Abstract

This research aimed to assessing whether epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about knowledge and belief about learning predicted of the constructivist conception of teaching and learning, assessing whether epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about knowledge and belief about learning predicted of the traditional conception of teaching and learning. The population in this research consists of students of Tarbiyah Department of STAIN Kudus, Central Java. The sample was as many as study 242 students, taken through simple random sampling method. The data collection techniques used in this research was questionnaire in the form of scales and checklists. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Models (SEM). The research resulted that epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about learning was negatively related on the constructivist conception of teaching and learning and) epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about knowledge was positively related on the traditional conception of teaching and learning.

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) finding out whether there was conformity between the theoretical model of factors affecting students’ epistemological beliefs and the empirical models, (2) assessing whether interdependent self-construal, level of education, constructivist learning environment and metacognition predicted of epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about knowledge and belief about learning, (3) assessing whether interdependent self-construal, level of education, constructivist learning environment and metacognition predicted of epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about knowledge and (4) assessing whether interdependent self-construal, level of education, constructivist learning environment and metacognition predicted of epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about learning.The population in this research consists of the first to eight semesters students of “X” Department of STAIN Kudus , Central Java. The sample was as many as study 268 students, taken through stratified random sampling method. The data collection techniques used in this research was questionnaire in the form of scales and checklists.The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Models (SEM). The research resulted: (1) The (theoretical model) designed in the research is proper, and conforms with the data collected (empirical model), (2) The determination (R²) of the students’ epistemological beliefs is 0.80, which means that 80 percent of epistemological beliefs can be explained or predicted through the variables of interdependent self-construal, level of education and constructivist learning environment, (3) The determination (R²) of the students’ beliefs about knowledge is 0.52, which means that 52 percent can be explained or predicted through the variables of interdependent self-construal, level of education and constructivist learning environment, (4) The determination (R²) of the students’ beliefs about learning is 0.28, which means that 28 percent can be explained or predicted through the variables of interdependent self-construal, level of education and constructivist learning environment. Based on this research, examine the importance of epistemological beliefs as a basic foundation of education, it is necessary for educators to examine these factors in the teaching and learning process. Abstract

This study was a metaanalysis of the relationship between epistemological belief and approach learning. The quantitative review involved 52 studies from 11 articles that contained a combined sample of approximately 26818. This analysis extends previous works by directly correcting both sampling and measurements errors. The results provided support that one’s epistemological belief has a correlation with one’s learning approach. Thus epistemological beliefs serve as predictors learning approach

Abstract

Two problems that were discussed in this research. The first was the effects of level education with teaching performance. The second was was the effectsof teaching efficacy with teaching performance. There were 77 subjects that participated in this research by convenience sampling. They were teacher in the primary school  in Kudus. The data were collected by using teaching performance scale and teaching efficacy scale. All data were analiyzed by regression analysis of SPSS. The result of this research showed that there was positive was effects of level education and teaching efficacy with teaching performance.ada dua permasalahan yang dibicarakan dalam penelitian ini, pertama adalah pengaruh tingkat pendidikan terhadap performansi mengajar,kedua adalah pengaruh efikasi mengajar terhadap performansi mengajar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 77 guru di pendidikan anak usia dini di kudus yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknikconvenience sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini  dalam bentuk skala dan daftar isian. Ada dua skala yaitu skala performansi mengajar guru dan  efikasi mengajar. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada tingkat pendidikan dan efikasi mengajar berpengaruhterhadap performansi mengajar guru.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, Islamic boarding school is a religious education institution that has its distinctiveness and is different from other education. Education in Islam, education, da’wah, community development, and other similar education. In general, Islamic boarding schools accept normal Santri in terms of ability. However, there are Islamic boarding schools that only accept students who have special needs. The purpose of this study was to study how disability education in al-Achsaniyyah Islamic Boarding School. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This study involved six informants, consisting of one main informant, and five supporting informants who worked on supplementing the data. The selection of informants is based on purposive sampling. Data exploration was carried out by in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and field notes. The validity of the study was carried out by the method of data triangulation, namely by checking the facts by comparing them with various sources, methods, and theories.  The results showed that al-Achsaniyyah Islamic Boarding School is a special boarding school for people with disabilities located in Kudus, Central Java. Like other huts, Pondok al-Achsaniyyah Kudus also has elements in the form of Kyai, dormitories, mosques as centers of worship, schools and the presence of Santri. It’s just that students in al-Achsaniyyah Kudus Islamic Boarding School are autistic.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara orientasi religiusitas dengan kepuasan hidup. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Psikologi Islam, Jurusan Ushuluddin, Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Kediri. Jumlah sampel (N=168) dikumpulkan melalui sampling acak sederhana. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk skala. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara orientasi religiusitas intrinsik dengan kepuasan hidup dan sebaliknya ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara orientasi religiusitas ekstrinsik dengan kepuasan hidup.

Abstract

Performance is a result achieved by the worker in his work according to certain criteria to apply for a job. The success of the performance can be affected by several factors that support it. This study aims to empirically examine the influence of Islamic work  ethics and transformational leadership on improving the performance of employees in UKM Singocandi, Kota, Kudus. Data collection methods used were the questionnaire and observation. While the analysis using multiple linear regression model. The results showed that the Islamic work  ethic  significant positive effect on employee performance. This was indicated by the regression coefficient  of 0.292 with  a significance level of 0.001 t less than 0.05. And transformational leadership also significant positive effect on employee performance. This was indicated by the regression coefficient  of 0.993 with  a significance level of 0.000 t less than 0.05.Kinerja merupakan suatu hasil yang dicapai oleh pekerja dalam pekerjaannya menurut kriteria tertentu yang berlaku untuk suatu pekerjaan. Keberhasilan kinerja bisa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa factor yang mendukungnya. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh etika kerja Islam dan kepemimpinan transformasional pada peningkatan kinerja karyawan di UKM desa Singocandi kecamatan Kota Kudus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan kuesioner dan juga observasi. Sedangkan análisis mengunakan model regresi linier berganda. hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa etika kerja islam  berpengaruh positif  signifikan terhadap kinerja  karyawan. Hal  itu  ditunjukkan dengan koefisien   regresi   sebesar   0,292 dengan tingkat  signifikansi t  sebesar   0,001  yang  lebih  kecil  dari  0,05.  Dan kepemimpian  transformasional juga  berpengaruh positif   signifikan terhadap kinerja  karyawan. Hal itu ditunjukkan oleh koefisien  regresi sebesar  0,993 dengan tingkat signifikansi t sebesar  0,000 yang  lebih kecil dari 0,05.
