Abstract

Calista Perkasa Mulia ( CPM ) ltd is a contracting company of the railway construction. In the project construction of double track railway Semarang- Bojonegoro period April 2012 to December 2013 , scheduling and risk management has not been implemented properly. It could been seen from the works that was not completed on schedule. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to design a project scheduling with precedence diagram method (PDM) and risk management. The results showed that one of the strategies which could be applied to anticipate the delay was the acceleration of the project. With this strategy the project could save as much as Rp730.638.742. Furthermore the risk of sources showed there were 28.21 % of technical risks, 46.15 % of not expected risk and 33.33 % unacceptable risk.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to determine the mechanical strength of chicken feather and sawdust waste in making biocomposites. The use of natural fibers because they are cheap and environmentally friendly. Preparation of biocomocytes with several folume fractions. The volume fraction to be researched is 80%, 20%, 0%, 80%, 15%, 5%, 80%, 10%, 10%, 80%, 5%, 15%, 80%, 0%, and 20%. Biocomposite testing with ASTM E8 specimen standards for tensile testing with a universal testing machine. Impact testing with ASTM E23 specimen standards with an impact testing machine. From the test results, it can be seen that the volume fraction of 80%, 15%, 5%, has the highest tensile strength with 6,390 MPa. Tensile test at a volume fraction of 80%, 15%, 5%, with an impact strength of 0.731 joules. From the research results, it can be concluded that the same volume fraction as the tensile and impact test has a high mechanical strength. The use of the dominant fiber does not affect its mechanical strength. The combination of natural fibers and polymers used will affect its mechanical strength.

Abstract

Coconut sugar is one of the leading commodities in Banyumas City, coconut sugar and it is derivative processing can make a high contribution to the development of the local economy of the community. This can be seen from the history of the production of coconut sugar whose trend is always increasing, in 2013 the production of coconut sugar was 206,026 tons / day, in 2014 it increased to 240 tons / day and in 2015 the production reached 250 tons / day. This study aims to find an area of improvement for the design of tree climbing aids that are in line with the expectations of the nira hikers in the Cilongok Banyumas City. In carrying out their work, the loudspeakers did not have much safety equipment, in a day, the loudspeakers had to climb 40 trees from morning to evening. The average height of each coconut tree that is climbed is around 20 until 30 meters. This study aims to design coconut climbing aids for the nira hardener with a quality function deployment (QFD) approach. In the process of retrieving data, the researcher identifies the desires of consumers, a questionnaire that has been determined and contains attributes in accordance with the quality plan that has been determined in the framework of the thought distributed to the subject. The way to find out the user anthropometry data is by measuring height, body dimensions, age, weight and length of work, so that we can obtain a reference for designing coconut tree climbing aids that are in accordance with the expectations of the palm fruit pusher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada proses produksi lini fuel tank departemen welding PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM). Penelitian ini dilakukan karena banyaknya waste yang dihasilkan oleh departemen welding pada proses produksinya. Salah satu contoh waste yang dihasilkan adalah produk defect yang mencapai 7% dari total produksinya. Metode pengambilan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi lapangan serta data sekunder yang didapatkan dari narasumber. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua tools, yaitu Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). VSM digunakan untuk memetakan aliran proses produksi serta mengidentifikasi diproses mana saja waste banyak terjadi. Selain itu, VSM juga digunakan untuk mengusulkan perbaikan proses poduksi. Sedangkan FMEA digunakan untuk menganalisis efek-efek yang timbul dari waste tersebut dan untuk menentukan tingkat prioritas waste mana saja yang harus diminimalisir. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa berdasarkan current state map VSM, total lead time sebesar 1210 detik dengan total non-value added (NVA) time sebesar 532 detik, serta process cycle efficiency (PCE) sebesar 10.91%. Bedasarkan FMEA, waste yang paling sering terjadi adalah waste defect dan waste waiting. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dengan future state map VSM, total lead time dan total NVA time berkurang menjadi masing-masing 860 detik dan 332 detik. Nilai PCE juga meningkat sebesar 4.44%, menjadi 15.35%.

Abstract

Sustainable product design has a role in reducing environmental impacts and can provide economic and social benefits for stakeholders. Design is one way to make improvements and provide an overview of alternative solutions to problems. One of the problems of motorcycle users is experiencing the incidence of punctured tires. This research aims to design a tool to help users of automatic and manual motorcycles when a flat tire occurs. The tool design with dimensions of 160 mm x 190 mm x 100 mm uses a 2 mm iron plate as the mainframe, rubber-type wheels on the front and live caster on the back, and stainless steel for bolts and nuts. Testing the tire leak tool uses three motorcycles with automatic and manual types that have an engine capacity of up to 110 cc, and has a wheel size of 62.09 mm for automatic motorbikes and 65.79 mm for manual motorbikes. The test results showed it function well. The tool is stable and safe when used at a speed of 20 km/hour. The tire leak tool can be used on various types of road surfaces and can withstand passenger loads of up to 65 kg. The trial process was carried out 7 times in the environment around the Purwokerto Telkom Institute of Technology campus with up and down road surfaces and various variations of bends. The tool design is easy to install on leaking wheels and is convenient to carry on the go. A tire leak tool can be used as an alternative for motorcyclists when a flat tire occurs, especially automatic and manual motorbikes.

