilakukan adalah tindakan reflektif, yaitu tindakan meninjau kembali proses pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Manfaat tindakan reflektif adalah guru dapat mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran, termasuk media, metode, materi, siswa, bahkan penampilan guru sendiri. Problematika yang dijumpai dalam kegiatan reflektif adalah kesulitan guru dalam mengatur waktu dan jenis tindakan reflektif yang bervariasi. Solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi problematika ini adalah dengan membuat jurnal refleksi. KATAKUNCI: tindakan reflektif, problematika, jurnal refleksi

Abstract

Writing scientific papers is important for the development of the teaching profession. One of the most popular scientific papers by the teachers is the results of classroom research or commonly known as CAR (classroom action research). CAR is useful for improving teacher performance and fixing problems in the classroom. CAR that has been prepared by the teacher has not been maximally published in the form of a journal. In fact, the results of this scientific publication can be used for the benefit of school accreditation and benefit of the public usage, especially the cognate teachers. Therefore, it is important to carry out technical guidance on the preparation of CAR and scientific publications for MI Al Ishlah Tiudan teachers. The method used in this research is Participatory Action Research method. The implementation of technical guidance for the preparation of CAR and scientific publications shows that the majority of teachers at MI Al Islah Tiudan Gondang have received guidance on the preparation of CAR, but there are still many who do not understand the actual CAR because the guidance only provides material. In this technical guidance activity, all participants seemed enthusiastic and had been able to prepare a good CAR draft. All participants are also ready to continue the development of their draft and prepare to publish it in a journal.
