Abstract

Communication has always been a medium for every human being to coordinate or interact socially, whether in the face of a disaster or not. It becomes normal when communication is needed in post-disaster recovery efforts. Although communication is not able to completely change the overall socio-economic aspects, it is not surprising that communication cannot be separated in every disaster management. Because, communication can present an organized handling system. The purpose of this research is to examine the extent to which communication plays its role and function in rehabilitation (recovery) efforts after the extraordinary fury of banjir bandang natural disasters. Where the incidence of natural disasters that hit North Luwu Regency caused a lot of losses, especially from the socio-economic aspects (education, housing, health, religious activities, facilities and infrastructure, trade, umkm, and also agriculture). This is because many people have experienced a downturn, even parts of Masamba and Baebunta sub-districts also feel the impact. In this research the researcher applied a descriptive qualitative research method using a case study approach. Where in determining the data source, the writer uses purposive sampling. The results of this study are that in this recovery effort there is a joint responsibility (North Luwu Regency government)

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the role and credibility of preachers as communicators in conveying the message of da'wah to the converted community in the Karomba Mountain Area Pinrang Regency. This research uses qualitative methods to understand and analyze the role and credibility of preachers in conveying the message of da'wah. data collection techniques are carried out with in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study found that the role of preachers in conveying the message of da'wah to the converts, namely preachers as mentors or coaches. preacher as an extension of Islam and preacher as the problem solver. While the credibility of preachers as communicators in conveying the message of da'wah can be seen from communication skills, knowledge related to the values of Islamic religious teachings, attitudes, and socio-cultural systems.

Abstract

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah mengubah cara berkomunikasi, dan dalam konteks ini, media komunikasi digital juga memainkan peran dalam sebuah komunikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan Tingkat penggunaan media komunikasi digital kader Angkatan Muda Gereja Protestan Maluku. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa tingkat penggunaan media komunikasi digital bervariasi, dengan sebagian besar menunjukkan frekuensi penggunaan tinggi (lebih dari delapan kali sehari) dan durasi akses yang lama (lebih dari 180 menit sehari), meskipun konsistensi penggunaan berada pada tingkat netral. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Sebagian besar responden memiliki pola penggunaan yang memungkinkan penggunaan secara teratur dan intensif dalam sehari.

Abstract

Adaptasi Member dalam Lingkungan Belajar di Kampung Inggris Pare Kediri. Para member yang datang ke Kampung Inggris Pare Kediri memiliki latar belakang budaya yang berbeda. Hal ini membuat mereka untuk menyesuaikan diri di daerah baru dengan komunikasi sosial yang baru. Penelitian ini mebahas mengenai bagaimana adaptasi member dalam lingkungan belajar di Kampung Inggris Pare Kediri. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa adaptasi member dalam lingkungan belajar di Kampung Inggris Pare Kediri. Metode penelitian menggunakan fenomenologi kualitatif yaitu dengan mendeskripsikan secara menyeluruh data yang didapat selama proses penelitian apa sebagai susuatu yang muncul dan hadir sehari-hari. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori fenomenologi yang merupakan studi interpretative bersifat apa adanya mengenai pengalaman manusia untuk memahami dan mendeskripsikan lingkungan, peristiwa, dan pengalaman manusia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adaptasi member yang datang dari berbagai daerah ke lingkungan belajar Kampung Inggris Pare Kediri ditandai dengan culture shock, cara mereka menghadapi masalah, dan bertahan dalam berbagai kondisi. Biaya yang murah membuat member bebas mengambil banyak kelas. Tidak semua orang bisa dan menggunakan berbahasa Inggris di Kampung Inggris Pare Kediri. Kampung Inggris Pare sangat ramai oleh kafe, tempat gym, tempat makan, salon, tempat penyewaan, toko, dan penginapan. Sehingga hal ini mendukung dari segi akomodasi bagi member. Member mengadakan masak-masak dan makan-makan ketika hari libur. Selain itu mereka juga berjalan-jalan untuk menyegarkan otak di akhir pekan. Walaupun member merasakan kemampuan bahasa Inggris mereka meningkat. Tetapi mereka juga sesekali berada dalam kondisi sulit, dimana member merasa tertekan kerena harus berjuang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggrisnya. Namun hal itu bukanlah suatu masalah besar karena mereka menikmati masa-masa tersebut bersama member lainya.