Abstract

AbstractPT. XYZ is a contractor company that focused on railway installation. Nowadays, PT.XYZ is working on a double track railway development in Semarang-Bojonegoro section. The project requires the ability of a project manager to manage risk. Working accidents occur due to poor risk management. The purpose of risk management is to anticipate the occurrence of risks that has caused financial losses and failure. The objectives of the study are to implement risk assessment and risk control based on risk management standards. The risk management process that has been applied refers ISO 31000 standards. The standards are included the risk identification, risk analysis and risk evaluation. The result shows that assessing railway double rail project has identified 19 unexpected risks as a high risk and 12 unacceptable risks that are required risk mitigation to reduce the impact. Keyword: Project Management, Risk Management, Risk Mitigation.  AbstrakPT. XYZ adalah perusahaan kontraktor dibidang pembangunan jalur kereta api. Proyek  pembangunan jalur ganda kereta api memerlukan kemampuan seorang manajer proyek dalam mengelola manajemen risiko. Kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi disebabkan belum terkelolanya manajemen risiko dengan baik. Pengelolaan manajemen risiko sangatlah penting dapat mengantisipasi terjdinya risiko yang menimbulkan kerugian finansial dan kegagalan dalam mencapai tujuan proyek. Tujuan penelitian melakukan penilaian dan pengendalian risiko dengan menggunakan standar manajemen risiko. Proses manajemen risiko mengunakan standar ISO 31000 meliputi tahapan identifikasi, analisis dan evaluasi risiko. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  pembangunan proyek jalur ganda kereta api memiliki risiko yang tinggi karena langsung bersinggungan dengan jalur kereta aktif sehingga teridentifikasi ada 19 risiko yang tidak diharapkan. Selain itu terdapat 12 risiko yang tidak dapat diterima. Risiko yang tidak dapat diterima memerlukan  mitigasi risiko mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan. Keyword: Manajemen Proyek, Manajemen risiko, Mitigasi Risiko.

Abstract

The problem that is often experienced in the delivery of goods from distributor to the destination is the delivery route that is not sufficient with the vehicle's capacity. This matter is crucial because it can affect the clients' trust on the shippers in the distributor. This problem can be analyzed using Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) with Clarke and Wright Algorithm. This research begins with determining the distance between all coordinates with Euclidean Distance, making the distance matrix between places to go. After that, the calculation CVRP using Clarke and Wright Algorithm is exected in this study, a calculate CVRP using Clarke and Wright algorithm can help of Python. The study was conducted at 16 customers coordinates, the results obtained by 4 routes with total load 4751 kg and distance 436 km. Route of delivery the first route 924 kg load and distance 80 km, second route 962 kg load and distance 112 km, third route 1450 kg load and distance 144 km, and the fourth route 1415 kg load and distance 100 km.

Abstract

The Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) is one of the factors that must be always monitored during the implementation of construction in achieving the success of project objectives. The implementation of SMK3 and decision-making still comes from project actors with different levels of experience gaps, causing the decisions taken to be less systematic and affecting the productivity of project performance. The purpose of the research is to conduct risk management simulations to increase insight into risk management and mitigation as a support for appropriate decision making in supporting project productivity, quality, and cost.Risk identification process through brainstorming, interviews, and observations with competent resource persons and project actors who have more than 5 years of experience in railway projects. Risk identification generates parameters and measures project risk by processing data using SPSS V23 software and dynamic simulation using Vensim PLE software. Simulation shows that there is a decrease in risk parameters in design and technology by -6.29%, construction management -5,12%, work safety and environment -5,90%, materials and equipment 3,37% and logistics -6,23%. Management of SMK3 by combining methods can increase accuracy in making risk mitigation decisions and can improve and understand the complexity of overall risk management performance from time to time.

Abstract

Sektor parawisata tidak lepas dari peramalan dalam meningkatkan sekmen pengunjung. Proses dalam menangkap perilaku karakteristik dinamis wisatawan,  melalui data pencarian tersegmentasi. Waterpark Top 100 Batu Aji destinasi wisata yang terletak di Kota Batam. Keluhan pengunjung terhadap fasilitas  mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan pendapatan. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk melihat pengaruh harga, kualitas pelayanan serta fasilitas dalam penentuan kunjungan wisata. Penelitian menggunakan deskriptif dengan penentuan sampel sebanyak 100 Responden online dan offline. Metode analisis pada riset ini yaitu Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukan keputusan berkunjung dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh faktor pada indikator attention(ATT) dan Personal Human (PH). Namun pada variabel Perception Behavior Control (PBC) dan Subject Norm (SN) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Berkunjung (KB). Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor penyebab pengunjung membuat keputusan berkunjung pada destinasi wisata.Kata Kunci:  Keputusan berkunjung,Service quality, Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS)
