Abstract

This research aims to test the process of learning and teachingsubject lesson of process of learning and teaching Islamic Education model.The subject in this research is Tarbiyah Department students on IslamicEducation Major of Kudus State Islamic College. The subjects in this studyamounted to 152 students who participated in the fulfilling scale. While thedata collection conducted by disseminating questionare. The analisis used theStructural Equation Model (SEM). Then, the result of research showed thatthe model was fit. The process of learning and teaching had influence to theoutput of learning and teaching. Keywords: Process of learning and teaching, output of learning and teaching.

Abstract

Vygotsky was born in Orsha, Russia, 1896 and died inMoskow, 1934 due to tuberculosis. He had suffered since the ageof 38. In his so short but very productive lifetime, he produceda lot of psychology theories about intellectual development.Vygotsky’s main work was in developmental psychology, and heproposed a theory of the development of higher cognitive functionsin children that saw the emergence of the reasoning as emergingthrough practical activity in a social environment. The theoriesare, among others, concerned with the role of social interaction incognitive development, the dialectic of mind and language, conceptdevelopment, and the zone of proximal development. This articlediscussess those theories namely, the role of socioculture, as well astheir implications in Islamic education for children. Abstract

The goal of this research was to examine the relationship between Constructivist learning environments and academic achievementof Psychology among students. The hypotheses tested in thisresearch were: there were differences of academic achievementbetween students taught by constructivist learning environmentsand conventional learning environment. The instruments used inthis research were constructivist learning environments scale andconventional learning environment scale. The total of the samplewas 71 students taken from Tarbiyah Major Islamic education ofKudus State Islamic High School. Class A that used constructivistlearning environments and Class B that used conventional learningenvironments. The results of data analyses show that: there weresignificant differences between students of class A that usedconstructivist learning environments from Tarbiyah Major Islamiceducation of Kudus State Islamic High School and class B thatused conventional learning environments from Tarbiyah Major Islamic education of Kudus State Islamic High School on their academic achievement.
