Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of genetic and non-genetic factors on the growth traits including birth weight, weaning, and yearling weight of Bali cattle. Data were analyzed using generalized linear model (SAS) to observe non-genetic effect. To evaluate the genetic effect, the estimation of heritability were done using mixed models analysis with the dam and sire as random effect and sex, parity, year of birth, and season as fixed effect in the model besides the residual. The results showed that sex of calf had no significant influence on birth and weaning weight but had significant influence on yearling weight (P+0.07, 0.33+0.09, and 0.43+0.10 respectively. Heritability value of growth trait weaning and yearling weight in Bali cattle was quite moderate to high, so it was expected that selection in achieving increased gain on growth trait was effective.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to estimate genetic and phenotypic trends for growth traits including birth (BW), weaning (WW) and yearling weight (YW) in Bali cattle. The number of cattle used to determine growth traits of BW, WW, and YW were 235, 215, and 178 heads, respectively. Estimation of breeding value, phenotypic and genetic correlation were calculated by Restricted Maximum Likelihood and General Linier Model (GLM) procedures, respectively. Genetic trends analysis was performed using the regression mean breeding values on birth year. Phenotypic and genetic correlation among BW and WW were 0.10 and 0.08 respectively and 0.90 and 0.70 for WW and YW respectively. The phenotypic trends for traits of birth and weaning weight were constant, whereas yearling weight was fluctuating from 2000 to 2008. Likewise, in the case of genetic trends, the birth and weaning weight were constant from 2000 to 2008 except for WW in 2005, whereas the genetic trends for yearling weight showed a fluctuation of wide range. According to the breeding value estimated for all traits, the best was the sire No. 0565, whose breeding value for BW, WW and YW were +0.07, +2.79, and +10.25 kg, respectively higher than the mean value of the population. The genetic trends showed that there have been a significant and positive genetic improvement in all growth traits and indicate that selection would be effective. Genetic correlation between WW and YW was high (0.70) which indicates that the selection on weaning weight might also increase yearling weight in Bali cattle.

Abstract

AbstraksiKota Sukabumi merupakan kota yang bidang pariwisatanya sedang mengalami perkembangan. Para  wisatawan  dari  luar  wilayah,  khususnya  yang  baru  pertama  kali  mengunjungi  Kota Sukabumi akan  mengalami kendala dalam mengakses tempat-tempat wisata di kota ini, karena tidak mengetahui informasi  secara rinci mengenai lokasi wisata tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  membangun sebuah Sistem Informasi Geografis, yang diharapkan dapat membantu wisatawan dari luar daerah Kota  Sukabumi  mencari informasi sekaligus rute dari  posisi user  ke tempat wisata  yang akan di kunjungi.  Metode pengembangan aplikasi yang digunakan adalah metode  Waterfall.  Model  yang  digunakan  adalah  empat  buah  diagram  unified  modeling language (UML). Aplikasi yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat dijadikan media promosi sekaligus panduan  wisata  yang  mempermudah  wisatawan  dalam  merencanakan  perjalanan  wisata  di Kota Sukabumi. The tourists from outside the region, especially the first time visiting Sukabumi City will experience difficulties in accessing tourist  attractions  in  this  city,  because  they  do  not  know  the  detailed  information  about  the location  of  the  tour.  The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to  build  a Geographic  Information  System, which is expected to help tourists from outside the city of Sukabumi seek information as well as routes from the user position to the tourist attractions that will be visited. In making this thesis Application  development  method  used  is  Waterfall  method.  The  model  used  is  four  unified modeling  language  diagrams  (UML),  namely:  (1)  usecase  diagram;  (2)  Activity  Diagram;  (3) Sequence  Diagram;  And  (4)  Class  Diagram.  The  resulting  application  is  expected  to  be promotional media as well as tourist guides that facilitate tourists in planning a tour in the city of Sukabumi.Keywords: Tourism Sukabumi, android, Geographic Information Systems

Abstract

Abstrak Penerapan Algoritma Certainty Factor Untuk Sistem Pakar Diagnosis Urtikaria Pada Wanita Dewasa. Urtikaria adalah reaksi pada kulit akibat bermacam-macam sebab, sinonim penyakit ini adalah biduran, kaligata, hives, nettle rash. Ditandai oleh edema (bengkak) setempat yang timbul secara mendadak dan menghilang perlahan-lahan berwarna kemerahan dan pucat, meninggi di permukaan kulit, sekitarnya dapat dikelilingi halo (bulatan). Angka kejadian urtikaria cukuplah tinggi sebanyak 15%-20% penduduk pernah mengalami urtikaria dalam kehidupannya dan 25% diantaranya mengalami urtikaria kronik, penyakit ini lebih banyak dijumpai pada perempuan. Pada penerapan ini dibuat sistem pakar menggunakan Certainty Factor. Dengan aplikasi sistem pakar diagnosis urtikaria pada wanita dewasa diharapkan dapat membantu memasyarakatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman pakar-pakar yang ahli dibidangnya, mengetahui tingkatan penyakit berdasarkan gejala-gejala yang dialami dari penyakit urtikaria, tidak memerlukan biaya, menghemat waktu dalam pengambilan keputusan dan integrasi aplikasi sistem pakar lebih efektif mencakup aplikasi yang lebih luas. Kata kunci: Sistem Pakar, Certainty Factor, Urtikaria, Aplikasi Mobile Abstract Application of the Certainty Factor Algoritm for urticarial diagnostic system experts in adult women. Urticaria is a reaction to the skin due to various causes, synonyms of this disease are biduran, chilblains, hives, nettle rash. Marked by local edema (swelling) that arises suddenly and disappears slowly reddish and pale, rising on the surface of the skin, the surroundings can be surrounded by halo (spherical). The incidence of urticaria is quite high as much as 15% -20% of the population has experienced urticaria in their lives and 25% of them experience chronic urticaria, this disease is more common in women. In this application an expert system is created using Certainty Factor. With the application of an expert system of diagnosis of urticaria in adult women is expected to help popularize the knowledge and experience of experts who are experts in their fields, know the level of disease based on the symptoms experienced from urticaria, no need for cost, save time in decision making and integration of expert system applications more effective covering wider applications.
