Abstract

This study seeks to examine the implications of corporate governance and financial performance on firm value. The population selected are all companies that follow CGPI (Corporate Governance Preception Index) scoring held by IICG (The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance) in 2015-2018. Sampling of the research is purposive sampling with samples criteria are public companies participate in CGPI scoring and publish their financial statements on Indonesia Stock Exchange’s website or publish on the official website of respective companies. The total population followed CGPI score was 137 companies, 55 of those are public companies and 5 samples are outlier data. The statistical test used in this research were descriptive statistics analysis and multiple regression analysis. This research results in findings that both simultaneously and partially there are implications for corporate governance and financial performance to firm value. Therefore, the implementation of corporate governance and financial information disclosure in companies is fundamental to realizing firm value.

Abstract

Pandemi telah mengubah pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) yang menimbulkan kendala seperti ketidaksiapan menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran online, belum tersedianya materi untuk diunggah, jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, biaya kuota internet, dan kejenuhan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pelaksanaan PJJ dan upaya implementasi blended learning sebagai solusi proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah pertama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif, melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi dari pembelajaran online, offline dan tatap muka mampu menciptakan suasana yang lebih menyenangkan bagi siswa, guru dan orang tua.The pandemic has transformed face-to-face learning into distance learning which has caused obstacles such as unpreparedness to use online learning applications, unavailability of material to upload, unstable internet networks, internet quota fees, and student saturation. This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of distance learning and efforts to implement blended learning as a solution for the learning process in elementary and junior high schools. The research methods used are quantitative and qualitative through observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The results showed that the combination of online, offline, and face-to-face learning could create a more pleasant atmosphere for students, teachers, and parents. .

Abstract

The more days of tolerance, the sense of solidarity and the rise of hate speech on social media, as well as the decline in national values, the fading of the national spirit is a serious concern, especially for educators. Indonesia is experiencing various challenges or threats. the best for the country is just a slogan. Society seems to have lost its direction (disorientation) in the life of the nation and state, due to the dim implementation of basic values. The basic value that becomes a reference or guideline is considered as something ancient. There are even organizations that oppose the existence of these basic values. It is unfortunate that the younger generation is also swept away, as if they have forgotten history. The growing trend in society prefers pragmatic and practical values which in reality are not in accordance with the soul and personality of the Indonesian nation. This study aims to examine and explore and provide an overview of character education which includes civic education courses, Pancasila education and character development courses for students at Maranatha Christian University. The implementation of these values was carried out by observing, interviewing, as well as questionnaires which were distributed to students. Interviews were also conducted with the civic education lecturer team, the Pancasila lecturer team, the character development lecturer team and educational institutions.The emphasis in this research underscores how advances in technology and information in the digital era can be implemented from personality development courses. Personality development is one of the targets of civics and Pancasila education courses and character development courses. Conventional learning that has been entrenched so far must be replaced with digital learning. It takes effort and creativity from lecturers so that the meaning and message of the values of civic education and Pancasila values can be accepted and carried out in life by students. The method or approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative through in-depth observation, even though it is constrained by a pandemic, it can be combined by conducting interviews both structured and open interviews, literature studies and documentation. The techniques used to examine the research are data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. For the output of the research team, it is planned to be published in an accredited journal.

Abstract

Indonesia dikenal sebagai masyarakat yang memiliki toleransi tinggi, rasa persaudaraan yang kuat, relasi yang harmonis, dan perilaku yang santun antar sesama anak bangsa. Namun saat ini kenyataan tersebut telah bergeser digantikan dengan sikap intoleran, sikap saling mencurigai, etnosentrisme, primordial, individualistik, dan dekat dengan bentuk-bentuk kekerasan. Pancasila dan nilai-nilainya diabaikan, dan ada indikasi penolakan Pancasila pasca reformasi. Nasionalisme sebagai perekat dalam keberagaman mulai memudar. Berbagai permasalahan terkait isu ideologi, politik, hukum, ekonomi, agama menyeruak ke permukaan. Semua ini perlu dicermati sebagai suatu ancaman bagi keharmonisan bangsa. Sikap saling menghargai perlu ditumbuhkan kembali dalam berbagai bentuk yang dapat diterima semua kalangan khususnya generasi muda sebagai generasi penerus yang akan melanjutkan kehidupan yang damai dengan semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Sequential Explanatory Mixed Methods. Melalui penelitian ini, pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan akan ditelusuri dan dianalisis lebih mendalam di tingkat universitas baik dari segi materi yang diberikan, apakah masih bersifat satu arah, atau aplikatif terkait dengan fenomena nyata pada siswa, dengan memfokuskan pada pengalaman hidup mereka.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bagi anggota jemaat Gereja Kristen Pasundan (GKP) Cigugur terdiri dari desain ulang interior ruang ibadah yang mengadaptasi budaya Sunda, pelatihan membuat presentasi PowerPoint yang menarik, serta pelatihan membuat aksesoris. Tujuan ketiga kegiatan tersebut adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup saat beribadah serta di kehidupan sehari-hari khususnya di bidang keterampilan, sehingga membuka jalan untuk berkreasi dan berwirausaha. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian yang digunakan adalah dengan ceramah, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terwujudnya desain ruang ibadah yang kondusif serta bernuansa Sunda, anggota jemaat yang memiliki keterampilan membuat PowerPoint yang menarik, serta keterampilan membuat aksesoris berupa kalung, gelang, dan bros yang memiliki nilai jual.
